View Full Version : Return of Jeff Hardy Thoughts

Inevitably, Jeff Hardy, the healthier of the Hardy's (shockingly), is coming back to wrestling for TNA. My feelings on this actually depends on Jeff's weight. Hear me out:

If we see Hardy back looking in better shape (at least so he doesn't have to wrestle with a shirt on) we can all take from this that not only is Jeff on the right path when it comes to his health, but actually cares about wrestling again. This Hardy is one I can support and feel that can still draw money.

If we get the same or a more out of shape Hardy than what we saw at the end of the horrid Sting match a few month ago - what is the point of bringing him back again? This is not the Hardy that anyone wants to see. If he comes back in the same shape that he left in, there was no point of taking him off of TV for this long. He would lose all of my interest and my support and TNA would lose the rest of my interest and my support.

Thoughts?

i hope that jeff takes advantage of this new opportunity and that he makes the best of it, if he is in the right path and in good shape, he can have an incredible run in tna, otherwise................he will sink tna and himself on the way

The canadian destroyer is still the most awesome finisher ever imo

As far as Jeff, I agree to an extant. That is to say that at this point if he comes back still all coke-bloated then he should just be released. If he is in shape and showing his old focus, then awesome

either way I will probably still watch TNA, simply because I still want to see all of the other talent that they have.

He needs to lose the weight yes and hopefully he does we know what happen to Chris Harris when he came back out of shape. He's healthy and not gonna bash him or make insulting jokes to what happen at Victory Road what happened happened it's time for time to move forward and for people to walk forward with it.

As long as he is coming back and going to be able to give it a 100% full effort, then ok. Otherwise don't bother.

I have no intrest in seeing either one of the Hardys wrestle again.Jeff has nothing to offer to TNA and can only hurt the company in my opinion.Im actually not one of the Hardy haters in the IWC but think there time in the wrestling buisness is up.

I hope Jeff comes back clean. He is still a big draw and if he can move good he will be a good asset.

Well some say hardy is in a good place. The question is , is it for good? Tna impact have to be careful with this, they might have him beat someone or win a feud when he first comes back but as someone eluded to they should have him put over the young guys now

I was there in Huntsville tonight and he looked and sounded better tonight. All he did was cut a promo about wanting a last chance. He did sound for the 1st time in a long time like he was in his right mind.

Sounds great I'm glad for him if he's off the stuff and found himself in a better position hope he doesn't screw it up though.

Would be great if he does come back better than ever. However, he still has a court problem. I think he needs to sort this out before actually returning as to not ruin any momentum upon his return

Heres a video that a fan took. View at your own risk since it's apparently a "spoiler" until it airs 2 weeks from now

I think Jeff has to be fit and redefine his gimmick as a face, I'm jus sayin...

He'll return as a face and this will most likely be his last chance with TNA. If done correctly Jeff's return could bring in better ratings. Somewhere I heard that he only got 10 days in jail and I think probation in court, however this could just be internet rumor. Either way Jeff needs to stay clean and make the most of his return to wrestling.

I think he is not going to sort that one out yet, because in reality it does not depend on him, It seems the district attorney wants to drag this one out long as he can, hey has been 2 freaking years since that incident, the people there just want to keep dragging it to make a best scandal out of it, when he got the TNA title, they just dropped the agreement and started looking for more evidence, how convenient.

Look, I am not defending Jeff Hardy for what he did, if he did something wrong, he should pay for it, but let him do it, don't drag it all forever in order to get better press out of it, that is exactly what it looks like after two years.

So I really hope he can make this return a good one, not a big fan of Jeff but don't want him to fail either.

It's obviously not my company, but he should have been fired IMMEDIATELY after ruining the main event of a pay-per-view. That's what your fans are paying their money to see and you let them down. It doesn't get any more unprofessional than that. He's been given countless opportunities and pushes in this business and he shit all over them. TNA was clearly way too hyped that they were able to acquire WWE's most popular wrestler (maybe other than Cena at the time) that they disregarded common sense and respect for the business. But since he's still a big name they'll push the hell out of him, probably to the detriment of all their far more talented but far less utilized roster. What a disgrace.
