Tara responds to pay "rumours"

Tara wrote a very interesting blog about the rumours over TNA Knockout's salaries.

And with regards to what is said in the wrestling gossip sites, I’m not going to bash them. Sometimes they are accurate, and I wonder how that info got out. But sometimes, and on stuff I know for certain, it can be inaccurate. Again, I don’t know how people get their information. But a perfect example is a couple days ago there was someone talking about the pay for the Knockouts. I know for certain that there were multiple inaccuracies in that article. Did someone plant the story to cause tension in our locker room, which is especially stress-free these days? Or did someone just mistakenly get some information wrong? Who knows, but that’s my “don’t believe everything you read” speech. If you want to know ask me. I respond to as much as I can on Twitter. What’s my favorite color? Red. How old is my dog Sophie? Three. How much do I get paid as a Knockout? None of your damn business ; )

I don't think we should care how much she earns. 9 years of WWE pay probably saved up as well as owning a motorbike shop I;m sure Lisa isn't bankrupt I can bet she is making enough to pay her bills with some cash left over.

I'd prefer TNA's money over WWE's money if you look at their scheduals I'd rather get paid alot for doing a few live shows a month rather then get paid a shit load for traviling around the world 10 times a year

I don't really think you have a ground to compare there because the money gap can be very big unless and even if you are a top name, also, wouldn't you like to travel the world at least once or twice and get international fans recognition? I mean even TNA stars did when they could different countries and different crowds to expose their selves out there.

Unless you get really homesick or you have something that really attach you to one particular place, which most wrestlers don't mind in the first place, stay in the same place is not really something you would want to do.

Also, why do you think people like the YB ask for their release in the first place? they were not used that often, as a wrestler you want to go out there and wrestle as much as you can, especially when you are between 20 to 35 or even 40, why Bryan Danielson is so famous in the indies? because he wrestled everywhere and plenty of times per week.

Like I said on the other thread about the report don't believe everything unless it can be proven to be true...

Good for Tara standing up for he company and others who work with her... Only a select few know who gets paid what in TNA... That being the stars, who ever writes the checks and who ever sign the checks... The same would apply to Yang supposedly not getting paid right away...

That should definitely be rewarded. If these "reports" are true, then TNA should treat those who are willing to defend their company like gold. Abyss lost his frikkin teeth for the company! He should be making RVD money for that!

Didnt Tara wanna leave TNA cause of them not paying enough.... I dont remember if this was true but i know she was thinking of going back to WWE cause TNA offered her a low figure contac... then she resigned.... anyone know of this.

Plus alot of sources including Gayle Kim and Awesome Kong say the TNA women dont get paid enough sometimes to cover the travel.... Hell if the men get paid so low they are on Food stamps i can only imagine what the women get paid.

Yeah it was true but then they paid her more money when they renewed her contract. She was supposed to go back to WWE and "mentor" Kelly Kelly in her feud with LayCool

Probably because she lends a lot of legitimacy to her opponents. Or, to put it another way, bitch can wrestle a paper bag and make the bag look like championship material. And it probably helps backstage to have a calm vet to help be a "locker room leader" for the KOs

Yes, it is because of that, The younger talent can use the rub form a good wrestler and someone with a lot of experience, why you think They put Miss Tessmatcher with her? or Madison to feud with Her? so she can share her knowledge there.

And she also has to remain relevant so she is not looked up as a has been. If an element like that, who is good and has the willing to continue, who is also hot and can teach new girls her ways, why not use her?
