yoshi is underrated by the WWE and the IWC. when people think underrated, they automatically think zack ryder n shelton benjamin. yoshi gets a decent pop when he comes out (n a bigger one after his matches), hes a solid worker and he brings an exciting style thats unique for WWE. if it was up to me, he'd be feuding with zack ryder for a mid card title right now. i think they should pair him up with a manager (is mr fuji still alive), and maybe turn him heel. give him a badass yakuza type gimmick, black suit, black shades, etc. or just push him as a face. either way, GIVE HIM THE FUCKIN IC TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very ture to be honest, I have to admit that I kinda miss out Tatsu's name when I think underrated. I wouldn't however say he is the MOST underrated wrestler in the WWE though, for me it would have to be Drew McIntyre, who I feel solidly earned his push in the way he pulled off the Smackdown elimination chamber match a couple of months ago. Also, I think Tyson Kid is absolute gold for in ring ability, and Ted Dibiasse had a never ending gimmick which could be used for anything, but I do agree, not many people on he internet pay much attention to Yoshi Tatsu, which is wrong.

He was putting on a string of good to very good matches against Tyson Kidd on NXT, and it seems that feud will come back on soon

sorry but no one is more underrated than curt hawkins in the wwe right now he is just as talented funny charismatic as zack ryder but he only appears on z true long island story right now at least yoshi tatsu appears on smackdown and yes that battle royal counts the chemistry between ryder and hawkins was so good i would love to see ryder & hawkins versus yoshi & goldust though

this whole "noble japanese warrior" character is just plain bland, no matter how good he is in the ring. and look back to the other asian/japanese superstars in the 'E..Kenzo Suzuki, Tajiri, Funaki, Jimmy Yang etc. and how they got treated? not so good.

It's inevitable though, being successful in the WWE is largely dependent on where you come from. If your European, mainly British or French, you automatically will be a heel, if your a Mexican high flyer wearing a shiny mask, you will be a face, and if you are Japanese, you will get a gimmick of not being able to speak English and using a super kick almost every match. The WWE aren't racist, but they are very crude and steriotypical in there choices, just look at cryme tyme or Sheamus to see that.

I wonder what they could do with Vickie being Yoshi's manager?? She "translates" for him saying something he absolutely didn't say which would lead to a push because of her "translations" but end in termoil because eventually he'll get sick of it & walk off, thus creating a fued with Ziggler or Swagger (depending on where that storyline is going) both would further push him, but after that ends is where you'd have to fill the void. I'm sure there's an Asian manager somewhere in the Indies that the E could snatch up to put him with afterwards.

I love his inring work though. I always come away from his matches very impressed & I actually think his matches are must see because he's rarely ever on tv.

Never noticed that until you just laid it out. Spot on your'e right. To immediately say that it's racist is ignorant. They're as you say crude and very stereotypical.

That idea with Vickie is actually an interesting idea IMO.

Also, there has never even been a WWE champion who was Asian. If my memory serves me correct going back to late 90's. Some may say Batista since he is half Filipino but they consider themselves Pacific Islanders. Not Asians.

another thing. he may not look that tough, but i remember a funny story that came out not long after sheamus won the world title about when sheamus, yoshi n ted dibiase were all in FCW and they were room mates (i smell a sitcom!!!) anyway, sheamus apparently had a problem with using other peoples things. so yoshi n dibiase confronted sheamus, and sheamus got pissed and threw a protien mixer. now yoshi was trained in the new japan dojo n is apparently good with his hands. long story short, he caught the protien mixer and beat the crap out of sheamus.

Sin Cara is Mexican though and is young he hasnt lived in USA for very long.

Whilst Yoshi has lived in USA for a while now plus he lived with Sheamus (and someone else name escapes me) so he should know basic English by now anyway
