i can not believe people are saying angle. sure he is good maybe great but bret hart was ELITE. his match with bulldog was classic. his feuds with owen, shawn, and austin are legendary. there is no one like bret. BRET was the face of the wwe for so many years. he had amazing matches. he truly is the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be.

I am surprised by the amount of people voting Angle, his good but he'll never enter the same league as Hart.

Kurt Angle is good but he is no Bret Hart. Bret Hart is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there will ever be and he proved it over and over again. My vote goes to Bret Hart.

I don't know why I said he was a RR winner, I think I was getting him mixed up with Triple H back in 2002 for some reason. Oh well, scratch that bit.

Although both wrestlers will go down In history as some of the all time greats, Bret changed wrestling more in his time and did more to elevate others than angle. So for all the right reasons BRET HEART wins

I don't think there is a right answer in the Hart vs Angle debate. Both men are definatly deserving of the "Best" title that has been given to them and it was always a dream match that everyone would have loved to see... Too bad it just never happend due to timing.

I'm with you. I could really go either way. Bret or kurt. I agree with Benoit too. You just couldn't compare two more even wrestlers. Flip a coin.
