What if this whole thing is a work to generate mainstream news on TNA? There is an expression that all news is good news in professional wrestling. Realistically, I doubt that it is a work. Christy Hemme announced Daniels and Kazarian when she should have introduced Roode and Aries. However, was this her fault? Or was this a communication error by TNA's production team where she was indeed supposed to introduce Daniels and Kazarian first and the guys in the gorilla position screwed it up by Sending Roode and AA out first? Regardless, this is probably the best thing to happen for TNA in years. All news is good news and Christy Hemme may be able to use this 15 minutes of fame to do a photo shoot (hopefully for a porn mag) to earn some extra cash. Good for her if she takes advantage of the situation. In regards to AA, of course he deserves to be disciplined for sexual harassment as set forth in TNA's code of conduct/rule book. However, knowing TNA, they probably don't have one so Dixie probably just made up a random number on the spot and told AA this will be the amount of his fine and he has to apologize. Being a woman, Dixie should be extremely upset and even could consider firing AA to set an example that this type of conduct is not tolerated. However, Dixie is a promoter and AA makes her money so my guess is he will be kept on television and the upcoming PPV.
Based on your choices it seems like your favorite time period was from the early to mid 90's. I too was a huge Crush fan. I remember being about 8 years old and getting so bad when the second Doink would crawl from under the ring. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of Brian Adams at all in WCW.
I agree with everything other than Orton vs. Big Show. VKM loves to have talent lose in their hometown. I also believe that WWE will continue to hold Orton down and keep his request for a heel turn on hold. Therefore, I am going with the Big Show even though I hope I am wrong.
Good predictions. Probably right on.
Every body has there own opinions ... Austin ? Rock ? Hhh ? Taker ? ....
I agree with Marx. All of this has been done. And let the Shield do their own thing. one other thing I want to mention is what you said in the beginning about the feud not living up to the hype and you base it on the IWC's comments. The IWC is miniscule and insignifcant. we are the IWC and we're here for each other's amusment. That's all. WWE could care less what we think because ultimately, we're not the ones lining their pockets. we're the ones streaming the PPV's, not downloading the app, not buying the Cena shirts...etc. From a standpoint of catering to ALL wrestling entertainment fans, the Brock/HHH build up and feud is doing just fine. Don't believe me? Go back and watch the final segment on Raw. Listen to how loud the crowd was chanting for HHH, and tell me "people don't want to see this match".
I don't give a damn how good of a wrestler Aries is, the sexual harassment claim is ridiculous. Punish the crap out of him if he.... 1. Touches his crotch on her one bit 2. Makes some kind of sexual gesture towards her like thrusting 3. Does anything like grab her head in a suggestive way 4. Touches her inappropriately There's being sensitive to sexual harassment and then being oversensitive. This is oversensitive. I have watched the video multiple times and nothing of what he did seems inappropriate. In fact, I would have expected him to do that regardless if it was a man or woman screwing up. HOWEVA! It made Christy Hemme uncomfortable because she took it another way so you do need to show concern about it and let the employees know that's not going to be okay with her. Just like when people such as Bobby Heenan or Tazz have a no contact policy she can have the same thing. Also, Aries tweeting about it with a number of crotch references is basically saying "Oh I did mean it that way!" Very stupid. I have no problem with the fine taking that all into account but it really pisses me off how people like Mark Madden and TMZ have reported it like he rubbed his crotch around on her face.
