Not sure how I feel about this blog. I'll tell you why. 1. You discuss talent being misused. But talent is opinionated. I see zero talent in Wade Barrett. That's just me. And if he's at the level he's at, I think creative recognizes that's where he should be. And they know more about the business than you or I do. 2. Tag Teams and Divas. Tag Team division has been non-existent for so long now that we should be used to it. It's not coming back at any level it was years ago. And the Divas...well, if maybe they had some Divas with talent, I could see putting effort into the division, but honestly, who cares. Does that lack of Divas matches and storylines really matter that much to you? 3. You want all this attention put into things like Divas, tag teams, and showcasing new talent, but you want Raw to go back to 2 hrs? And where would they find the time to do all of this? 4. Part timers are around because they draw. Today's stars don't and it's been too long since they have that I no longer feel that today's current crop has the ability to carry this company. No longer do I feel creative is doing the wrong things with them, or not giving them a chance to shine. Now, I think it's because there's no faith in them. And I see it too. I've said a thousand times that today's stars are not stars. One of the things I've said about Punk is, he's the brightest star, in a sky full of dim stars. That's just the way it is. It won't be fixed. Today's guys just don't have the larger than life feel about them. Basically, it is not just the state of WWE, but the state of wrestling. The interest just isn't there anymore. All we can really hope for at this point, is that the writer's for WWE programming, can give us an entertaining tv show to watch. That's all we can hope for now, because your favorites, my favorites, and someone else's favorites, aren't always going to be showcased in the best possible way, every single episode of every single program. Instead of worrying about the state of WWE, just enjoy the show.
A great read except for the "senior mentors like Kelly Kelly, Lita and Trish Stratus" part. How could you put Kelly Kelly in the same group? For shame! The rest of the blog was spot on and fantastic.

No doubt Val Venis was not the first character in wrestling to be a ladies man. The way Rude and Venis posed in the ring were shockingly similar. But if you you at their gimmicks as a whole Rick Rude and Val Venis were two completely different Characters. This was one of those situations that they did have similarities, but they were two very different people. Thanks for your comments

Do you people actually watch the matches or just follow the terrible story lines. This Raw was one of the best in a long time in terms of wrestling. Cody v Orton, cesaro v del rio, ziggler v kofi and the shield v hell no + cena were all excellent matches.

I agree that Raw was pretty bad this week. But the things I enjoyed about Raw this week are completely opposite of the things you mentioned in your review...such as Orton vs Rhodes and Ziggler vs Kofi. Two fantastic matches. I was going to add more to this comment but I think I'll save it for my next Coffee Talk. Good Blog.
