The neglect of the midcard is totally ridiculous. There are lots of guys taking time off for injuries or whatever, but instead of pushing the midcard faces to fill the void in their absence, they just stretch out the remaining main eventers' TV time. I liked that WWE is pushing Daniel Bryan, but what bothered me about Bryan working two matches is that that it felt more like the only reason Bryan did double duty was to kill TV time. Because WWE didn't want to actually use that time to build anyone outside of the main event scene. No one should be pulling double duty when there are a lot of talented, but underutilized guys on the roster starving for TV time. If Bryan absolutely had to work two matches, it would've been better if he had been booked against one of the undercard faces instead of Ryback. Basically have Bryan be so obsessed with proving he's not the weak link that he tries to pick a fight with a jobber so he can assert his superiority. Lets say someone like...let's say Alex Riley tries to calm Bryan down and reassure him that he's not the weak link. Instead of listening, Bryan goads him into a match. Riley would get a few hope spots in and struggles to hang with Bryan, but Bryan would just annihilate him with brutal holds and strikes. Kane comes out, pleading with Bryan to end the match and tells him he has nothing to prove. Riley attempts one last ditch attempt at a comeback, but Bryan catches him in a guillotine and chokes him out for the win. Bryan still gets to look like a badass, and a deserving talent gets TV time. WWE had a chance to get some fresh talents over, but they blew it because only the main event guys matter.
I have seen like three blogs or posts lately where of has been spelt off consistenly. It is simple English how old are the bloggers on this site?
^^ Takin notes, Speezy?
Hate the card, you are using guys who are barely booked on Raw and SD. Sting vs Taker-the match everyone wants to see....MAIN EVENT! John Cena vs Bobby Roode-it pays to be Roode and selfish....who else could have face other than the top heel in the company? Aries vs Ziggler-greatest man vs showoff....battle of egos and great match. Who's better? Kane vs Abyss-Abyss has similarities to Kane and Mankind. Already have Foley vs Abyss. Now it is time to have that other dream match finally!! Daniel Bryan vs Kurt Angle-Reminds me of the matches between Angle/Benoit type of dynamic, but i feel Bryan has a much better connection with the crowd. You suck vs YES/NO chants! CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy-beat Hardy forcing him to leave WWE. Prob have this be 2nd to last match. AJ vs Mickie James-similar characters as crazy! Gotta have a divas/KO match. Ryback vs Samoa Joe-Joe's gonna kill you vs feed me more! Love the dynamic of a possible choke out vs a monster like Ryback. Shield vs Aces & 8s(Bully Ray, Mr.Anderson, Devon)-Where have the Dudley Boyz been? They have been in TNA! Best tag team ever vs a new top stable in the biz. AJ Styles vs Randy Orton-Being the best in a small pond is one thing, being the best in the largest is the other. Love to have used Morgan/Sheamus/James Storm/others
Decent blog, I just had a couple of counterpoints: 1: Sheamus is not feuding with the Shield right now. 2: Miz's figure 4 was not done from the proper position, but rather, from the ground. Doesn't necessarily make it sloppy, does it?
The main event, I'd book for Summerslam: Lesnar vs Cena vs Punk. WWEs worst nightmare as one of the Paul Heyman guys leave with the WWE title. This is what starts the feud between Punk and Lesnar.
I think they should stop doing the 6 man tags for a while and start focusing on the championships. Some time down the line, have them lose maybe to the Wyatt Family. That is what I'd do.....
