  1. WWE: 2002 Style Draft to Move Forward

In my previous blog, I discussed how brand- specific PPVs could be the way forward - http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/commun...92#comment5592

After thinking long and hard about another old school way in which WWE could enliven their 'Universe', I came back to what they did in 2002 with the Brand Extension draft. At that ...

  2. The Importance of Being a Mid-Carder

One of the things I missed about the attitude era is the fact that no matter where you were on the card, you still had as much of a chance to get over with the audience as any of the main eventers. Anyone that is a wrestling fan knows all about people like:

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Tazz, Sabu, RVD, Kane, DDP, Randy Savage, Sting, Ted Dibiaise, The Rock, Ultimate ...

  3. Why do we Hate our Wrestling Era?

I loved the attitude era like must of you have already expressed in previous blogs or comments do too. We loved the wrestlers, the storylines, the Monday night wars, etc. We loved everything about it and got behind it. We got to see wrestlers start at the bottom, become solid mid-carders, and eventual main-eventers.

Here are my reasons why I’m not a big fan of today’s wrestling. ...

  4. Why do People Hate TNA wrestling? Hogan/Bishoff? PART2

Well after I have read the comments that the last post received, I just needed to correct a few of them. HOGAN AND BISHOFF DID NOT DESTROY WCW. The merge between AOL and Time Warner is what caused the demise of WCW. AOL didn't want anything to do with pro-wrestling at the time. The only option Eric Bishoff had was to keep the company but there would be no TV deal, which would have been a pointless. ...

  5. WWE insults fans with RAW POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

As a loyal fan of the WWE, I usually let a lot of things slide with the company. I let the edited cheers and boos on Smackdown! slide, despite my extreme grotesque towards altering the crowd to suit what the company wants. I let the FAKE OBAMA segment on WWE Capitol Punishment slide. It was a complete waste of time, but I still felt the solid matches made the PPV a decent show. However, lying to the ...

  6. WWE WILDCARD what should have been

Hi peeps this is my 1st blog so let me know what you all think.

Last year wwe added wildcard to its ppv calendar only the event never took place and was scrapped for some reason which is disappointing because the title wildcard had so much potential.

Three things before we come to the matches:
1 every superstar or diva is selected at random
    2 superstars ...
  7. Top Wrestlers of the WWE

Decided to start blogging here just to "get the poison out", so to speak, about my thoughts on various things in the wrestling business. Starting with the top guys in WWE.

John Cena - Always compared to Hogan. Don't get why. Hogan's promos were always fun. Cena's are boring. Even when he was a heel rapper, all his promos did was give the crowd an excuse to yell a swear ...

  8. And I Quote: Does age matter?

After a 7/10 Over the Limit in which Randy Orton vs Christian undoubtedly stole the show it now begins the countdown to Capitol Punishment. Capitol Punishment which is set to be held in Washington DC could be a perfect platform for the return of the animal Batista. Although short notice, there have been rumours of Big Dave's return due to the lack of main event talent now available on Raw.

  9. Ring Of Honor: The Saviour Of Wrestling?

This is my first blog I've done where WWE is not the main focus. Hope you enjoy it.

Now, I'm sure when news broke out that Ring Of Honor got a TV deal, a lot of the Indy wrestling fans and internet marks died a little bit inside. What a moment. One of the hottest Indy companies today, who not too long ago lost their TV deal, is now about to join the big leagues as a mainstream promotion. ...
  10. Kharma is a Bitch, but when she cries .....

As usual, leave your comments down below after you read the blog.

So last night on RAW, wrestling fans anticipated two things from the WWE. One. A tribute to Macho Man Randy Savage, which we got and what a beautiful tribute it was (not to mention CM Punk wearing a Macho Man attire in tribute to him). The second was to see Kharma come out and continue her destruction of the diva's division. ...
