  2. CM Punk, the voice of the long-time WWE fan

Last night I sat down to watch RAW, and found myself annoyed at the blatant fixing of the RAW Roulette wheel, and the repetitive matches that were put together. I pretty much switched off after the Evan Bourne versus Sin Cara match because I knew it would be good, which it was (the ending was questionable though).

After RAW had sent me to sleep I woke up this morning to check this

  3. CM Punk = Wrestling's Promo Jesus

For those who did not see CM Punk's promo on the 6/27/11 edition of Monday Night RAW, I feel sorry for you. To quote the infamous Joey Styles:

    Oh My God.

Following a table match between John Cena and R-Truth where CM Punk helps R-Truth defeat Cena, Punk walks to the top of the stage and sits down in his signature "straight edge" Indian style with a microphone ...

  4. Money In The Bank Predictions

Hey guys, Black Falcon here with my first ever blog on the upcoming WWE Pay Per View ‘Money In The Bank”. Only in its second year as a full PPV, The Money in The Bank match has taken mid-carders such as Jack Swagger and CM Punk and propelled them into big-time matches and Championship reigns.

Here I’ll be commenting on the confirmed championship matches, along with my predictions ...
  5. STATE OF THE 'E: The PG/Hep C Connection

No, it's not an awesome new Tag-Team. Nope, not a train route or bus route either. It's apparently a VERY interesting epidemic within the world of Professional Wrestling for a VERY long time now. What a better time to examine what we know?

There's a documentary coming out called "Don't Bleed On Me". If you haven't seen any of the trailers or watched any of the clips, I suggest ...
  6. WWE: 2002 Style Draft to Move Forward

In my previous blog, I discussed how brand- specific PPVs could be the way forward - http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/commun...92#comment5592

After thinking long and hard about another old school way in which WWE could enliven their 'Universe', I came back to what they did in 2002 with the Brand Extension draft. At that ...

  7. Greatest Hardcore Wrestlers

To be honest I'll probably get flamed for the order of the top two, but between them it's so tightly contested that I had to order it that way.

1.) Sabu (Terry Brunk -- AKA, Terry Junior in the back.)

Sabu is a close-cut number one purely because he puts CZW to shame and makes them look like school-girls. This man has been in "two-dozen," no rope barb-wire ...

  8. The Importance of Being a Mid-Carder

One of the things I missed about the attitude era is the fact that no matter where you were on the card, you still had as much of a chance to get over with the audience as any of the main eventers. Anyone that is a wrestling fan knows all about people like:

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Tazz, Sabu, RVD, Kane, DDP, Randy Savage, Sting, Ted Dibiaise, The Rock, Ultimate ...

  9. Why do we Hate our Wrestling Era?

I loved the attitude era like must of you have already expressed in previous blogs or comments do too. We loved the wrestlers, the storylines, the Monday night wars, etc. We loved everything about it and got behind it. We got to see wrestlers start at the bottom, become solid mid-carders, and eventual main-eventers.

Here are my reasons why I’m not a big fan of today’s wrestling. ...

  10. Why do People Hate TNA wrestling? Hogan/Bishoff? PART2

Well after I have read the comments that the last post received, I just needed to correct a few of them. HOGAN AND BISHOFF DID NOT DESTROY WCW. The merge between AOL and Time Warner is what caused the demise of WCW. AOL didn't want anything to do with pro-wrestling at the time. The only option Eric Bishoff had was to keep the company but there would be no TV deal, which would have been a pointless. ...
