At Summerslam Access in a few weeks time, THQ reveal the full roster (par maybe DLC’s) for WWE ’13 video game.

Personally, I can’t wait!

With an Attitude Era theme to this year’s game, it could possibly be the best WWE video game – maybe wrestling game as a whole – ever produced!

A little while ago, a supposed “leaked” roster made its way online. Many, including myself, thought the roster was legit, despite missing a few names that were confirmed for the game.

Now, it’s been confirmed that the leaked roster was a fake.

Names such as DDP, John Laurinaitis, Rikishi and Too Cool have been confirmed for the game, but their names weren’t on the leaked roster list for the game.

Cory Ledesma, the creative genius behind the WWE Games, has said that the Attitude Era story mode and roster will stay true to that period in wrestling in WWE.

WCW will have few mentions in the game, as “The Monday Night Wars” is also a theme in the game to go along with the Attitude Era.

Cory and the team at THQ are looking to include ALL the major names that revolutionized that period in wrestling.

To this day, there have been hints in some of WWE 13’s “Revolution” trailers that made their way online earlier this year. Yes, the ones featuring CM Punk.

The original “Revolution” trailer, which was more of a vignette for the announcement of the game, featured various stars from the Monday Night Wars era of sports-entertainment.

Now, before I state a couple of VERY interesting names, the Attitude Era story mode is said to have the player relive the historic events that took place during that era of WWE.

The Montreal Screw job, Austin vs. McMahon, DX invading WCW, Austin vs. Rock feud, Undertaker vs. Kane, Shane buying WCW…these are all historic moments in WWE history that help shape the Attitude Era.

The VERY interesting names and faces that appeared in the original “Revolution” WWE 13 vignette, as I mentioned previously, are Bret Hart, DX featuring Triple H, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws, Paul Heyman, Shane McMahon and the New World Order.

Bret Hart, in his classic battles against HBK and Stone Cold Steve Austin and suffering the Montreal Screw Job, was an architect for the Attitude Era. D-Generation X (the babyface group) pretty much WAS the personifications of the Attitude Era.

The last three names I mentioned are very interesting indeed: Paul Heyman, Shane McMahon and the New World Order.

Firstly, Shane McMahon played a HUGE part in the Attitude Era; especially the Austin/McMahon rivalry. Shane not only went on to lead the Corporate Ministry with his father (which possible could suggest that Ministry members and Corporation members will feature in the game), but Shane also change WWE history when he led the WCW Invasion.

This leads me to my next two names that featured in the “Revolution” vignette/promo – Paul Heyman and the New World Order.

Paul Heyman’s ECW and WCW’s New World Order majorly influenced WWE’s Attitude Era, and their edgy direction which revolutionized the company.

In terms of Paul Heyman, he was present during the latter part of the Attitude Era. And with Brock Lesnar signing earlier this year with WWE (and is more than likely in the game/also in WWE’12), and with Heyman’s current WWE run, it’s very possible that the former ECW Owner will be a character in the game.

In terms of the New World Order…this is where it gets REALLY interesting.
In a couple of WWE ’13 official screenshots, you can clearly see fans in the crowd wearing nWo T-Shirts. Apart from signs, if a simulated audience member in a WWE game in wearing a T-Shirt of a WWE Superstar or faction, it is an indication that they are in the game.

With the “Monday Night Wars” theme having a presence in WWE ’13, and since it was the New World Order that helped WCW beat WWE in the ratings, its likely they will be involved in the game.

Kevin Nash is HEAVILY rumoured to be in the game and Hulk Hogan – despite being in TNA – is allowed to negotiate deals outside of that company, and also appeared in WWE All-Stars, and could definitely appear under the persona of “Hollywood Hulk Hogan” in the game.

As for Scott Hall (who, as Razor Ramon, was also featured in the “Revolution” WWE ’13 announcement promo) – I have a theory. If you look at the roster, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and X-Pac have ALL been confirmed for the game – with Kevin Nash most likely also. All these wrestlers make up the infamous “Kliq” group that help shape the “Monday Night Wars” Era in wrestling at the time. If Scott Hall is confirmed, then we will FINALLY have a game featuring every member of the “Kliq” group.

Another reason that the New World Order is likely in the game is that they actually did appear in the far latter part of the Attitude Era, when they were brought in by Mr. McMahon to the WWE. This ultimately led to a dream match between Hollywood Hulk Hogan versus the Rock at Wrestlemania X8.

In another quick note, also, because the WCW Invasion led by Shane McMahon may play a role in WWE ’13, it’s a strong possibility that the WCW stars could be that of DDP (confirmed for the game), Booker T (confirmed for the game) and the New World Order as the WCW invaders.

Even though Cory Ledesma said that we would relive the landmark moments from the Attitude Era, doesn’t mean that they have to be very specific. This game could finally give us the WCW Invasion that SHOULD have been. The Alliance, I STRONGLY doubt, will be in the game at all.

Also, as I close out, think about this…D-Generation X versus New World Order in WWE’13! I PRAY IT HAPPENS!

In today’s WWE, under-utilized talent is a hot topic.
There is always that rumour, now and again, through the grape vine (ala wrestling websites) that someone is in order for a push, but then just end up fading into obscurity…or unemployment (or knock on TNA’s door). Just look at what happened to Chris Masters in late 2010/ealy ’11 – we all read about his push that was set to happen, then ended up getting released, even though he improved greatly. CM Punk even mentioned this in a promo against Johnny Ace and Triple H on Raw last year.
Guys like Drew McIntyre, Michael McGillicutty and others are amazing talents, but are not getting pushes, despite rumours that they will be.
I’d like to share some of my ideas with you concerning just a few of the under-utilized talents of today’s WWE.

This blog is concentrating on two specific WWE Superstars: Tyson Kidd and Michael McGillicutty.
      Here goes…

Tyson “The Assassin” Kidd

During a match on Monday Night Raw, Jerry “The King” Lawler makes a comment towards Tyson Kidd - saying that he “may have been trained by Bret Hart, but will probably never be as good as the Hitman”.

One week later, Natalya makes her way down to ringside at Raw and slaps The King, calling him disrespectful. The King, Michael Cole and the entire WWE Universe appear confused. As The King and Natalya get into a heated debate at ringside, a masked man comes from the crowd, behind Lawler, and brutally attacks him.
Just as officials come down to put a stop to the attack, the man removes his mask to be revealed as Tyson Kidd. Tyson then screams down at The King “you’ve just been assassinated…old man!”

The WWE Universe becomes more confused.

On the following Raw, Tyson Kidd and Natalya make their way to the ring. Kidd states that when Natalya watched his match a few weeks ago on Raw, she overheard The King’s statement about how Kidd will never be as good as Bret Hart. When she told him, Kidd took out Jerry Lawler.

Tyson then makes a strong claim that he has already PROVED that he is better than the Hitman – his mentor. Kidd said that back when Bret was in his prime, it took him months to defeat Jerry Lawler. Now, it only took Kidd one night to take him out. Since The King never saw Kidd coming, Kidd then told the WWE Universe “if Bret is “The Hitman”, then I am the “Assassin”…because you’ll never know who I am going to assassinate next.”

From that day on, Tyson Kidd (reunited with Natalya) renames himself Tyson “The Assassin” Kidd.

Shortly after, The King returns and attacks The Assassin, sparking a rivalry. WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart even makes his eventual return to Raw, and claims Tyson and Natalya are being disrespectful to the Legends that paved the way for them. This results in Natalya low-blowing her uncle, and The Assassin applying the Sharpshooter to his own mentor, The Hitman. But, The King eventually makes the save.
This leads to a huge PPV match, with Tyson “The Assassin” Kidd with Natalya in his corner, taking on WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, with Bret “The Hitman” Hart in his corner. Finally making an impact, Tyson defeats The King.

“The Perfectionist” Joseph C. Hennig

After losing yet again to Tyson Kidd in the final match of their rivalry which began on NXT, Michael McGillicutty actually shook the hand of his rival. Afterwards, in an interview, he told the entire the WWE Universe that no-one will ever see Michael McGillicutty again.

A few weeks later, SmackDown General Manager *Insert Name* reveals that they have signed a new second generation star. On SmackDown that night, while Rey Mysterio was in the ring about to address the WWE Universe about his big announcement, Michael McGillicutty, in a sharp-looking bright-white suit, attacked Mysterio.

As he stood in the ring, McGillicutty revealed a new look – an expensive white suit, slicked back hair and trimmed stubble.

Michael then revealed to the entire world that he was no longer called ‘Michael McGillicutty’. He says that it was time to make his family proud, and that every time he steps in this ring, he proves that every move and hold he executes is “perfect”, and that “perfection” runs in his family – coming from his late father, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig. In fact, he even says he would go as far as to say that he is “the most perfect wrestler in the world.”

He is now known by his real name. He is “The Perfectionist” Joseph C. Hennig.
In closing, he told the WWE Universe, while fixing up the buttons of his expensive suit jacket, “I am the Perfect man”.

...

I know this may be a bit early but since the roster for theWWE ’13 video game has been “leaked” online, many have questioned if it is legitor not.

To view the leaked WWE ’13 roster, view the link below.

Also, it’s been 100% confirmed that a total of 77 superstarswill appear – being a mixture of current WWE superstars (38), Attitude Erasuperstars (32) and Divas (7).

About the roster, there are a few interesting things that havebeen crossing my mind that I’d like to touch upon.

THQ have confirmed that rather than have their Attitude Erapersonas be added as alternate attires, they will be different character modelsaltogether. At first I was quite angry, since we now get two of Big Show,Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Christian, Rock, Kane, Mark Henry and Triple H.
These roster spaces could have been used for current WWESuperstars that are missing from the roster such as Drew McIntyre, (theever-in-demand) Uso Brothers, Michael McGillicutty, Ezekiel Jackson, TysonKidd, and Yoshi Tatsu and so-on.
On a personal note, I’m shocked that William Regal isn’tfeatured as both current and Attitude Era character, even though he has been anNXT announcer recently. Here’s hoping.
But since the Attitude Era is returning in a big way in WWE‘13, I think this could be great. It will feel like two WWE games in one, although it’s a shame about some of the characters I mentioned be excluded fromthe WWE ’13 roster.

The Divas roster, also, is disappointing. Even though whenWWE Divas did model scans for the game many, many months ago, the small rosteris quite bad. Instead of Natalya and AJ, we get Alicia Fox and the recentlyreleased Bella Twins.
Fear not, as THQ have confirmed that another Divas DLC Packwill be released shortly after the game comes out. Last year, the Bella Twins,Alicia Fox, Trish Stratus, Kharma and Vickie Guerrero all made it into thegame. There is a HUGE chance that Natalya, AJ, Layla, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes andVickie Guerrero could all make it into the game as part of DLC.

Speaking of DLC, there is a few WWE Superstars have beenconfirmed to appear in the game by one source or the other that don’t appear onthe leaked roster.
Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) has confirmed that will appear inthe game and as part of his return to WWE, Tensai has also had his charactermodel scanned for the game.
In this year’s featured “Attitude Era” story-mode that hasbeen confirmed for the game, a source confirmed that the storyline will featureCM Punk will lead an Invasion of Attitude Era superstars against WWE and – asyou guessed it – Punk’s arch-nemesis, John Laurinaitis.
Big Johnny’s character model was also featured this pastMonday Night Raw, were he was featured on the fake cover of WWE ’13 video game.
Also, rumour has it from a very good source that Rybackchants have been put into the game. Brodus Clay JUST made it into the game lastyear Ryback may be the same this year.

While I believe the WWE Leaked Roster to be somewhat legit, here’s who I predict to be part of various DLC packs to come out after therelease of the game:

Downloadable Characters:
John Laurinaitis
-- To be featured prominently in the game as main antagonistto CM Punk and Attitude Era grapplers. Rumour has it that THQ are currentlyworking on his recent “People Power” attire he wore at Over the Limit againstJohn Cena.
Tensai
-- Strong rumours are that, before he debuted, Tensai hadhis character model scanned for the game at WWE HQ in Stamford by THQ.
DDP
-- Confirmed himself that he is in the game.
Ryback
-- With the all-but-confirmed rumour that Ryback chants havebeen included in the game, expect him to just make it into the DLC packs.
Paul Heyman
-- Paul Heyman recently visited WWE HQ in Stamford, well before his TV return, to docommentary on the upcoming CM Punk DVD. With Lesnar confirmed to be in the gameat very early stages of production on the video game, it is very possible thatPaul Heyman could have been included. A “General Managers” DLC Pack with BigJohnny could be possible.
New World Order
-- I know what most of you must be thinking, but give me amoment to explain a few things. Point ONE: In this video ((http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4s0z20IH8Q))a fan points out that an nWo T-Shirt is seen (faintly) worn by a fan in thecrowd. In all previous WWE games, whenever a fan character model in the crowdis wearing a t-shirt it is always of a WWE grappler who is included in thegame. Point TWO: Kevin Nash, even though he hasn’t been on WWE TV this year(yet), still made the roster. This could mean that going with the whole“Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars” theme in WWE ’13 (if you go to THQ’s WWEwebsite, they mention in a small article about the features of the game thatyou will relive the “Monday Night Wars”) that the New World Order could invadethe WWE in the storyline. Point THREE: Kevin Nash could simply have alternatenWo attire. Point FOUR: With nearly ever single member of D-Generation X (barChyna) from the Attitude Era (even Mike Tyson is in!) in WWE ’13, WWE and THQcould finally give us the proper Invasion storyline, and a DX vs. New WorldOrder storyline we have all been waiting for! Point FOUR: Hulk Hogan’s TNAcontract allows him to have merchandise deals outside of the company – this ishow Hulk Hogan appeared in both Legends of Wrestlemania and WWE All-Starsgames. Hogan, Nash and Hall could return!

Another interesting piece of news about WWE ’13 is the WWE Announcers.Jim Ross confirmed that WWE ’13 will feature various commentators. Before I getahead of myself, this could mean a few things. ONE: you can select 2 or 3 teamsfor the first time in a WWE game: Attitude Era’s Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross, current WWE’s heel Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, or even all 3 men at onetable. With Booker T excluded from the leaked roster, he could be included alsowith Michael Cole. TWO: When you play the Attitude Era storyline or/and selectthe classic Raw is War arena, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler will commentate. Thiscould be much like the old WWE games where you selected a RAW arena inExhibition; you had (for example) JR and King, and JBL and Michael Cole whenyou selected SmackDown.

In terms of managers, I’d actually expect Ricardo Rodriguez,Hornswoggle and Rosa Mendes to be included as non-playable managers for thegame. ...

I want to start off by saying this new storyline between new WWE COO Triple H/ CM Punk/Kevin Nash has got my interest peeked to a whole new level.

Nash’s return at Summerslam and the overall direction of this storyline is very unpredictable – something that really hasn’t been seen on WWE TV in a long time.

Many believe the direction with this whole “who sent Nash the text” storyline could go numerous ways…

The most popular is the “Triple Heel Turn/New Corporation” theory. I believe this is the most believable way it could go – given WWE’s choice making.

Stephanie was the person who actually sent the text to Kevin Nash at Summerslam, which brings her back on TV as a new Heel character to mix things up in this storyline. Triple H turns Heel by confessing he knew Stephanie sent the text, and he/Stephanie/Nash/John Laurenitus join forces as the new Heel authority faction. They all draft WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio (along with Ricardo Rodriguez, of course) into their stable as the man they want as the company’s ideal face and Champion.

HHH and Punk engage what will be the new age “Austin vs. McMahon/Rebel vs. Authority Figure” rivalry.

But recent events make me think otherwise, and I have a small feeling it may dramatically go into a different direction, since I believe WWE really don’t want to drop the ball on this one.

WWE.com recently put up a few blogs about a possible New World Order return…just hear me out…but, then again, could have just put up those blogs to hype Kevin Nash’s controversial involvement in the storyline, and the fact he’s using the instrumental version of the NWO theme for his entrance music.

But here’s my take on what possibly could go down…

For the foreseeable future, the WWE is having the brands join together for each show – “Super Shows” as they are called – which means RAW and SmackDown stars are going to engage in new feuds with each other, regardless of brand representation.
This is good, because that means a limitless possibility of new feuds can come of this.

Now, back to the point of the direction of the storyline – don’t worry, the above plays a part in my theory of the direction of the plot…

Remember when John Laurenitus said he wanted to talk to Nash in his office privately, the night after Summerslam? Also, Nash also said on Raw that he got his driver to tell John Laurenitus that he was in a car crash, but then he stated a few minutes later in the promo that when Nash returned to the building…Laurenitus signed him to a contract. Didn’t Laurenitus also believe Nash was in the accident? Also, notice how (if you go back and watch all the segments involving Punk/Nash/Hunter) how Nash wants to strike Punk as soon as he mentions anything about Stephanie? But doesn’t strike him when he insults Nash? Hmmm….

I’ll now give you my answers to these questions. I believe that when Nash and Laurenitus went into Laurenitus’ office privately on Raw the night after Summerslam, he told Nash that he and Stephanie were conspiring to take over WWE from new COO Triple H – and it was BOTH Stephanie and John Laurenitus who stole Hunter’s phone and text Nash to take out Punk.

It was also Stephanie and John Laurenitus’ idea to have Alberto Del Rio cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

So, basically, Laurenitus told Nash in the private meeting all these plans. I mean, if they weren’t talking about, or even, signing a contract – what were they talking about?

Here’s the reasoning behind the whole plot…

Stephanie reveals that ever since the day Triple H seduced her, she knew right away that Hunter wanted into her family – and, ultimately, to control the WWE one day. She’s not stupid, she’s a McMahon. But Stephanie saw this as an opportunity to achieve her own little master scheme – for HER to take full control of the WWE. So instead of simply finishing her relationship with Hunter, she uses him – like many of us believe Triple H was using her – for power. She also reveals that all this time, the only person who knew about her plan was her father’s right-hand man: John Laurenitus - sort of Steph’s personal spy and mentor.

So when Stephanie saw the CM Punk-WWE Title situation, she saw an opportunity to finally put her plan into action. She was the one who decided to have her and Triple H have a vote of no confidence in Mr. McMahon’s position – which led to Triple H becoming WWE COO; a job which Vince groomed him for one day.

But when CM Punk dissed her, and Triple H didn’t defend her like a man – she became angry. She, also, became disappointed that HHH wouldn’t share her power with her. So she paid Kevin Nash – Triple H’s best friend – a lot of money to return to WWE to take CM Punk out for her. But when Triple H ultimately tried to get rid of Nash, Stephanie and Laurenitus came up with a HUGE plan – overthrow Triple H by having Nash form a new New World Order!

Stephanie will admit that she is in love with Triple H and wants him to join them, but he will decline.

So now it’s Man versus Wife for control of WWE!!

So Nash/Stephanie/Laurenitus recruit both stars from Raw and SmackDown (which the “Super Shows” idea comes into play – with both brands joining for the foreseeable future) into a truly powerful new NWO Faction – with WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio spear-heading the faction. But this New World Order will have an all-new attitude to fit with Superstars involved.

R-Truth will be the first one to be drafted into the faction. Stephanie and Johnny Ace reveal that R-Truth was right all-along – which is why he was the first one to chosen for the group. The Miz will join, as well as Superstars such as Wade Barrett (whom is a perfect fit – with the similar Nexus group and all – and the fact he isn’t doing much just now), a returning Big Show and Kane (both will return and become the “monsters” they really are – which Kane hinted at before getting “injured” by Mark Henry) and maybe even Christian, also. Hell, Beth Phoenix and Natalya also seem like suitable fits for the group.

This will be the NWO we all really wanted to see dominate in the WWE – like they did WCW. Except this is the WWE’s all-original take on the infamous faction.

With a power struggle going on, Triple H will joins forces with CM Punk and John Cena. This is also why they have Punk vs. Triple H so early on in what is to be a monumental storyline.

Just my opinion – would be cool though.
Stephanie McMahon’s nWo versus Triple H’s WWE.
Since the “SmackDown vs. Raw” was a failed concept that WWE often pushed on TV (no, I wasn’t referring to the video games) it’s likely that this will be the next big “Vs.” storyline that could see the WWE finally change for the better.

Thanks.

RAW Elimination Chamber Match
John Cena vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth
RESULT: Plans call for John Cena to win this match. Expect interference from TRIPLE H! Expect John Cena to become “Super-Cena” in this match as he is the first entry, and for CM Punk’s New Nexus to play a role in the elimination of others, especially Randy Orton. Also expect John Morrison to steal the show by performing high-flying moves using the steel structure.
ELIMINATIONS:
Randy Orton pins R-Truth
Sheamus pins John Morrison
CM Punk pins Randy Orton
John Cena pins CM Punk
John Cena pins Sheamus and becomes Number One Contender for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania!

TRIPLE H/SHEAMUS: As it comes down to Sheamus and John Cena, Sheamus looks to hit Cena with the “High-Cross”. But Triple H makes an appearance to a MASSIVE pop and strikes him in the exposed gut with a sledgehammer. “The Game” then hits the pedigree, only for a few moments later to have Cena crawl over slowly and make the cover. This will, obviously, lead to Triple H’s return to Raw and his revenge match against “King” Sheamus at Wrestlemania. The “King of King” Triple H vs. King of the Ring, King Sheamus

ORTON/PUNK/NEW NEXUS: The New Nexus will be the cause of Randy Orton losing in the Chamber match, thus elevating the feud between Orton and Punk to a new level, and have them face-off at Wrestlemania.

WWE Championship
The Miz with Alex Riley vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler
RESULT: OK, either two of these scenarios, I believe, may happen here.
ONE: Michael Cole and/or Alex Riley will cost Jerry Lawler the match, leading to a Handicap Match at Wrestlemania, featuring Jerry Lawler against Michael Cole and Alex Riley.
TWO: If this match takes place AFTER the Raw Elimination Chamber match, new Number One Contender, John Cena, will help in having Jerry “The King” Lawler win the WWE Championships. 24 hours later on Raw, the Miz evokes his rematch clause and wins back the WWE Title, mainly due to Alex Riley and Michael Cole’s interference. This way, it would solidify a rivalry between Miz and Cena for Wrestlemania, with Miz costing Cena the Royal Rumble match, and now Cena costing Miz the WWE Title for one day. Also, in turn, a match between Jerry Lawler against Cole and Riley would be huge, since they cost Jerry Lawler the WWE Championship.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston
RESULT: Kofi Kingston retains, as Christian returns and hits Del Rio with the “Killswitch”, and even attacks Ricardo Rodriguez, who tries to cost Kofi the match.

World Heavyweight Championship
SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match
Edge vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. Wade Barrett vs. Drew McIntyre
RESULT: Plans would call for Edge to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. In this match, we can probably expect interference from either “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to further build the feud between he and Rey Mysterio leading into ‘Mania, and/or Alberto Del Rio to try and cost Edge the World Title; but fail.
ELIMINATIONS:
Drew McIntyre pins Dolph Ziggler
Kane pins Drew McIntyre
Wade Barrett pins Kane (a slight nod to Barrett versus ‘Taker at Wrestlemania)
Wade Barrett pins Rey Mysterio
Edge pins Wade Barrett and retains the World Heavyweight Championship.
AFTER-MATH: As Edge celebrates the victory, Alberto Del Rio comes down to the ring and attacks Edge. Del Rio is then, in turn, attacked by Christian. Christian then helps Edge to his feet, and then celebrates with his best friend.

FOLLOWING SMACKDOWNS: On the following SmackDown episodes leading into Wrestlemania, Christian goes on to defeat Alberto Del Rio in tag team action. As Christian stakes his claim, even citing that Edge used his “Killswitch” to beat Ziggler at the Royal Rumble, for the World Championship by also beating the number one contender – Del Rio – Theodore Long says that if Christian can beat Del Rio again in one-on-one action, he will be added to Wrestlemania. Thanks to interference by Edge, Christian beats Del Rio and Wrestlemania is now a Triple-Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Expect tension between Edge and Christian.

*NOTE: It may seem like Del Rio has been losing a lot going into Wrestlemania, but I believe he will win the World Heavyweight Championship at the event.

MYSTERIO/RHODES: The last three competitors will be Edge, Wade Barrett and Rey Mysterio. As Mysterio looks as though as he is about to get the victory, Cody Rhodes, with a face-guard on, attacks Mysterio and hits him with the “Cross-Rhodes” on the steel floor, costing him the Championship.
On SmackDown, Rhodes gets the jump on Mysterio again and tries to de-mask him. This will set up Mysterio challenging the “Dashing One” at Wrestlemania, in a mask vs. mask match.

ZIGGLER/VICKIE/DREW/KELLY: A match that may likely be in the works, if you have been watching SmackDown closely, that may happen at Wrestlemania is Dolph Ziggler and Vickie against Drew McIntyre and Kelly in a Mixed Tag Team Match.
Hear me out…the scenario being that Drew McIntyre eliminates Ziggler from the match, with Dolph being eliminated first. After the shocking elimination, Ziggler recovers and hits McIntyre with the “zigzag”, and having someone else pin Drew to eliminate him.
The next night on SmackDown, in a match with McIntyre’s job on the line, Ziggler defeats McIntyre and, ultimately, Vickie fires Drew – but not without Drew giving Vickie a piece of his mind about firing Kelly. Then, one week later, Theodore Long returns from injury as General Manager. Dolph Ziggler is revealed as the man who attacked him, just so that Vickie could gain control and place Ziggler in matches for the World Heavyweight Championship. As a punishment for his actions, Ziggler will NOT be in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at Wrestlemania. Instead, Long makes a match at Wrestlemania: Dolph and Vickie against the two people who Vickie fired…Drew McIntyre and Kelly! Thus, Drew becomes a babyface with Kelly by his side to get over.

Big Show vs. Ezekiel Jackson
RESULT: With a major push happening for him, and to give “The Corre” group more heat, Ezekiel will walk away from this match as the winner. Interference from Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater is likely

Chavo even went as far as too say that she had all but for forgotten about the memory of her late, great Hall of Fame husband. After a tribute video in Eddie’s memory, Chavo decided to do the “right thing for once” and re-sparked his friendship with former enemy Rey Mysterio – much to Vickie’s dismay.
After watching CM Punk’s New Nexus take shape on Raw, and the rise of Wade Barrett’s new group, the Corre, on SmackDown – I’ve been bit by the faction bug!
For quite a while, I’ve been thinking up Factions that I would like to see form on WWE TV, as well as potential tag teams to give new life to the near-death WWE Tag Team Division of today.

Regal then promises the WWE Universe that he will build his “own empire” to rise to the top of the WWE. Aligning himself with fellow King of the Ring winner, Sheamus, William Regal then forms a team of fellow UK-born superstars on the WWE Roster. He aligns himself with fellow Englishmen Mason Ryan and Wade Barrett – as the muscle and accomplice, respectively – “the Chosen One” Drew McIntyre as the future star, and the lovely Layla as a valet for the faction. Together, they will take what they want with brute force!
FORMATION: After breaking up with SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero, many believed Dolph Ziggler was a changed man. But many were wrong. After quickly taking on Maryse as his new girlfriend, Dolph became cockier than even before! His cockiness and self-confidence attracted the attention of fellow self-loving WWE Superstars “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and Ziggler’s two former NXT Season 4 Rookies: Bryon Saxton and Jacob Novak. Now that this group of supremely cocky young stars is complete, one question remains: can one team contain this many egos???
FORMATION: After breaking up with boyfriend Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero became depressed. That is…until she met the “man of her dreams” in the wealthy and confident, Alberto Del Rio. When Del Rio charmed the Official Consultant of SmackDown, she believed Del Rio would eventually dump her, just like all of her former boyfriends in WWE. Vickie even went as far to admit that she is ‘fat’ to the entire WWE Universe. After hiring fit WWE Diva Rosa Mendes as her personal trainer, Del Rio lifted Vickie spirit’s up and finally convinced her to be his girlfriend. Now, this new power couple on SmackDown looks to make sure nothing will ever come between them.

TNA versus WWE...in TNA!!

It is our right as wrestling fans that we offer our thoughts, bitch, complain and down-right moan about the state of wrestling today. A hot topic in the past year or so is the overall state of TNA.

Too many fans, including myself, have voiced their opinions via the internet about how there is an overabundance of former WWE stars on the TNA Roster today. This is obviously became an even bigger issue when TNA President Dixie Carter announced the signing of wrestling’s most famous name: Hulk Hogan and his partner in crime, former WWE RAW General Manager and WCW Head, Eric Bischoff.

Since their arrival into the Impact Zone, the tandem has been the big talk of the wrestling world.

Many saw these two come in as both a negative and a positive – but all were unsure of their true intentions. Is Hulk Hogan in it for himself? Is Bischoff here to run the company into the ground? Will their ego’s get in the way of the new rising talent in TNA? No one knows to this day.

A little while before their signing, TNA was said to be at the height of their products success – mainly due to producing 5 star wrestling matches - including epic matches between AJ Styles and then-TNA Champion Kurt Angle. As Bischoff/Hogan arrived, they brought with them several former WWE talents including Orlando Jordan, Sean Morley (Val Venis), Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson (Mr. Kennedy), Ric Flair, Shannon Moore, Brian Kendrick, Rob Van Dam, and the very questionable Nasty Boyz tag team (who were fired after a dull feud with Team 3D). With so many former WWE Talents coming in – some of which were viewed by the wrestling fan community to be very unnecessary acquisitions (Nasty Boys, Morley and Jordan) – many felt Hogan and Eric wanted to transform the company into something very similar to WWE or even the old WCW – even going as far as going against every TNA fan’s wish and getting rid of the beloved 6-sided ring, and also briefly moving TNA Impact to Monday nights – a move fans the world over felt was too soon, but were excited about it nonetheless due to the aspect of the popular “Monday Nights Wars”.

Yes, many believed that all former WWE talents were taking up too much TV time and casting a very dark shadow over the TNA originals. Currently in TNA today – one year after Hogan and Bischoff’s arrival – they are still the talk of TNA with their new Immortal/Fortune factions being formed – which includes Hogan/Bischoff/Hardy heel turns. But, still, TNA is not at the level of global juggernaut World Wrestling Entertainment, despite having most of the rival company’s most popular ex-employees.

As I said at the beginning, it is our right as fans to say whatever we wanted, and also voice our opinions. So I decided to elaborate on TNA’s current state and suggest a major storyline that I personally think would work to TNA’s advantage, due us fans’ cry out about too many ex-WWE stars in TNA.

After viewing TNA’s Genesis PPV, it seems TNA is still, somewhat, focusing on hiring popular former WWE talents to try and boost their ratings (as every company tries to do), as they hired Matt Hardy last night. Since some of the talk of the wrestling world is how so many former WWE talents are on the TNA Roster – and how fans rejoiced at the prospect of the possibility of the Monday Night Wars returning, ala WWE vs. TNA – I think TNA should try a storyline of TNA vs. Former WWE Talents!

I know what most of you think may be thinking just now, but here me out if you will.

You may think that a storyline like this may be way too similar to the New World Order storyline in WCW or the Main Event Mafia storyline that proved to a memorable one in TNA, I think its just the “shockwave” the wrestling world needs that TNA could send out.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about every person who has been with WWE. There are TNA talents who fans consider are true to the company and have found more success in Total Non-stop Action than when they were in WWE. These wrestlers I speak of are as follows:

Jeff Jarrett – Jarrett is the founder of TNA. Even though he is a former star who found fame in the WWE/WWF and WCW, Jarrett was the one who started the company and hired guys like AJ Styles and members of Beer Money - so this would make him THE TNA Original.

Matt Morgan – Forgettable as a member of Team Lesnar back in 2003 on WWE SmackDown programming, and people definitely want to forget him as the stuttering giant bodyguard of Carlito. Since he has come to TNA, the “Blueprint” has found greater success and fame as a TNA mainstay.

Winter – the former Katie Lea Burchill has now been renamed and repackaged as a new mysterious character and has also found gold as a Knockout Tag Team Champion. Expect her to be more memorable as “Winter” as time goes on, rather than the close sister of Hurricane’s ECW Nemesis, and former Pirate, Paul Burchill.

Orlando Jordan – The former WWE United States Champion and JBL’s “Chief of Staff” had quite the run in World Wrestling Entertainment. But nothing quite as memorable as his “bisexual” gimmick that he currently portrays in TNA. The controversial OJ of TNA will likely shadow that of his former gimmick in WWE. Also, as part of a great comedic tag team with “Showtime” Eric Young in TNA today, OJ seems to have made a big splash in the Impact Zone. Complete with a brand new look, Orlando Jordan seems to fit in, in TNA.

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero – Former leader of the ECW New Breed, under his former guise in WWE – Elijah Burke – he enjoyed some success in World Wrestling Entertainment, earning ECW Title matches on PPV and even having a match at Wrestlemania. Many fans worldwide found Burke mildly entertaining, but all believed he wasn’t pushed right at all. When he came to TNA and became “The Pope”, fans knew that his time had come. Finding all new popularity as a TNA main event star, fans now believe he has gotten the push he deserves in the form of a character you can tell he is comfortable playing. Elijah Burke is dead and forgotten - the Pope is alive and memorable. (Can I get an Amen?)

So the storyline I propose is to have all former WWE talents (except the above) come together and do battle with the rest of TNA.
All former WWE Talents that will be a part of the Ex-WWE Faction will be as follows:

Leaders: Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff

Ric Flair

Kurt Angle

Scott Steiner

Rob Van Dam

Jeff Hardy

Matt Hardy

Shannon Moore

Mick Foley

Team 3D (Reunited for the storyline)

Mr. Anderson

Tommy Dreamer

Brian Kendrick

Mickie James

Tara

STORYLINE
In an effort to take TNA by force after being fired and their plans for Immortal/Fortune destroyed -Hogan, Flair and Bischoff promise an “Invasion” of the company. The former leaders of Immortal also tell TNA President Dixie Carter that one of her Superstars is now working for them…and it’s someone who wasn’t part of Immortal!

As paranoia spreads through all of TNA, it’s revealed that the traitor is actually Kurt Angle!
Upset that arch-nemesis Jeff Jarrett was forgiven and rehired by Carter, Angle secretly forged an alliance with the Immortal leaders to get back at her and Jarrett.

Angle, who is still under contract by TNA, appears in the Impact Zone and tells Carter that an “Invasion” will happen, and it will shake the wrestling world – way more than Immortal did!
He promises that week-after-week, superstars will join Hogan’s new regime, starting off with the Hardys!

…and so the storyline begins!

Even though many believe (as they rightfully should) that TNA should be its own product, and not have any references to the WWE, I believe this will elevate the company further. Having so many guaranteed shocking heel turns, as well as various twists in storyline, means every Impact would be un-missable!

But consider that as the entire former WWE Superstars in TNA band together, we would finally get to see a WWE vs. TNA-esque war. This would be a chance for TNA to look superior to the competition, in a small way of course. Having home-grown TNA talent (Like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Beer Money, Machine Guns etc.) go over established big named former WWE talents (Like Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, RVD, the Hardys etc) in epic, dream matches! (my money would go to Beer Money or Motor City Machine Guns against the Hardys!)

Former WWE Stars who may join the organization in the future would likely enter the company by banding with the ex-WWE Talent, and thus adding soldiers to the war. This way, fans will likely be pleased if a former WWE star joins TNA, rather than simply see them take a spot on the TNA roster next to all the other former talent Dixie Carter seems to be hiring these days (ala Matt Hardy and Scott Steiner).

So that’s what I propose. Why wait for TNA vs. WWE – when it can happen right now!

Thanks!

Full Royal Rumble Participants Predicitions

I’m going to go out on the limb here and guess who all 30 participants will be in this years Royal Rumble match. Although I’ve listed 15 from RAW and same for SmackDown, there are some factors with my choice. One of them being qualifying matches that are yet to happen on RAW and SmackDown.

It’s possible that not all Nexus members will be involved, although, the Nexus invading the Royal Rumble will be another chance for the group to make an impact whether they work together to eliminate superstars or fight each other!

Another factor is sometimes the WWE decides to have the amount of entries in favour of RAW, meaning sometimes RAW will have like 17 Superstars in the Rumble match, leaving SmackDown with just 13 of its Superstars (just an example).

Another is returning superstars. Christian is almost healed up, Skip Sheffield is to return very soon, the Great Khali too, and who can forget the Game himself, Triple H. Royal Rumble in recent years has been the time for WWE to surprise the WWE Universe. From John Cena returning early from a serious injury and winning the Royal Rumble to Edge retuning and winning last years Royal Rumble also, is it time for the WWE to do the same again? With the storyline being that Nexus put the Great Khali out of action, it’s likely that when (or if) the entire Nexus group is in the ring and has cleaned house, Khali will have a surprise return and attack Nexus. Same goes for Skip Sheffield. Also, we can probably expect Triple H to return and eliminate King Sheamus, and Christian to return and attack Del Rio. Personally, I believe Khali won’t return, nor Sheffield. I think Triple H WILL return, but after attacking a superstar and taking their spot (Chavo Guerrero anyone?), and eliminating Sheamus as well as himself. Also, just for the sake of it, wouldn’t it be AWESOME if Nexus were in the ring, Wade Barrett came down, they attack and eliminate him, then as they await the next entry, Triple H comes out and destroys the Nexus? WOW!! Anyway, I believe John Cena (…I know…) will in fact win the Royal Rumble, setting up himself against the Miz at Royal Rumble (Super-Duper Face vs. Super-Duper Heel…YIPEEE…ha…not!) playing off the whole “He’s been put through hell by the Nexus all year. They cost him the WWE Championship. He’s even been fired. But now, John Cena finally gets a chance at the WWE Title” Then you have The Miz talk about how John Cena’s had the worst year of his career, whereas The Miz has had the best, blah-blah-blah-forget it!. But I would LOVE it if Christian returned and won the Royal Rumble, setting up Edge vs. Christian in a program for Wrestlemania! Both winners of Rumble matches, former partners, best friends finally realising their dream by facing each other at in the main event of Wrestlemania! Wrestling news websites have insider scoops that WWE have plans for Edge to turn heel (yet again). But imagine that this time, on SmackDown, best friends and Wrestlemania opponents are finally going to reunite in a tag team match! But during the match, Edge walks out of the match as Christian goes for the tag, effectively turning him heel! Nice set up! :D I mean, who else is Edge going to face at Wrestlemania…???

RAW
1.	John Cena
2.	CM Punk
3.	David Otunga
4.	Heath Slater
5.	Justin Gabriel
6.	Michael McGillicutty
7.	Husky Harris
8.	John Morrison
9.	Sheamus
10.	Daniel Bryan
11.	Mark Henry
12.	Ted DiBiase
13.	R-Truth
14.	Tyson Kidd
15.	Santino Marella

SMACKDOWN
1.	Big Show
2.	Kane
3.	Kofi Kingston
4.	Wade Barrett
5.	Jack Swagger
6.	Dashing Cody Rhodes
7.	Rey Mysterio
8.	Alberto Del Rio
9.	Christian
10.	Drew McIntyre
11.	Tyler Reks
12.	Chris Masters
13.	Chavo Guerrero
14.	JTG
15.	Ezekiel Jackson

*Expect Triple H to return and take someone’s spot.
