Hey guys, Mr.Turtle back again after an extended hiatus doing my exams, and I've decided to do another classic matches seeing as I have more spare time on my hands (currently on study leave). For the time being I intended on doing these blogs at odd times until I've completed all my exams. Expected these to be more weekly after that. But anyway . . .

Let's get on with the match . . .

Owen Hart vs Bret Hart, Wrestlemania X

Build Up:
This match began when Bret Hart and Lex Luger both won the royal rumble. As a result, they both would get a world title shot at Wrestlemania X. To decide who would challenged first they did a coin toss. However, there were some stipulations, if Bret won the coin toss Luger would have to face Crush before his shot, but if Luger won, Bret would face Owen beforehand. Obviously Luger won the toss otherwise this blog would be Classic Matches #2: Lex Luger vs Crush, and who would want that?

Anyway, Bret was scheduled to face Owen before his WWF title match, Bret's feud with Owen began back at Survivor Series of '93, when Owen and Bret were in a traditional elimination match (as a team), Bret suffered an injury (not legitimate). Owen was in the ring and ran into Bret, this allowed Owen to get eliminated. Owen was pissed and confronted Bret about it,Owen started asking for a match with Bret, Bret refused. They eventually "reunited" to face the Quebecers at Royal Rumble 1994. Bret got injured AGAIN (not legit, once again) and the referee called the match and Owen was pissed AGAIN, he then attacked his brother. Owen then began talking about Bret being selfish and holding him down, thus what led to this match . . .

The Match:
The first match between Bret and Owen was the curtain Jerker at the 10th 'mania:

Opinion:
I can safely say that this match is, not only phenomenal, but easily the best curtain jerker ever. A truly great match that has been slightly over-shadowed by another match on the card (Michaels vs Ramon is what i'm talking about of course) simply because of that matches impact on wrestling. In my opinion, i'd happily rate this match over that one simply for the superior storytelling involved. I think my rating for this is relatively obvious, so i'll get it over and done with. For one of the best 'Mania matches I've seen I comfortably rate this match *****.

It should be noted that this is my first 5 star rating, hopefully there will be more to come.

Aftermath:
Owen won the King of the Ring at the next PPV (this would give him the moniker 'the king of Harts'), this eventually lead to Bret and Owen having a rematch in a cage at Summerslam of that year. At Survivor Series Owen cost Bret the title to Bob Backlund of all people when he persuaded their mother to throw in the towel on Bret's behalf. Owen the cost Bret the title at Royal Rumble '95 when he interfered in Bret's match with Diesel. Own then remained in the tag team ranks for the most part whilst Bret remained in and around the world title scene. It's a shame really Owen was world title material, shame he never really got a chance to prove it.

Anyway, thats it for Classic matches #2, i'll see you til #3. Be sure to leave a comment on my profile or in the comments, your feedback is very much appreciated :D.

Hey guys, Mr.Turtle here again after a long while. Schools been a bit time consuming and i'm in my final year of exams. But I've managed to find time to come up with a new concept. This concept is fairly basic, I review a popular match from past years and describe the follow up, aftermath and give an opinion on it (as well as a video/s of the match for your own pleasure). This is a trial run so your comments on how I can improve would be very much appreciated. But anyway . . .

Let's get on with the match . .

Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit vs Edge & Rey Mysterio, No Mercy 2002

Build up:
This match was, of course, the finals of the inaugural Tag Team Championship tournament on the Smackdown brand. This being part of the brief, but brilliant, Smackdown six era most matches were of a good to decent quality. The main three tag teams of the tournament were the wrestlers that made up the Smackdown six, who put on great matches weekly, Los Guerrero's, Angle & Benoit, and Edge & Mysterio were seen as the front runners of the tournament and it was proven when Edge & Rey guaranteed their place in the final as the Guerrero's and Angle/Benoit were placed against each other in the semi-final.

One of the main aspects of the build-up to this match was whether or not Angle and Benoit could work cohesively as a tag team, because of their competitive nature. It would seem as though they couldn't, but with (then GM) Stephanie McMahon's threat to suspend them without pay for the year, they soon got working together (well, sorta). This then led to the semi-finals match between Angle/Benoit and the Guerrero's, where Benoit hinted at turning on Angle by using the steel chair, but he quickly swerved and attacked the Guerrero's earning him and Angle a place in the finals.

The Match:
This then led to the match to the PPV match to crown the first Tag Team Champions:

Opinion:
If you just saw (or have seen) the match you know it's simply fantastic and an almost scary diffidence to the matches put on by tag teams today. The reason for this is due to the fact that the tag team division is an afterthought to Vince, with tag teams made up of brothers/jobbers/or mid-carders which creative have nothing for (see: Kingston, Kofi and Truth, R). It truly is a shame, because matches like these should really be shown to Vince in an attempt to make him realize that the tag team division can be of use. It really frustrates me when 10 years ago from this darn good match, that the crowd was into, the tag team division is rarely featured on PPV and is usually performed without any interest/care from the crowd.

Overall, the match was a near-perfect blend of psychology/intensity/and tag-teaming that nearly gets close to hitting the mark in terms of me rating it *****. But, notice the fact that I put near, the reason for this is that something is missing for me that is just stopping it getting 5 stars. I'm not sure what it is, but something is needed to get the top score. As a result, i'll leave it at ****3/4.

Aftermath:
Edge & Rey would win the titles soon after in a 2/3 falls match before the Los Guerrero's got in on the action at survivor series (and won) in a match that didn't (or couldn't) live up to standards. Angle won the WWE title at Armageddon leading to a great match between him and Benoit at the Royal Rumble. Angle won and moved on to feud with Brock, whilst Edge got injured; Rey moved to the crusierweights; and Benoit became an upper-midcarder before winning the rumble. And thus the Smackdown six era was over. In my opinion, a WWE brand hasn't been that good (on a weekly basis) since the era (although the Summer of Punk 2 could argue that) and it's a shame, if not a little scary, that WWE have been unable to reach (or match) that peak in 10 years.

If you could please leave comments on your opinions they'd be much appreciated and if there's a match you'd recommend, please feel free to say and I may or may not use it :D.

But anyway guys thanks for reading my blog and i'll ,hopefully, do classic matches #2 in about a weeks time.

Hi guys, Mr.Turtle here and I've decided to try a new blog concept which should hopefully be a weekly thing if all goes well and people want to watch/read it.

So the idea is to present two (potentially three) wrestling videos a week from the web (youtube)and well . . . go through them.

Once again, think of this as a pilot on TV, if all goes well and people like it, i'll make it a weekly thing. If no one likes it, i wont do it.

But anyway lets get on with the first video . . .

Ok, i'm not going to lie, I pretty much got a six-pack from laughter at this 23 second clip. The thing I love so much about this, is the interviewer (not sure whats his name) because as soon as freight train says "On ma Smooth Belleh". You can just see him begin to crack up and well, corpse. For those who have been on http://botchamania.com/ you might of saw this on one of Maffew's blogs (thats how I found it), but for those who haven't you really have been missing out (I watch this daily). A comment on this video says that Freight Train (the Promo specialist) is a splice of Forrest Gump and Cleveland Brown. However I think they included this guy too.

Next video now, and I really couldn't include videos on amazing promos (for all the wrong reasons) without including the man, the myth, the legend that is Scott Steiner.

God Steiner is Smooth (like a bed of nails is comfy). There are an ungodly amount of Steiner videos (rightly so) throughout the web and picking one was difficult. Why this one I hear you ask, to be honest I don't know why, but if you want a bigger hoot and a holler click on captions (the CC button); click on it again; go up to transcribe audio; wait for it to load up OK, then press it; profit? (SIDENOTE: you MUST watch this on youtube to do this, just click on the youtube icon on the video).

Of course, like crack cocaine, Scott Steiner's promo's are a deadly addiction. So for those who crave for another stiff (or snort) of Steiner genius, here you go.

The math is, oddly enough, correct which is the only bit of continuity from TNA I've seen all my life. Remember that captions thing I told you to do in the other Steiner video? Well try it in this one (if you're computer hasn't gone into overload trying to understand Steiner's unique dialect) you wont be disappointed.

So guys thats the Youtube extravaganza done, please feel free to tell me what to think on my member page or the comments below. And also, if there's a video you would like me to review/present. Link it below, and if it's used, i'll give you the credit.
So thanks for reading/watching/enjoying(?) my blog and i'll (possibly) see you next Saturday/Sunday.

I apologize for over-blogging, but doing this in under 4 parts is looking pretty impossible. As an example the whole European title and the two segments after that were apart of part 1 but it was a 1753 characters over, so it's on part 2 now. But anyway lets get on with the review (trying to keep the intros short, sorry) . . .

WWF European Title: Test vs. Eddie Guerrero (w/ Perry Saturn)
Eddie is out first, with Saturn, who is wearing the hat to end all hats. Brief package of what happened last Raw is shown. Test is next.Eddie and Test brawl quickly with Test gaining the advantage, getting a flapjack and a nice gutwrench powerbomb. Eddie rolls out the ring now, but Test quickly follows. They brawl outside now. Eddie goes back inside the ring now and gains control, beating up Test on the ring apron and in the corner. Test fights back though, by press slamming Guerrero on the turnbuckle, and following up with a clothesline. Test knocks Eddie down before scoop slamming him. Test goes to the top, but Eddie follows him. Test avoids the hurricanrana. Test gets a top rope elbow. Test charges at Guerrero, but Eddie low-bridges him. This causes Test to get his leg caught in what seems to be a botch. Perry punches Test a few of times, before the ref and Eddie help Test get out of this predicament. Paul. E and J.R do a good job of covering this up though. Once Test is free and on the outside, Eddie continues to beat on Test. Eddie begins to work on the leg of Test. Back in the ring Eddie is targeting the leg of Test, Eddie manages to drop his weight on the leg. Test begins to fight back now, but Eddie gets in a sleeper to stop Test's momentum. Eddie then gives up the sleeper (that made no sense). Test comes back with a tilt-a-whirl slam. They both get up now, with Eddie gaining the advantage until Test gets a powerbomb. Eddie fights out the corner but gets stuck in a full nelson. Eddie low-blows Test to get out though, out of the ref's sight. Eddie distracts the ref, that allows Perry Saturn to get a fishermans suplex on Test. Eddie gets a brainbuster, he misses the frog splash but rolls out of any damage into a big boot and a pump-handle slam. Test knocks Saturn of the apron and gets a close 2 count. Saturn comes in again but gets big booted by Test and delivers the same to Eddie. Dean Malenko breaks up the pin and gets decked by Test as a result. Test turns around and gets hit with the title belt by Eddie for the pin at 8:32. To celebrate Eddie gets to wear Saturn's awesome hat. Good match hear that is probably worth **3/4. However factor in Perry's awesome hat and i'll give it ***. Yes I just gave an extra 1/4* for a hat but if you saw it you'd understand.

Interview with Foley now as he promises to call the Shane vs. Vince match fairly.

Austin is shown in his dressing room now to a nice pop.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit.
Kurt comes out first and runs his mouth on the state of Texas. Benoit is out next, and this thing is ready to get underway. Couple of collar and elbow tie-ups now. Which leads to a lovely sequence of wrestling maneuvers, which people cheered, always nice to see people appreciate technical wrestling. They go back to the technical wrestling now and get back to their feet again. The crowd claps again which is good to see. Angle throws Benoit and they both continue technical wrestling. They both get back up and go straight to the technical wrestling again, Benoit goes for the crossface but Angle scrambles to the ropes. They go back to some more technical wrestling now as Benoit, once again, goes for the crossface, but Angle scrambles to the ropes again. Kurt rolls out the ring now before going back inside and continuing the technical wrestling, Benoit tries for the crossface again, but Kurt scrambles to the ropes. Again. Benoit argues with the ref now until Kurt decks Chris to end the long (perhaps too long) chain of mat-based wrestling.

Kurt takes it outside now, where he works on Chris on the outside. Kurt whips Benoit into the steps and places him back in the ring. Kurt gives Benoit a nice suplex and then a back suplex to Chris. Kurt begins to work on Chris in the corner, stomping him and elbowing Chris in the throat. Back in the ring now as Kurt gets chopped by Benoit before answering back with a belly-to-belly suplex. Kurt gives Benoit another belly-to-belly now, but Benoit fights back getting a clothesline. Both up now, they begin to trade blows in the corner. Benoit reverses an Irish whip into a knee into the abdomen. Benoit gains the upper-hand now. Chris gets the reverse elbow and then a snap suplex. Benoit gets the superplex on Angle which gets a two count. Kurt gets whipped into the corner before a couple of German suplexes. Angle reverses the third German and goes for the ankle lock, but Benoit scrambles to the rope. Angle drags Benoit into the middle to try and get the ankle lock, but Benoit reverses it into an ankle lock of his own. Kurt fights out though before getting caught in a crossface. Angle, however, reverses it into a crossface of his own, Benoit manages to get to the ropes though. Angle accidently knocks out the ref and Benoit gets in another crossface which causes Angle to tap, but the ref is still knocked down (talk about over-selling). Chris goes to check on the ref, but is given an Angle slam by Kurt which gets a close 2 count. Benoit gets the knees up to Kurt's moonsault (which i'm pretty sure has a 0% success rate). Benoit gets a diving headbutt for another close 2 count before Benoit waistlocks Kurt. Angle low blows out of it though and it eventually leads to a roll-up by Angle (who grabs the tights)for the 3 at 14:20. Not the best of endings, but overall a solid match that ticks most of the boxes ****.

Segmentmania continues now. As Regal, who got beat earlier on, is interviewed by Michael Cole about his loss. Regal heads to his room where Kamala is on his table . He rubs his belly a bit before leaving. Okay.

We then get another clip (really?!?) of when WWF superstars went to Fort hood Killen,Texas. This would've been better as just an extra. I think it is actually.

Interview with Angle next. He talks about how he doesn't respect Benoit and brags about how he beat him. Benoit attack Angle and makes him tap in the crossface to prolong the feud.

WWF Women's Title: Ivory vs. Chyna.
Hype package of how this match happened is shown. the champ Ivory is out first, before Chyna is out. Chyna pushes the ref away, allowing Ivory to hit Chyna with the belt without getting caught. Ivory stomps on Chyna before delivering the elbow to the neck of Chyna. Ivory continues to work on Chyna's neck before Chyna catches a kick from Ivory and throw her. Chyna beats up Ivory in the corner and gives Ivory a terrible hip toss. She eats a couple of clotheslines and a big back body drop. Ivory gets powerbombed and breaks the ref's count at 2 to press slam Ivory and that gets the 3 and a new womens champ at 2:38. Sloppy match here that was really a waste of time 1/4*.

In the back, Vince prepares for his match and orders Trish to up Linda's medication. Linda still manages to not smile. Michael Cole comes in and Vince continues to hype his match with Shane.

Hype package shows, chronicles the McMahon saga. Such as: Shane buying WCW and Vince's affair with Trish.

Street Fight: Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon(w/ Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley) .
Shane is out first. He gives a shout out to the WCW mid-carders who were stupid enough to show up. They all look pretty bored. Shane then introduces Mick Foley as the special guest referee. Vince is out next. Vince slaps Shane and brings the fight to Shane, beating him in the corner. Shane punches Vince in what looks like the nuts, but Vince no-sells it. Vince continues to beat Shane in the corner. Shane starts to fight back getting a clothesline and a spear. Shane continues to beat up Vince forcing Steph to try and stop Shane. Shane gets slapped by Steph and she runs. Shane baseball slides Vince and continues to beat up Vince on the outside. Shane chokes out Vince with a rope and throws him into the steps. Shane jumps on the barricade and clotheslines Vince. Vince is thrown into the barricade before he goes smack-happy with a kendo stick on Vince. Shane starts to deliver jabs to Vince and eventually drops him. Vince continues to take a pounding as Shane hits Vince with a monitor and places Vince on the table. Shane goes for a top rope elbow drop onto Vince but misses and lands on the table. Linda and Trish come down now as Trish slaps Vince, turning face in the process. Trish and Steph now fight, Mick tries to break it up, but Steph slaps him. He allows them to continue all the way to the back. Vince then stares at Linda and goes for her, but Foley breaks it up. Mick tries to get Linda to safety, but Vince jumps him and decks him with a chair. Vince places Linda in the corner and he brings Shane back in. Vince hits Shane with a few times with some trashcans before Linda stands up and kicks Vince in his nuts to a loud pop. Mick comes back in now and beats Vince into the corner before Shane places a trashcan on Vince and does a coast to coast for the pin at 14:11. Wasn't the best wrestling match but the fans, drama and ending made up for that. Overall surprisingly entertaining ***3/4.

We then see a clip of fan axxess and the Hardyz hyping up their TLC match.

Segmentmania continues now, as we now see Taker and HHH preparing for their match.

Well thats part 2 done look out for part 3 and 4 tomorrow, thanks for reading and as always feel free to comment on my blogs and profile page and tell me what you think of my reviews :D.

Hello me again back with another review. This time it's a pretty major one to say the least, widely considered one of the best PPV events of all time Wrestlemania X-seven. Now i'm going to keep this pretty brief because this is a 11 match card, and including extras it's going to be tough to keep this within 3 parts.

But lets get on with the card . . .

Hype package hits and it basically tells us one thing. The whole word is united for their love of Wrestlemania. It shows us memorable clips from previous events and people all over the world enjoying them. It's a pretty good way to exaggerate the spectacle that is Wrestlemania.

The pyro hits and J.R and Paul Heyman welcome us to Houston, Texas in a packed Astrodome. Cuts to WWF New York and that looks packed as well. You can tell this is going to be big.

Curtain Jerker, Intercontinental Title: Chris Jericho vs. William Regal.
Y2J comes out first. Regal is next. Hype package shows how this match happened. It even shows the popular tea pee skit. Back in the ring now and Regal takes the fight to Jericho before Y2J gets a clothesline. Jericho continues to take control with a flying forearm. Jericho gets a spinning heel kick, Regal goes outside but Jericho lands a crossbody on Regal (he didn't get all of it). Back in the ring Jericho gets a top-rope elbow for a close 2 count. Jericho and Regal engage in a nice little sequence that ends with Regal fighting out of a Walls of Jericho attempt. Jericho goes shoulder first into the ring post twice before Regal begins to pinpoint the left shoulder of Y2J, Getting him caught in a overhead wristlock. Jericho fights out though and drops Regal with a reverse elbow which leads to a lionsault attempt, which Regal blocks by getting his knees up. Regal goes for the roll-up but only gets a two. Regal gets a nasty looking German Suplex now and he removes the top rope turnbuckle. He then sends Jericho shoulder first into the exposed turnbuckle twice. Regal continues to work on Jericho but Y2J fights back with an enziguri and a dropkick. Jericho begins to fight back now getting a missile dropkick, but misses a splash in the corner. Regal gets a double underhook suplex off the top and goes for a back suplex which is reversed by Y2J into a Walls of Jericho but Y2J can't get it because of his shoulder injury. Regal takes advantage and gets a Regal stretch. Jericho gets to the ropes though. Jericho begins to fight back getting in chops but is soon stopped by Regal, who continues to target the shoulder. Regal goes into the exposed turnbuckle though and Y2J gets a bulldog, Suplex and a lionsault for the win at 7:08. Solid opener, which could've done with more time. Jericho did a good job selling and overall i'll give it a **3/4. With more time this would be a comfortable ***+ match, but it wasn't given more time which is a shame.

We then see a WCW 1 licence plate on a limo. It is revealed to be Shane O Mac, who gets a nice face pop (?), even though he is the owner of WWF's arch nemesis.

We then see the APA, who reminisce about all the things that have happened in the Astrodome. They get fired up and go to get ready for their match.

Right to Censor (w/ Steven Richards) vs. The APA (w/ Jackie) and Tazz
RTC come out first to some MAJOR heat. Tazz and APA are next. RTC goes straight after Tazz and APA, brawling with them before they get to the ring. Tazz brings Val into the ring and clotheslines him back out. Steven tries to get involved but he ends up eating a DDT from Jackie. Val jumps Tazz from behind, before Bull and Faarooq get this match underway. Bull gets a clothesline from the top, but gets scoop slammed by Faarooq. Tazz tags himself in and begins to work on Bull, even getting in a suplex. However, Bull gives Tazz a big boot and tags in Val. Val works on Tazz getting a Russian leg sweep. Val tags in the Goodfather and they double-team him (Tazz looks out of it). Tazz gets scoop slammed and the Goodfather gives him a big legdrop. Tazz gets back suplexed now and charges Tazz in the corner. He misses the splash though, and Tazz gets a hot-tag to Bradshaw. Bradshaw big boots the Goodfather and gives him a sloppy big back body drop. Bradshaw takes out the other RTC members, giving Val a fallaway slam. Faarooq saves Bradshaw from Bull, before double-teaming Val. Bull comes back in and works over Faarooq as Bradshaw gives Val a back suplex from the top. Bull and the Goodfather double-team Bradshaw now, before Faarooq knocks Buchanan out the ring. The Goodfather tries to charge Bradshaw in the corner but misses, that leads to a clothesline from Bradshaw for the 3 at 3:56. Short match here that was too short to warrant me to get annoyed at a certain aspect of the match. But it did feel like a bit of a filler. i'll give it a *1/4. It was too short to give it higher than that.

We then see Stephanie McMahon as she greets Trish and a sedated Linda. Steph talks to Linda, who I have no idea how she can keep a straight face, and tells Trish to set up a celebration party after Vince beats Shane. Steph tells Trish to break ice in her hand with a spoon. How meticulous of her.

WWF Hardcore Title, Triple Threat: Raven vs. Kane vs. The Big Show.
Raven is out first, with a trolley full of goodies. Kane is next. He and Raven brawl before The Big Show comes out. Kane press slams Raven onto him, but Show catches Raven. Kane breaks it up though getting a top rope clothesline onto Show. Kane uppercuts Raven into the crowd as Kane quickly follows. Big Show big boots Kane as Raven continues to escape. Kane and Show now brawl as the cameramen get continually sandwiched between rabid fans. Seriously put a camera near a bunch of wrestling fans at a PPV and they practically foam at the mouth. Anyway, Kane and Show continue to fight through the crowd as Kane Irish whips Show into the wall. Raven then reappears and goes smack-happy on Kane via a sign. Kane fights back though and Chucks him into the cardboard wall that leaves a dent. Raven sells it. That was kinda ridiculous and lack of realism really annoys me. Show comes back now and scoop slams Kane onto some wood. Show locks himself, Raven and the ref in a storage area (?). Kane breaks the lock with ease (once again brilliant realism) and hits Show with a broom and Show acts like he has just been stabbed. Kane brawls with Show as Raven chokes Kane with a hosepipe. Kane fights out though and charges Rave into the metal mesh and it pretty much collapses. Who built the Astrodome, because it seems to be falling to pieces. Kane fights Raven out the storage area now and begins to choke Raven now. Raven gets thrown into the side and then the window(!) of a room in an awesome spot. Show is back now as he kicks Kane and whips him into the door which nearly gives way (thats more believable). Show clotheslines Kane to break the door off its hinges (forget my last bracket). Kane and Show both try to chokeslam each other as they fall through a wall (The Astrodome might as well be a house of cards). Raven comes back now, attacking Show with a flimsy table. Raven and Show then hop on a buggy being quickly followed by Kane and the ref. This spot was meant to go throughout all of the stadium but Raven fell into a gap into the side and couldn't get the buggy back on course. Apparently it was also an inch away from the meant circuit that powers the stadium. So if the buggy was an inch in front, Raven would be responsible for the first (?) wrestlemania blackout. Anyway, once out of the buggy Raven gets partly run over by Kane to redeem the failed spot. All 3 of the men brawl, Show claims another victim, Diet Peach Snapple, much to the chagrin of Heyman. All 3 men brawl back to the stage area, where Show goes to press slam Raven off the stage, until Kane boots him. Show and Raven fall of the stage onto conveniently placed crash mats. Kane elbow drops Show for the win at 9:28. realism problems aside this was a fun match that is easily enjoyed. Luckily for this match i'll give it ***. If I was in a worse mood this probably would be less.

We then cut to Kurt who is watching himself tap out. Edge and Christian come in and goof about, Kurt then says he didn't technically tap out because it wasn't an actual match. E&C are doubtful but Kurt persuades them. Huh never known Kurt Angle to have an ego.

We see a clip of Jimmy Snuka enjoying WWF New York.

Another segment now, as Jonathan Coachman interviews a woman in Australia. Riveting.

We then see The Rock enter his changing room. Is this Wrestlemania or Segmentmania?

Well thats part 1 (of most likely 4) done. As always, please check my previous reviews. My last review is linked here:

Yay part 3 is coming up and to those who are intrested. It wasn't up yesterday because of two reasons :
1. I was busy yesterday and had an impromptu dinner out with my family
2. My precious Google Chrome keeps crashing and I can't fix it. Forcing me to download Internet Explorer 9 (which takes 15-20 minuets) just to get the blog up.

But enough of my whining lets get on with the review . . .

Last Man Standing: Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley) vs. Chris Jericho
Highlight package of how this started at King of The Ring and how it escalated from there. HHH comes out with Steph first and Y2J is next. They brawl in the ring and Y2J gets the advantage quickly. Jericho knocks HHH out the ring and they brawl outside. Back in the ring, Jericho takes control until Hunter gives a nice facebuster and clotheslines him out the ring. HHH starts to target the injured ribs of Jericho. Back in the ring HHH is in control continuing to target the injured ribs of Jericho. HHH removes some of the tape around Jericho's ribs and chokes him with it. HHH works on the back of the ribs now before taking it outside and letting Steph get a couple bitch slaps on Y2J for funsies. HHH suplexes Jericho on the entrance way and breaks the count by picking Y2J up and bringing him back in the ring. Jericho tries to fight back but gets caught up in an abdominal stretch. Choida (the ref) gets a little angry (maybe he took roids instead?) as HHH holds the ropes for leverage and begins to count (Choida must be too high to realize no DQ's in last man standing). Jericho hip tosses out. Choida, who must be high, has a shoving fight with HHH before Jericho gains momentum and starts to bring the fight to Hunter getting a spinning heel kick. Jericho goes for a lionsault but Hunter gets the knees up and Y2J futher damages his ribs. Y2J eats a DDT and gets applied in a sleeper hold, HHH keeps the hold on and Jericho seems out of it but crawls himself up at the 9. Jericho taunts HHH now and Hunter gets all mad and pedigrees Y2J.

Y2J still manages to get up so HHH fetches a chair and goes right for the ribs before delivering another shot to the back. HHH goes for the pedigree on the chair, but pot-head Choida (those jokes must've gotten old by now) argues with him. He pushes Choida down that allows Y2J to low-blow him. Jericho cracks Hunter in the head causing him to blade. They both get up and brawl and Jericho gets a flying forearm. Jericho gets a missile dropkick and bulldogs Hunter onto the chair. Y2J whips HHH out the ring but get whipped into the steel steps once both are outside. HHH goes for a pedigree on the steel steps but Y2J reverses into a back body drop. They both hit eacho other with monitors then and it nearly ends in a double KO. They both manage to get up and back in the ring where Y2J reverses a pedigree into a walls of Jericho. Hunter reaches the ropes which is pointless because it's no DQ. Jericho realizes that and drags HHH back to the middle. Steph breaks the hold though pulling Y2J's hair and going for a slap that is blocked and Jericho puts Steph in the walls of Jericho(!?!). HHH breaks it up though and they both go outside and Jericho is whipped into the security wall. Hunter gets the sledgehammer and misses Jericho and hits the ring post instead. Y2J slingshots HHH into the ring post and nails him with the sledgehammer. HHH low blows Y2J, who is on the time keepers table (I think anyway) and back suplex him through J.R and Jerry's announcers desk. HHH just gets up before the 10 count for the win at 24:54. This is a very good match. I'm going to give it a ****1/4 because, while the wrestling is good and the crowd is hot, there is now defining moment to which you can identify this match. For example when I think Shane O Mac vs Kurt Angle I think about the footage of the belly-to-belly and the plexiglass. This didn't have that. There was no defining moment to couple the amazing wrestling and crowd.

We are then greeted by a highlight package that proceeds to the main event for tonight . . .

WWF Heavyweight Title: The Rock vs. Chris Benoit (w/Shane McMahon)
Before we start, for anyone who's a little sensitive on the Benoit segment wouldn't want to watch this hype package as it's trying to sell Benoit as this sick, sadistic monster with no emotion or regret to what his actions are, best to avoid that sort of thing if your a little tetchy on the Benoit subject. Also if The Rock gets DQ'ed he losses the title. Benoit and Shane come out in some of Rocky's ripped clothes to add insult to injury. Rocky comes out next and he means business. Shane distracts Rocky though and that allows Benoit to attack The Rock from behind. Rocky fights backs though and fights Benoit to the outside. Rocky takes it ot Benoit and throws him back in the ring. He sees Shane O Mac and chasses him. Shane leads Rocky to Chris but he just steamrolls through him and carries on chasing Shane. Shane leads Rocky to Benoit again. This time Rocky atomic drops him and slingshots him into Shane. The rock goes for a crossface but Benoit scrambles to the outside. Benoit comes back in and gets pummeled by The Rock before getting a gutbuster. Benoit continues to work on Rocky with Shane even getting an elbow in. Rocky and Benoit take it outside now and the camera guy gets a tad too close as Rocky ends up headbutting the the camera. Back in the ring now, Benoit continues to work on The Rock's abdomen. The Rock fight back though getting a nice kick to the face. I usually don't mention commentry on the review, but J.R and Jerry made an XFL comment that couldn't be ignored, because the XFL failed like Mike Choida fails a drug test (got to stop with the Choida jokes). Anyway, Benoit tries to go to the top but Rocky stops him, getting a top rope back suplex in the process. Shane hands Chris the belt allowing him to clock The Rock (see what I did there) with the title while Shane distracted the ref, It gets a close 2 count. Chris gets a snap suplex for 2 again. Rocky starts to fight back now with a scoop slam but is eventually suplexed. Benoit gets a sharpshooter but Rocky gets to the ropes and the hold is broken. Chris looks for another sharpshooter but Rocky fights out of it. Rocky goes to the outside after he gets whipped and Shane lowers the top rope.

They brawl outside now with Chris getting whipped into the steel steps. Benoit then gets crotched on the post by The Rock before taking it back into the ring. Rocky gets Chris in a figure four now but Shane distracts the ref and nothing happens. Benoit eventually gets to the ropes and manages to get a cheeky nut shot before taking it back outside. Shane gets a clothesline on Rocky whilst Benoit is distracting the ref. Benoit goes outside to work on Rocky before distracting the ref again to clothesline him into the crowd. Benoit gets in the crowd now and Rocky gives him "The Dreaded Drink Of Death". Benoit suplexes Rocky back to the outside before throwing him into the barricade. Back in the ring now Benoit works on The Rock some more. Rocky manages to get a DDT out of nowhere though. Benoit manages to stop Rocky's momentum though with a nice clothesline. Benoit continues to work on The Rock allowing Shane to get more shots by distracting the ref. Benoit gets a neckbreaker on The Rock and they begin to trade blows. The Rock hangs Benoit up on the ropes before getting a close 2 count before Benoit got a foot on the ropes. Benoit gets a scoop slam and a diving headbutt for another close count. Benoit stomps Rocky in the corner until Hebner, the meddling kid, distracts Benoit long enough for Rocky to get a big clothesline. However Benoit returns the favour and fetches a steel chair. Rocky takes Benoit's chair and Earl Hebner talks to Benoit allowing Shane O Mac to go smack-happy (via chair) on Hebners back. Rocky decks Shane and then goes straight for Benoit. Rocky grabs the chair and swings for Shane who runs out the ring. Rocky drops the chair and gets Benoit in the crossface and he taps(?). Earl rings the bell but Benoit wins (?). Of course, Earl saw Rocky with the chair. He thinks Rocky hit him giving Benoit the win and the title via a DQ at 19:28. Shane decks Rocky causing him to blade. Shane and Chris celebrate at the entrance ramp but Mick Foley, ever the party pooper, restarts the match due to how it ended and Benoit gets back in the ring. Rocky brings the fight to Chris but Benoit gets rolling Germans for the two. Benoit takes it to The Rock and goes for the crossface but Rocky scrambles to the ropes. However Benoit brings him back into the middle and manages to get the crossface locked in until Rocky gets to the ropes. Benoit stomps on The Rock until he gets a Rock Bottom out of nowhere for the pin and the finish at 2:19 (21:47 overall). Great match that once again had that lacking defining moment to take it to the upper echlon of matches, but it was still good though and very well worked a comfortable **** from me.

Extras:
Once again just a wrap up show nothing to shout about but with the tagged classics set (like I've already said) I can't complain.

The Rating:
This, In my Opinion, event has a worse undercard than Judgement Day 2000. Factor in the poor Angle vs Taker and i'll give it an 8.5 maybe 8.75 if I was in a happy mood (but i'm not because my bloody Google Chrome wont work ). So grade wise it's a B+ and if you average out both it's in limbo between B+ and A- however factor in the fact it's a 2 PPV event for the price of 1. I'll give this an A- and a solid recommendation for you all to buy.

Next Review:
My next review will be on the 27th and the 28th of August. I'll alert you of any schedule change on my profile page. Also i'm 15 on Sunday. I thought i'd let you know because im super freaking excited :D But until the next review leave a comment and thanks for reading, It's much appreciated.

Hi there, me again with the second part of this review. As always if you haven't already read part 1 I suggest you do that first, otherwise, lets get on with part 2.

WWF Tag Team Titles: Edge & Christian vs. The APA
E&C come out first and talk smack about Dallas. They even mention the JFK assassination, which was probably a tad too much. APA then comes out and Bradshaw cuts a promo which is fairly good, albeit a little shouty, but it had good emotion. Anyway APA take it to the champs early and Bradshaw hits a fallaway slam from the top before double-teaming Edge. Bradshaw gets a powerbomb. He goes for another but Christian dishes out a missile dropkick to spare Edge. Christian is tagged in and distracts the ref so Edge can work on Bradshaw. Edge is back in now with him and Bradshaw trading punches with Edge gaining the advantage. Bradshaw gets a hot-tag to Farooq who pops a cap in E&C collective ass with power moves. Christian eats a dominator and Edge decks Farooq with a title belt for a DQ at 5:32. E&C retain of course because titles don't change hands via DQ. Pretty bland wrestling for a match that should've been very heated. The champs are jumped by APA and beaten to the back *1/4

At WWF New York (which probably used to be the equivalent of being future endevoured without the cute looking pink slip). The Big Bossman is harrasing the un-washed.

Back in HHH's locker room. Steph realizes that Kurt's name isn't on the card (man that took her awhile). HHH gets frustrated and goes to find the who's behind the card.

Kurt is still being chased by Taker (Man they have awesome cardio). But he manages to go smack-happy with a monkey wrench on Taker's knee allowing him to escape.

Intercontinental Title, Steel Cage match: Val Venis (w/Trish Stratus) vs. Rikishi
Rikishi comes out to a nice pop. One thing I don't understand is why WWF/E turned him heel when he was over as a face, de-push him to near future endevourment (as a heel). Then take him to the mid-card as a face before giving him a pink slip. Maybe thats just me. Brief package on how it ended up like this. Val is out with Trish now (Who's been busy tonight). Val gets in and tries a quick escape but Rikishi quickly takes it to him. Val is thrown into the cage a few times. Rikishi climbs the cage and Val quickly catches up to him but is knocked down. Val tries to get to the cage door whilst Rikishi is going up but Rikishi comes down and pulls Val away. Rikishi then goes for the door but gets chop blocked by Val. Rikishi gets thrown into the cage and Val works on him in the corner. Rikishi fights back though and goes for a stinkface but Val fights out of it. Val gets a terrible looking top-rope bulldog and a big clothesline. Rikishi stops Val climbing up but gets knocked down, Val then does a top-rope elbow drop for 2. Val tries to climb the cage again but Rikishi fight him down and the both fall. Rikishi tries to leave out the door but Val stops him. Rikishi hits the butt splash and fails to leave the cage because of Trish this time. This allows Val to get the splash for a 2 count. Lita comes down know and whips the crap out of Trish with a leather belt all the way to the back. Back in the ring Val and Rikishi are climbing the cage but Val gets knocked off and lands on the ref. Rikishi splashes Val from the top of the cage in an awesome spot that the crowd goes ape doody for. Rikishi slowly heads to the door but Tazz drills him with a camera. Val drapes a hand over for the win at 14:11 decent match that deserved to be on the card. i wasn't a huge fan of the finish though ***1/4

Brief package shown of the Kurt-Taker saga that has happened tonight. we get a brief shot of Taker limping.

Meanwhile, HHH is looking for the guy who sent the flowers to Steph. He goes into the persons locker room and gets jumped. It's revealed that the person was Y2J.

Shane o mac comes out now and he challenges The Rock to a fight. The Rock comes out and lays the verbal Smackdown on Shane until Chris Benoit, the Voldemort of wrestling (sorry if that crappy joke offended anyone), appears on the screen tearing up Rocky's clothes The Rock goes to the back.

We then are greeted with a highlight package that leads us to are next match . . .

Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker
Kurt comes out looking pretty scared, monkey wrench in hand. Taker then comes during Kurt's entrance and they brawl through the crowd. They finally get in the ring and Kurt eats a big boot and a elbow for a 2, in which Taker breaks the count. Taker continues to squash Kurt and throws him outside. Kurt begins to fight back now targeting the leg getting a nice chop block back in the ring. Kurt continues to work the leg and knee area getting Taker stuck in a lock. Taker eventually fights out and gets a chokeslam and a super nasty Last-Ride for the pin at 7:35. This felt like a glorified squash and didn't live up to what I hoped it would be, but maybe thats my fault *1/2

They now show The Rock inspecting the damage his precious T-shirts have endured. It was nice of Chris to leave one un-touched though.

And thats Part 2 done and dusted. Look forward to part 3 tomorrow and as always comment on what you think and/or what you want me to review. I could review King of The Ring/Invasion 2001 on a later date if you want me to, as I ordered it today. Tell me what you think in the comments as they are appreciated and i'll see you tomorrow.

Hi there, me again with another review. I just got back from holidays from Turkey (my dad tricked me, he told me Spain) and camping in sunny England. It's pretty safe to say they've been eventful. And for those (i'd imagine only a select few) who were wondering no review on the 9th and 10th take this as the reason why: http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/170-s...ail/story.html and even if you did read the explanation take this as the reason why. It's a lot cooler because I was on that plane.

But let's get on with the review.

Decent opening package hyping the major matches. The running theme throughout this package is Gambling.

The pyro hits and J.R and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Dallas, Texas for Fully Loaded.

Curtain Jerker, Intergender Tag: Test, Albert & Trish Stratus vs. The Hardyz & Lita
T&A come out first. As always (during her first heel run) Trish looks like she has just bathed in baby oil before the match. We are given a video package of how this match happened before the faces come out and take the fight to T&A pretty quick. Matt and Albert are eventually the only two in the ring and they exchange blows and Albert gains an advantage and he and Test double-team Hardy (Matt). Test is in now but he eats a top rope leg-drop from Matt. Jeff then gets tagged in and they double-team Test which looks pretty sloppy as Matt was nowhere near the face of Test when he did a fist-drop. Jeff gets side-walk slammed by Test and I have just noticed a certain Mike Choida is officiating this match, I apologize for getting side tracked but man isn't his suspension kinda amusing. Anyway on with the match, Test gets taken outside before Jeff flies over the top rope on to Test.

Matt then gets tagged in and Test takes control before tagging Trish in who slaps Matt once, but on the second attempt it fails as Trish accidently slaps Test which leads to a roll up by Matt on Trish for the 2. Matt tags in Lita to a big pop but Trish hurries to her corner and tags in Albert. Albert chases Lita and eventually traps in her in the corner forcing the Hardyz to make the save double teaming Albert in the process. Then, in a nice spot, the Hardyz and Lita suplex Trish and Test. Jeff gets press slammed out the ring that allows Albert to take control of the match. Jeff gets double teamed and tries to fight back before Test regains control. Test misses the splash and Jeff gets a tag to Matt who gets pump handle slammed for a 2 which was broken up by a swanton by Jeff. Hot Tag to Lita (!?!) and she gets a tornado DDT on Test and splash onto Albert on the outside before a huracanrana on Test for 2. Test gutwrench powerbombs Lita and tags Trish in for the 2. Trish does a sloppy bulldog on Lita for 2 again. In the corner Lita superplexes Trish. The Hardyz fend off Albert and Test so Lita can get a Moonsault for the 3 at 13:12. Decent opener, Lita gets attacked after the match and whipped by Trish. This was okay, some sloppy moments but nothing too serious. Lita wrestling Test and Albert was a tad silly though ***1/4.

In the back Edge find Mick Foley (commissioner at the time I believe) and claims Christian has food poisoning and, therefore, can't defend the titles. Mick is skeptical to say the least.

We then see Undertaker rollin' in and he finds Kurt. Kurt craps his pants and runs Taker chases him. Kurt escapes. Just.

Tazz vs. Al Snow
Tazz is making his PPV return here. A brief clip of him jumping wrestlers is shown. Al comes out and they begin to fight quickly. Al takes control but Tazz goes outside to recover but is quickly caught by Snow. Back in the ring Tazz takes control until a superkick by Al. Tazz regains control though with a rope-assisted Alabama slam (probably not the name but what it looked like). Al fights back though and gets a guillotine leg drop and a moonsault for a 2. Al goes for head but gets chop blocked and eventually gets suplexed by Tazz who goes for a Tazzmission, Al rolls out but Tazz reapplies it for the finish at 5:22. Bland match that shouldn't be on PPV. And if they really wanted to push Tazz as a bad-ass this should've been a squash. Because taking abuse from Al Snow, getting a suplex and a Tazzmission is not how you push a bad-ass *1/2

It then cuts to the back where Mich and a EMT come to check on Christian. The EMT checks his pupils (for FOOD POISONING !!?!) and deems him unfit to wrestle. If anyone has a job relating to medicine can tell me why he checked his pupils for food poisoning that would be great.

Another segment now as HHH and Stephanie are talking and Steph is being given a load of flowers and HHH is getting annoyed so he reads the card with the vast amount of flowers. The card at the end reads "It's true. It's true".

European Title: Eddie Guerrero (w/Chyna) vs. Perry Saturn (w/Terri)
Why is that bald bozz-wonk Perry Saturn in this match and not Dean Malenko?
Eddie and Chyna are out first as a brief package was shown what happened on the previous Smackdown. Perry and Terri are out now but Chyna clotheslines Perry and chases Terri away. Eddie gets Perry in the ring and work on him. Perry gets knocked outside and Chyna clotheslines him and throws him back in the ring. Eddie hits a huracanrana of the top rope before getting an Armbar. Saturn goes outside again and Chyna punches him before Eddie jumps from the top rope onto him. Back in Eddie gets another rana. Eddie gets powerbombed though before fighting back with a tornado DDT, Perry seems to have a small cut on the top of his dome as well. Eddie goes for another rana but its reversed by Saturn. Saturn starts to work on Eddie until Eddie gets Another huracanrana. they trade reversals for suplexes until Eddie reverses Perry's into a roll-up for 2. Saturn blocks ANOTHER rana attempt by Eddie into a powerbomb, really have they got no other moves? Saturn misses a moonsault and Eddie misses a frog splash but rolls to avoid damage but gets planted quickly by Perry. Saturn goes to the top but gets drop-kicked to the outside where Chyna tries to interfere but gets clotheslined through the Spanish announce table(?) by Perry. Slutty MaGee, I mean Terri comes back and Perry decides to use her as a meat shield. Eddie doesn't do anything so he gets kicked in the nads as a result. That allows Perry to bring Eddie back in for an elbowdrop and the win at 8:10. Nothing special here as they just repeated moves and both appeared sluggish to me. Probably would've been best if this was on T.V and not PPV **

In the back Edge and Christian are about to make their great escape until that meddling kid(?) Foley appears. Christian rushes to the toilet where we get a strange angle of him pouring dirty water into the toilet. Mick says they have to defend their titles.

Elsewhere in the arena Kurt, who must've shared a doubie or two with Choida (the cheeky rascal), thought it was a good idea to try and ride Taker's motorcycle. Of course it wasn't as Taker caught him in the act and chased him.

Man I've been busy today, nevertheless on with the third and final part of my Judgement Day 2000 DVD review. I apologize in advance that it wasn't done sooner. I went out to eat.

But lets get on with the main event . . .

WWF Heavyweight Title, Iron Man Match: The Rock vs. Triple H.
Opening Package recaps what happened at Backlash 2000 and the events that led to this hour long marathon. Shawn comes out first in terrible shorts while Jerry & J.R hype the Ironman match and how it's the ultimate way to decide a feud. HHH, sporting fanta orange skin, heads to the ring with the McMahon-Helmsley faction before sending them back because he wants to go it alone. The Rock comes out to a major pop. They stare each other down and go nose to nose, which is a dangerous thing to do for Rocky considering the size of Hunter's nose, they tie up and the hour begins . . .

There's a feeling out process to begin with, Rocky gets a couple of close falls via shoulderblocks and a roll up. HHH leaves the ring to get his bearings, back in he eats a clothesline and leaves the ring again. Once HHH comes back in The Rock controls the match early but HHH soon takes over with a nice clothesline and works on Rocky's arm. Rocky fight back though and hits a Rock Bottom out of nowhere. Rocky is 1-0 up at 11:07

they take it outside the ring now and head up the entrance ramp HHH is taking control until he misses a high knee that allows Rocky to target the knee and locks in the figure four HHH eventually counters it by rolling him and Rocky over. They both make it to the ropes and break the hold. Rocky and HHH take it to the crowd now before getting back in the ring where HHH is in control. Rocky fights back though and Irish whips HHH into the steps before going back to the knee. Rocky goes for another figure four but is kicked into the turnbuckle and pedigreed for a pin at 25:55 to tie it at 1-1.

Rocky is still hurt so HHH goes for a small package for the pin at 26:54 HHH is up 2-1. They fight up the entrance ramp. HHH reverses the suplex. HHH gets backdropped. Shawn wont count as it would end up as a double count-out and not affect the score. Rock continues to fight HHH but takes a facebuster & a piledriver (Don't see that anymore!!!) to allow HHH up 3-1 at 32:50.

Rocky recovers with a clothesline but is soon stopped by HHH. HHH goes to the top rope but is thrown of by Rocky. They trade punches and Rocky gains the upper hand, he gets a near fall with a roll up before they traded punches again. HHH gets a sleeper and uses the ropes for leverage. Shawn notices and breaks the hold. Rocky gets a DDT for the pin at 40:40 It's 3-2 to Hunter now.

The Rock takes it outside. HHH tries to use the chair but is stopped by Shawn. Back in the ring, HHH backs away before grabbing the chair and nailing Rocky at 44:07 3 a piece now. Of course Rock is in loopy land (and he has bladed) so hunter pins The Rock using the rope as leverage at 44:35. The Rock is still dazed so Hunter goes for the sleeper again and The Rock fights out before the hold is reapplied and Rocky is out of it and gives another fall at 48:03 i liked this sequence as it was an intelligent and strategic way to gain/lose falls in and Ironman match it's 5-3 hunter now.

Shawn pulls HHH off to stop anymore damage. Rocky recovers whilst HHH and Shawn are arguing. He then whips HHH out the ring and into the cameraman in a funny botch moment. The Rock brings HHH back into the ring and takes a DDT. HHH gets crotched and superplexed on the top rope. They slowly get up and HHH is clotheslined to the floor and slingshotted into the ring post. HHH reverses and whips Rocky into the steel steps. The rock then reverses the rock bottom into a pedigree on a table that didn't break (i always find that funny as they just kind of slide off of it). Rocky crawls back into the ring as HHH gets counted out (he blades as well) to go 5-4 at 56:08.

The McMahons come back now, as HHH just gets back in before another 10 count. Rock hits a DDT and spine buster (hitting Shane and Vince in between the two moves) that sets up the peoples elbow for the 3 at 58:05 it's 5 all now and starting to get real tense.

Shawn takes out Shane and Vince outside the ring as DX interfere on behalf of HHH as the creepy demonic children who sing nursery rhymes appear again with a returning Undertaker coming and cleaning house of everyone (except Rocky) in the ring. Of course he's the ginger Bikertaker here which was the first time this gimmick was done by taker. Taker then goes for Stephanie then (who was current womens champion) HHH comes to the rescue and takes a chokeslam which Shawn notices for a DQ at 59:55 ish i think which gets a 6-5 win for Hunter. What can i say a phenomenal match that was only slightly hampered by the overbooked and slightly botched end which wont effect my rating as this is more than worthy of ****1/2 awesome main event and very well put together and thought of. SIDENOTE: another thing i forgot to mention i don't get why they were building what Shawn was going to do if he called it fairly. A little mention on commentary would've been enough for the PPV.

Extras:
Not much just a wrap up show but when it comes to tagged classics (2 Events for the price of 1) i tend not to complain. A simple wrap up show which is fine even featuring Gerald Brisco who was awfully busy tonight.

Overall i'd give this event a 9.0 out of 10 or a grade equivalent (by my marking anyway) of A-. The lost point came from Shane o mac vs The Big Show and the Gerald Brisco saga. I certainly recommend this and with the addition of Fully Loaded 2000 as well at a price of £7.99 online it's an absolute steal.

The next review will be on the 9th or 10th of August as i will be on holiday from tomorrow with my Dad and Sister (in Spain). The one after that should be the 19th or 20th as i have another holiday in Devon on the 11th for a week (the 21st is my 15th Birthday) i will alert you if this does change on my account. If you've read all of these i thank you greatly as this took me 5 hours to do. If there's a certain PPV u want me to do notify me (via blogs or my account) and i shall see if i have it (can get it), but anyway have a great day/night and be sure to comment on what you think of the blogs/review

Hi this is the second part of my Judgement Day 2000 DVD review. I recommend that you read first part of my review if you haven't. If you have glad you're reading Part 2 :D.

Ok so lets get on with it . . .

Falls Count Anywhere: The Big Show vs. Shane McMahon
Brief hype package showing how this came about (Shane was disappointed in Show's goofing around. Show cried.) and really did a good job building this as a major match. Big Show waddles to the ring as Shane jumps over the top rope to dive on show. But he catches Shane and slams him into the ring post. Show commences the ass-kicking (literally at one point) until Big Bossman comes out and goes all nightstick happy on show until show powerbombs him. Test, Trish Stratus and Albert (T&A) are out next and Trish low blows Show. He no-sells it and throw Trish outside the ring at the other members of T&A.

Meanwhile 'Simba' (what Jerry was calling Shane during the match it gets annoying after a while) crawls like a baby to the entrance ramp until show catches up to him and throws him at the stage which he did previously which peeved me a little (they showed it in the hype package). show gets roughed up a little by Shane and T&A but fights back to stop Shane essentially doing a high spot. Bull Buchanan makes the save for Shane and traps show's leg Shane then gets a CEMENT cinder block and cracks it on Show head to make it worse the cinder block crumbled like BP shares after a gulf of Mexico oil spill rendering the whole spot (match) rather pathetic pin at 7:13 ish I didn't like this match since it had no new major spots, felt like a 6 on 1 handicap match; and a frankly ridiculous spot with a supposed cement cinder block i'll leave it at 3/4* and not discuss it again.

Meanwhile in the land of ridiculous WWF comedy Mr.Brisco is hiding in a room with two refs. He closes his eyes for a couple of seconds and the refs creep towards him. he opens his eyes and sees them he goes Ape doody and runs.

Cuts to Shawn and HHH talking. Hunter is looking very orange.

Intercontinental Title, Submission Match: Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho.
A little Hype Package that does a real good job of highlighting how good each man's submission finisher is by showing a montage of some established names tapping to the hold. on the last Smackdown Hardcore Holly attacked Chris Benoit and injured his knee. Not sure if anything materialized from this. Before we begin any review of a DVD i do (if i do anymore). I shall review every match on the card. I thought now would be a good time to mention this as some people find Chris Benoit a very sensitive subject and I understand that, however i feel it's the right thing to review every aspect of a DVD if you are doing a review of it.

Moving on . . . Benoit takes control of the match early until Jericho locks in a Fujiwara Armbar. they exchange reversals until Benoit lands a shoulderbreaker that fits in nicely with the stipulation of the match. Benoit continues to attack the shoulder using a diving headbutt before getting spring board drop kicked on to the floor. Meanwhile, Val Venis gives a T.V a scary stare for the cameras. Jericho gets Irish whipped into the steel steps but Jericho fights back by dropping Benoit's injured knee on it. Back in the ring now as Jericho takes charge of the match until Jericho misses a charge and goes shoulder first into the ring post. Benoit goes back to work on Jericho's shoulder. Jericho tries to fight back but gets a well executed snap suplex for his effort. Benoit works on the shoulder some more locking in a cross armlock, Jericho gets to the ropes and breaks the hold before they cut to Hardcore Holly giving another T.V his hardman stare for the cameras.

Jericho gets some more momentum working on Benoit's knee before removing his knee brace and whipping the injured knee with it. Jericho hits the lionsault then does a cool spot where he does a rope assisted walls of Jericho on Benoit. Benoit fights out and hits a two German suplexes before reversing the walls of Jericho into the crippler crossface with the help of the knee brace. The ref eventually stops it because Jericho doesn't submit but is out of it. Benoit retains at 13:28 Great match from beginning to end i was hooked and the ending made both guys look good (Benoit won but Jericho never gave up). All in all it'd be criminal to give less than **** so i'll give ****
In the final installment of the Brisco saga he gets suspicious and attacks food vendors.Riveting.

The Rock confronts Shawn in the next cut scene to increase the intrigue in the match.

Tag Team Table Match: Road Dogg & X-Pac (w/Tori) vs. The Dudley Boyz.
DX come out to there 2000 theme which i like a lot BTW. They show Tori putting Bubba through a table and Bubba giving us his creepy stare off into the distance for the cameras to hype the match. Nothing really noteworthy to start off. Tori distracts the referee to allow the dudleyz to do a "Whatz up?" on X-pac and road dogg. That was smart by Tori. DX try to bail after that but end up getting caught by the dudleyz. Bubba shows Tori his sex pest stare. Devon gets double teamed and gets bronco bustered. Devon gets a hot tag to Bubba after a few minuets of being isolated and double teamed, Bubba cleans house and to the enjoyment of me,the fans and the Dudleyz Bubba screams "get the tables!". Devon eats wood first thanks to road dogg. Then, in a weird moment, X-pac set Devon (who was already eliminated) onto a table stacked in the corner and attempted to bronco buster him, luckily Bubba broke it up, but it would've been amusing to watch. X-pac is powerbombed by Bubba through a table and eliminated leaving Bubba and road dogg left. the ref is thrown through a table. Just for funsies. road dogg is 3-D'd but the ref is out. Smart move Bubba. Gerald Brisco comes out and makes the save for Tori who was nearly powerbombed by Bubba through a table. X-pac does the X-Factor from the top rope to the table for the win at 10:55. Meh **1/4

Some creepy girls sing a nursery rhyme to hype a return of The Undertaker. I think they used it for Judgement Day 2002 as well which i have. If you would like me to review that you can leave a comment below :D. And that's the end of part two i thank you for reading this and i will start part 3 right away.
