I have wriiten a few basic blogs before, but none that involved any complaints. Besides my NXT reviews of course.

Whenever there is an article on this site about some sort of publicity John Cena will get or really anything about Cena, everyone bashes the guy.
But why?

Is it because he is extremely successful, and wealthy?
Is it because he is stronger than about 85% of men?
Do some people feel mad because he is good looking in the eyes of most women?

I am not implying that any one person who reads this blog feels any of those emotions, but sometimes I get a strong impression that that is the way most people, mainly males, feel.
Let's take a look a "Super Cena's" assets:

He is on Top
The man is the top guy in the WWE. He is the top guy in the most powerful wrestling promotion on the planet. Could there be a sense of jealousy felt by most? Let's face it, most people who are wrestling fans have had aspirations of becoming the top dog, but were never able to accomplish it (doesn't need to apply to you). Some people may hate him for having what they never could. I hate to say it, but it is a possibility.

He is Huge
Cena is a massive human being with an incredible amount of muscle. Once again, the jealousy factor may come into play. Maybe you always wanted to be the big muscular man who all the chicks wanted, but never reached full potential. Maybe.

He seems to get almost TOO Much
When his music hits, the crowd will go insane. Why? Because the women and children scream their lungs out. They love him. He has granted the most wishes in the history of Make a Wish. The guy is doing an interview or a talk show every week it seems. He has been in multiple movies. John Cena is a phenomena. It is incredible how much this man has influenced and brought joy to so many people.

Before everyone starts posting their comments, about how I am in love with Cena, wait. I DO NOT like him. Now I'm not being a hypocrite because I hate him, like most people hate The Miz's on screen persona. Besides that, I respect the guy like hell. He is a very lucky guy. I just think that too many people disrespect him because of everything he has recieved and done while they may not have had the same benefits, (may not apply to you). Give the man his due, however. You don't have to like him during Monday Night Raw, but respect him when he is out of the ring. I mean, seriously, what has he ever done to you?

Why are they so effective?

Entrance themes are so effective in so many ways. It's just music that plays while someone enters the ring. At least, on paper that's what it is. Themes get people out of their seats. A whole stadium can go from silent to 11 when some songs hit. Either with boos or cheers.

So what makes them effective?

Really, only certain people have "perfect" themes. In my mind, if the beginning insn't catchy, it sucks. The beginning is the attention grabber. The one that says "He's Here." In addition, the background has to be good too, with clean beats and excellent instrumentals. The singing, if any at all, can't be annoying. No one wants to hear Jillians voice on an entrance theme, so that never happened. . . O wait, it did, and killed millions.
Therefore, my main point was that I have compiled a list of the best entrance themes in the WWE. (No TNA, most of them don't have singing, it seems).

*Please keep in mind, this is opinionated. I based my lists off of beginnings, crowd reaction, and overall likeness.

Best:
10.) Kelly Kelly (Who doesn't like that "Holla Holla"????)
9.) The Hart Dynasty (No matter how much people deny it, I think everyone still thinks Bret's coming out; so the pop is HUGE)
8.) Drew McIntyre (It's so obnoxious, it's Awesome)
7.) Cody Rhodes (No one likes him, so having a loud Whoa at the start makes it that much sweeter)
6.) R-Truth (It's new, but I like it. Great base, good lyrics. Not gonna lie, I get excited when I hear it)
5.) The Miz (AWWWWWWWESSSSOME)
4.) Edge (Probably could be number one, but some songs fit the judging better)
3.) Nexus (One of the most hated factions of all time, and their song is like a big flag that waves in your face just to get a rise out of you. Epic)
2.) Randy Orton (I think everyone cheers, takes pictures, and sings along when he walks down the ramp)
1.) John Cena (Are you surprised? The bass is magnificent. The noise blows the roof off. It happens every night and Lawler/Cole are still amazed each time)

I know I can't please everybody. I picked 10 of the best in my mind, so criticize how ever you want. Tell me whose I missed, I know I missed a lot of possibilities, so. . . Meet the honorable mentions

CM Punk, Sheamus, Santino (Yea), Christian, Triple H, Kane, Undertaker.

Cue the arguements.

Its the third installment of this, I guess, 12 part series of blog posts. for those of you that have read my past 2, you know what I do. for those of you who are reading this for the first time, I am going to give my very observatory view on NXT from this week.

To start out, it got an 0.81 rating. Just god awful. I believe that is the lowest rating in NXT history, but I may be mistaken. I don't blame SyFy for wanting to stop showing the "Reality Program". It doesn't even deserve to be called that.
NXT became my favorite show to watch when it debuted in February, but as of late, my interest has grown less and less. This weeks episode had no points to make me want to change my mind either.

We start the show with the traditional video package and theme music, followed with a highlight video of the prior weeks episode.
Then comes CM Punk. I had no idea why he'd be there, or what the heck he was wearing, until I saw him approach the announce table. What a breath of fresh air for NXT. Have the Straight Edge Savior take Michael Cole's place on commentary. I was in favor of this move alot, CM Punk is my favorite guy in the WWE. He just seems to know what he's doing, whatever it may be. And he didn't disappoint last night. At least he didn't disappoint me.

O, excuse me, I forgot what happened next. EXCUSE ME!!!!!!! Vickie comes down to the ring and gives Kaitlyn 2 more mentors in LayCool, the Season 2 winning pros. This made more sense to have LayCool with a girl rookie than with a seasoned veteran in Kaval. And when they grabbed the mics, you had no clue what they were going to say. They were cracking on the other rookies left and right, it was pretty funny, I think. But I think alot of things are funny. During that segment comes another tiny brawl, and another moment where I wish I was Matt Striker. A boy can only dream.

Then, WTF!!!!!!?????? A musical chairs competition???????????? "Really? Really? Really? Really? Really?" There is absolutely nothing to say about how childish, stupid, unappropriate, and awkward that was. Except for how my 12 year old brother didn't know what musical chairs was. That seemed embarrassing, but nothing compared to what the WWE made them do. I understand its supposed to be PG, but something tells me its supposed to for ages 7 and under when there's crap like that.

Backstage segment from Aksana and Goldust. Emotional, very emotional. . . NOT! That seemed kind of random, however I do wonder if she is going to be deported. I mean, isn't that kindof like what happened to McIntyre and Barrett earlier this year?

First Match is Maxine vs. AJ. I dont remember much. Just CM Punk mocking Cole with "Vintage Maxine", very funny, and AJ winning with some move that looked like she was being suplexed by Maxine. Like they literally set up in the suplex position but it was a "Brain Buster" by AJ. I don't know, it just seemed like a crappy way to end the match. I was totally confused when it happened.

Then Michael cole returned. O how I hated, but loved this move. It was basically the only time of the night that I was surprised, oh except for the brain buster thing.

Then, finally, a competition to really judge the girls. The talk the talk challenge. Prior winners were Wade Barrett (who got his own walkout music as a prize, when did we ever hear that?) and Percy Watson who won a talk show where the Season 2 guys tried a Nexus attack on the Pros. So this one should definetly reak with benefits. Nope. The girls blew the roof off with all the hot air they wasted when talking about their topics. AJ impressed and got the win. Kaitlyn finished in second by talking about underwear. The crowd voted, so there must've been alot of immature people there. Enough said, the whole thing sucked. It was the only bonafide competition and they made it seem like poop, plain and simple.

The main event was the 3 on 3 tag match, Kelly Kelly, Naomi and Jamie vs. LayCool and Kaitlyn. I don't have any complaints, there wasn't much to expect anyway. I guess though, for NXT season 3, it was a solid Main Event with the faces picking up the win.

Side Note:
1) Punk and Cole both dis Mathews all the time and its histerical. I love watching NXT just to hear what those guys are gonna say. That is the best part in my opinion.

Ok, so that about rounds up this week's review. I'll give the episode a 3.5 out of 10. That's 1.0 down from last week and 1.5 down from week one. Those girls have to step it up. I'm going to keep watching and writing, so I'm not losing hope yet. With a 35% rating, I'll say it sucked, what about you?

*3.5 out of 10

Well its now time for the second installment of my blog series. NXT this week was pretty stupid when you go over everything that happened. I'l take you through it step by step. O, and it got a 1.01 rating I believe. Not bad, thats better than some season 2 episodes.

Ok, so we start out with a tag match, Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler vs. AJ and Primo. I dont really have any complaints about this match, it wasn't awful. The only part I didn't get, now hear me out, was why Ziggler pinned Primo. Its a Diva version of NXT where the competition is between the divas. So, therefore Kaitlyn should've pinned AJ or vise-versa to make the show have the feel its supposed to have. I don't think NXT is the show to start WWE Superstars rivalries with. Or is it? God, knows what Vince wants these days.

Then there is a Joke Off. Really? A joke off? Are you kidding me? Since when do you have to tell a good joke to get a job in the WWE? Jamie gets the win, ok. But I like Aksana's joke the best. The one where she said the difference between a wife and a girlfriend was about 20 pounds. That was funny, but I don't think the fans liked it because they couldn't understand her at first. Also, the two fights, almost exactly alike, definetly got the fans going, which was good to see. That probably got the girls pumped. It was obvious Matt Striker had a fun time breaking that up. Who wouldn't? But all in all, I don't even really remember the other girls' jokes, thats how forgettable they were. I mean, I have a good memory. I write this without even re-watching the show, so its all off memories. Not bragging at all.

Next is Jamie versus Aksana. What I liked about this contest was that they both showed aggressivness. They both went at eachother like they really hated eachother. They showed signs of indecisivness between the two, but I give them an A for Effort. Jamie got the win off of a roll-up (I think). It would be cool to see some finishers every once in awhile in the coming weeks.

The obstacle course closes out the show. Kaitlyn went first and got the win, with Jamie finishing in a very close second. I felt bad for Naomi because she got called out by the referees on every obstacle, they said she missed a tire (which she did), the guy said she did her pushups wrong (which she did) and the ref told her she fell off the beam too soon (which she did). So really I shouldn't feel bad because they didn't take the competition away from her, but I along with a lot of others most likely would have like to see her win another competition.

A few side notes:
#1) The Michael Cole- Gong thing was funny. He thinks the show sucks and is pointless, who will deny that, but I really wonder if he'll actually stay even though he said he wont, or if he'll be replaced. If he is replaced, it'll be Grisham, Byron Saxton, or Abraham Washington. They won't make it any better. They need J.R.
#2) Whenever AJ is mad or frustrated, she does like a fists pushed down/ground stomp, which many people do, but she smiles after it. If you're supposed to be mad, stay mad!
#3) Vickie doing the obstacle course was another way for her to take control of the show, or get all the attention. I think that may be what she's trying to do.
#4) Did anyone else see Maxine before Vickie went on the obstacle course? While Kaitlyn was trying to tell everyone to move back (understandable) Maxine was doing her "What are you gonna do about it?" pose that she always does. Completely unecessary in my opinion, no one was looking (except me obviously) so why bother? I guess it doesn't matter, I'm just very observant.

Overall, I'll give it a 4.5 out of 10. Thats .5 down from my score last week. I just didn't enjoy it as much this week. What about you?

This is the first installment of a very long series of posts, done by myself, reviewing each week of WWE NXT. I'll go from the start of the show to the finish.

OK, so we start with a good beginning video with the song by Kevin Rudolf, that is quite catchy if I might add. So the divas and superstars come out with their rookies.
Now the introductions are always tough. This is where you need to get the WWE Universe on your side right off the bat to get them to vote for you. Kaitlyn had a little trouble, and obviously Vickie hated it. Who cares? Its a tough thing to do. Aksana reminded me of a not-as-hot version of Maryse with her blonde hair, accent, and the non-english language she spoke in. God knows what she said. Oh yea, she said she likes the Double Double E Universe (or something like that) and that she wants to "EntertainMENT" us. Ok. Maxine was good, she came off as a strong heel in my opinion. AJ gave the childhood dream speech, not that there is anything wrong with that but the object was to introduce yourself. Jamie was standing like she was still ring announcing, so. . . Yea, I think she still thought she was ring announcing. She did sound like she knew what she was talking about though, kudos. As for Naomi, well she stole the show. I think she was the fan favorite before she even picked up the mic. She had the best reaction by far.

Now, the dance contest was pointless. Cole, Chimel and Mathews had more eyes on them than the girls did, at least thats what it seemed like. The only girl I felt bad for was Aksana. Josh Mathews came up to dance with her and instead of letting her do her own thing, he tried slow dancing. She was robbed. AJ looked real sexy, Naomi was really flexible, and for a few seconds, it seemed like Maxine was going to take it too far. Enough said.

The first tag match, for rookie divas, was really good. Both divas, Naomi and Maxine did good, especially Naomi, she showed tremendous athletic ability. It was entertaining believe it or not.

Then was the Capture the Flags challenge. I didnt think it was fair for Naomi and Maxine to be in this right away because they just had a match, whatever, boy was I wrong. Jamie is out first and actually looks happy about it, dont know what that was. Then AJ is gone in the second race. Aksana is gone third. Fourth race comes around and the girls go all out. Maxine slams into the non-padded side of the barricade but till gets up fast enough to climb on the barricade and leap off of it (I think) to grab the last flag, adios Kaitlyn. Now the girls who just had a freakin match are the ones in the finals. What does that say about those two, or the other 4 for that matter? Anyway Naomi gets the final flag and wins again. She was on FIRE!!!! She is gonna go far.

Side note: Listening to Michael Cole and Josh Mathews on commentary is, to me, hilarious. The things Cole says to make Josh flip out all the time is great. They make a good team. "Shut up Cole!!!"

Ok, the main event, Aksana and Goldust vs. Primo and AJ. Well the men looked fine, the girls, definetly not so much. They botched the first ending so had to do it again, and the WWE Universe let them hear it with their share of boo's. I get it, it was their first night in a WWE ring that was in front of
15,000+, is nerveracking, but if you wrestle at FCW together, the matches should be somewhat fluent, right?

Ok, the show was entertaining at some points and was not a failure of a first episode. Out of ten, I'll give it a 5. I think thats generous, what about you?

Final: 5 out of 10

Seasons 1 and 2 of NXT were very entertaining from my point of view. I mean it's my favorite show that the WWE has to offer, showcasing young talent. However, its ratings make it seem like an awful show. Like, worse than TNA awful. NXT is lucky to get a 1.1 rating each week. But now with an all-female version of NXT, the ratings have a greater chance to increase. Here's why:

1) It's All GIRLS
You cant possibly think that now that there is an all girl season, that male viewers will decrease. They should most likely double, or triple even! What man would not want to spend an hour watching an all female wrestling show, (even if they lack some ability)???

2) The drama/emotions will be crazier
Not to be sexist or anything, but women are more often than not, way more dramatic about things than guys are. So if there are arguments and fights with all guys, there will most certainly be ones with all girls.

3) Female "ROLE"-modeling
Female viewers, particularly ones about 14 and under, really respect and look up to the Divas in the WWE. Now they will be able to see women, just a bit older than they are (Like 10 years older), compete for a place in the WWE. Those girls that watch on TV and dream about being a Diva will be able to witness something that they could possibly be doing in the future. Working for a spot in the WWE as a Diva.

4) Program Diversity
There is an African-American wrestler, a Lithuanian wrestler, a former ring announcer, a "nerd", and a 6 FOOT 9 Diva!!!!! C'mon, who wouldn't want to tune in to see a 6'9" woman, or all the other hotties for that matter???

So basically, with this all-female season 3 of WWE NXT, there will probably be an increase in male viewers, young female (and older female) viewers, and more drama; even if it will only last for one month.
NXT is entertaining, even if you don't like the show. And with these new Divas coming in, the ratings should at least rise a little bit.
