I've been thinking alot about the Intercontinental Championship, Cody Rhodes, and the future of the I.C. Title

BOOKING:
Alot of title runs lately have either been at unscheduled match or through an undetermined contender. This is especially true for the IC title. Before Cody captured the IC from Ezekiel Jackson, the title was thrown around ALOT which made this title lose alot of prestige and or credibility. For the first few months of Cody's IC title reign, I enjoyed it. But seriously, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME HE DEFENDED IT IN A SCHEDULED MATCH?This is what I want to see happen with the I.C. title. Oh yeah, EXACTLY...this is why I would do the storyline below to get the IC Title going again and maybe get it a little prestige, and some final pop before Jericho retires.

Predictions:
Big Show is coming out for the IC Title match at WrestleMania 28 and he is attacked by Cody which makes Show unable to compete. All of a sudden, Goldust music hits. Goldust comes out and even in a good match, Cody retains the IC title.
Big Show becomes tired of Cody running away and Teddy Long gives Show another match for the IC Title if he can beat someone (undetermined opponent at the moment) in a #1 Contenders Match. This brings out Jericho who somehow lost the WWE Championship (IF he won it at Mania of course) He says all Intercontinental Champions are Chris Jericho wannabes and by becoming #1 Contender , the end of the world as we know it is coming. Jericho defeats Big Show to become #1 Contender which leads to a IC Title match at the next PPV. (most likely Extreme Rules) Jericho defeats Cody Rhodes for the IC Title and becomes a TEN TIME INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!
He comes out the next night on RAW and announces himself the NEW IC CHAMPION and sadly, Chris Jericho retires.

Other Thoughts:
Sure its kind of a crazy thought but think of what this would do for the title, for the WWE even, and certainly...for Jericho! I personally think this would be a GREAT way for Jericho to retire and I hope you enjoyed this blog!

Match 1:Orton vs. Barrett review
Interesting match, I'm LOVING this feud. Unfortunately, Otunga ran out for the save and pretty much just got DESTROYED by Randy Orton.
Winner:Randy Orton by DQ

Match 2:Ryder vs. Swagger
Just a match to keep putting Ryder over. I do wonder about Dolph accompanying Swagger instead of Vickie AND Dolph, but thats just me..It was nice seeing Sgt. Slaughter again.
Winner:Ryder by Pinfall

Match 3:Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan
AWW YEAH, no... I knew Booker T would be involved, YAY D BRYAN!Winner:Daniel Bryan pinfall

Match 4:OMG lol Maria Menounos, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox vs. The Bellas and Divas of Doom pretty good by the Heels at first and then Menounos went to the second rope, I thought it was a hurricanrana at first but she pulled out a roll up on Phoenix. Divas of Doom losing streak continues!O.O
Winners: Maria Menounos, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox.

Match 5:Primo & Epico A.K.A. (WWE's Mexican America?) with Rosa Mendes vs. AirBoom Non-Title match.
Fairly nice match here, I am enjoying this new stable! Maybe they'll get a Tag Championship match soon? Kofi was distracted by Primo and Epico hit the Backstabber to win.
Winners:Primo and Epico with Rosa Mendes

Match 6: Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre MCINTYREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...apparently not, well at least they used him. Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick and pinned him for the win. It's just like WWE to make Drew look weak like that and put over Sheamus even more, really? He's ALREADY a monster face!
Winner:Sheamus

Match 7: SuperCena, "Best WWE Champion Ever" CM Punk, and Big Show vs. WHC Mark Henry, The Miz and ADR.
Nothing to say besides CM Punk and The Miz are GREAT!I hope we see Miz become a two time WWE Champion at TLC!
Winners: SuperCena, CM Punk, and Big Show
Side Note:John Cena got a HUGE positive reaction from the troops here, I mean HUGE!

Favorite Segment:
George Wallace, the guy was just plain hilarious!Anyway, that's my review of this years Tribute To The Troops. Thanks for reading everyone!

Corwo here and this is my 5th blog since joining EWN! This blog will be highlighting some ways to rebuild the Tag Division and how to make AirBoom look good as a Face Team.

Rebuilding
Obviously they have great teams to start rebuilding, it just doesn't seem like a priority to them at the moment despite the fact that HHH wants to rebuild the Tag Division. Why not start having Tag Team Main Events without Super Cena, Monster Sheamus (he's awesome by the way), or Super Orton. How about start making Kofi and Evan defend a little more and maybe they'll get some credibility. Try these teams
AirBoom (already)
William Regal and Wade Barrett
Sheamus and Justin Gabriel (possible...not sure here)
Percy and Titus
Hawkins and Reks
I mean seriously...I would LOVE a feud for the Tag Team Titles with AirBoom vs. Hawkins and Reks. I think the feud would give some action packed matches and would be absolutely amazing.

AirBoom On The Right Track?
Ok,ok...I understand Evans suspension (which was stupid, it was obviously 100% legal.) but you should've given the month or so that he was gone to Reks/Hawkins or another worthy team to prove theirselves. Then when Evan returned, have Reks/Hawkins be the Number 1 Contenders. Now I love AirBoom as much as the next guy but face it, its time for a change in the Tag Team Division! As far as them being on the right track, I think they're doing pretty good besides the fact that they need to defend more. This new shirt that the Tag Team released earlier today may be giving clues that WWE will making AirBoom even bigger, but we're not sure yet! (Pictures of the new shirt below... debuting at tonights Slammys in Norfolk VA?)

Anyway, I will have a blog going up tomorrow with my thoughts on the Slammys! Thanks.

Corwo here again with a brand new blog. This blog is featuring some of the "newer" stars on the rise (some of which have been appearing in main events alot throughout the past month or so. )

KOFI KINGSTON
What can I say, great athlete. He graduated from Boston College and has lots of in-ring ability. He had a GREAT match with Wade Barrett I mean GREAT match with Wade Barrett and he has already held the World Tag, Tag, I.C. AND U.S. Titles within a few years with the WWE. I'd say this guy could be rising to the top very soon!

DOLPH ZIGGLER
Oh...my...gosh!Not much more to say than THIS GUY HAS SKILLS. He was 2-0 at SSeries and is doing very good as the U.S. Champion. He had an INCREDIBLE match with CM Punk, this guy is already a former WH Champion (kinda) I.C. Champion, and now U.S. Champion. He is DEFINITELY going somewhere!

CODY RHODES
Brings more prestige to the Intercontinental Title every day. Rhodes is going nowhere besides upward and has put the I.C. Title in some nice Main Events, including the Fatal4Way between Bryan, Rhodes, Orton, and Barrett. I can't wait for this guy to be a WH Champion.

DANIEL BRYAN
I like this small feud he's having with Mark Henry. I know I might get heat for this, but the guy has already proved that he can become indeed a world champion.

WADE BARRETT
My gosh, this guy is getting better all the time. He could EASILY be a World Champion and has been in MULTIPLE Main Events over the past month. His team also got the win at SSeries, go Barrett!

Anyway those were just some thoughts and current events and rising stars in the WWE. Thanks for reading

I've been reading alot of reports (and some spoilers) for IMPACT lately and pretty much just watching alot of IMPACT.I would like to talk about some main focuses during the past month or so from TNA.

MORGAN and CRIMSON TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

Well...great way to keep Crimson's undefeated streak and push (well I don't know, It started the day he signed with TNA..) I think Morgan and Crimson will be a very dominant tag team and could work very well together. This is a great powerhouse tag team!I think Morgan & Crimson will have quite a few runs as the tag team champions.

FALL of FORTUNE?

Over the past month or more, lots of problems have been happening in Fortune. Fortune has been full of top mid carders for a while now but they're seeming to have WAY to many problems. I mean first of all Daniels and Roode have gone heel and AJ and James Storm are feuding with them, I mean....where's Kazarian? He's just caught in the middle of all of their arguments, etc.!

GAIL KIM DOUBLE CHAMPION

The second EVER double Knockouts champion in TNA.Uhh,good for her!I think since Mickie is the #1 contender *SPOILER*.That this will be a pretty entertaining feud, I may have to see a match between these two first.

T.V. Champions Robbie & Rob vs. EY

Some pretty decent matches, I do think it was smart to have Eric Young drop the title last sunday. I could tell it was coming though because of some of the recent backstage segments and everything happening between the Robs and Young.
Anyway, these were just some of my thoughts in TNA, I plan to do another iMPACT Report soon!

I've been watching some Superstars lately and thinking about some things and I realized: Drew Mcintyre does NOT get nearly enough credit for the heel he is.

Just look at some of the episodes of Superstars from the past few weeks, great competitor and he received a nice amount of heat this past week. He had a great match on RAW with Randy Orton not long ago and to me, has proved that he still has the charisma in him. He is being underutilized but I do like that he has been dominating WWE Superstars. I mean his "Chosen One" gimmick will still work, he had a BRILLIANT run for the I.C. Title with many entertaining matches! In the Tag-Team Turmoil match he and Cody Rhodes won the WWE Tag Team Titles and had a TERRIBLE run. I'm just saying look where Rhodes is now, and where Mcintyre is now....they could BOTH be solid midcarders and they both receive decent heat but where is Drew?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my second blog!I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while I've just been very busy and I'll have LOTS more blogs coming soon!

What WWE Needs To Do For The Roster

First of all,I'm Corwo and I just joined EWN and this is my first blog. This blog is mainly what I personally think WWE needs to do to their roster and for the shows.

What They NEED
Bring back the Cruiserweight or Lightweight Title, this gave the smaller guys something to fight for instead of being at the bottom of the mid-card and put on some great matches such as Tajiri vs Kidman.

Turn Cena Heel at Survivor Series.I'm a huge Cena fan but SuperCena is getting kind of boring, this would give him a fresh start and would look great for his feud with The Rock.

Let Punk and Big Show ( and Sheamus somewhat) be the faces of the WWE instead of John Cena and Randy Orton. Punk and Big Show both have the in-ring ability to be the faces of the WWE and I loved the promos Punk cut back in July. As for Sheamus, he's booked as a MONSTER face right now, don't be surprised if he gets a WHC very soon.

Setup the matches for PPV's well in advanced, even if its not for a title....have small feuds that could lead to a mid-card title such as the I.C. or the U.S. title because 3 PPV's in 5 weeks was a very dumb idea.

Awesome Truth become the Tag Champions at Veangance. As much as I hate to say it, Awesome Truth has made a statement in the tag team division and I could see them taking the titles from AirBoom soon.

Have Orton and Cody Rhodes feud for the I.C. Title with Rhodes retaining for most of the time and at the least expected moment, have Orton win the title. Even though Rhodes is slowly getting a major push, I can forsee this rivalry for the I.C. title starting at Veangance or maybe even a SmackDown taping before then.

Make Henry's run as WHC meaningful. I don't personally like Mark Henry, but the dude is destroying everything in his path and inducting more and more members into the "Hall Of Pain".Though his recent battles with Big Show, I can see Henry holding the WHC for at least 3-4 more months.

Make Vickie,Dolph, Christian, Swagger, Otunga, and Rhodes stable dominate for a while. It would be interesting to see, I mean while Christian has held multiple WHC's during his feud with Orton does anyone remember when Ziggler was WHC for a hour or so before he lost it to Edge? The stable already has the two Mid-Card titles. I could see maybe Swagger and Otunga or Swagger and Christian capturing the Tag Titles after awhile and then going from there.

John Morrison is in high-water with WWE still over the Melina stuff and is jobbing more and more every week.He was reportedly booked for a push but when that happens I think we may see JoMo capture his first U.S. Title and feud with Ziggler. They had a heck of a feud for the I.C. Title back in 2009- Early 2010.

NXT Redemption my gosh....what is it like Week 30?Just end it and give Young, O'Neill and Maxine their contracts already. It is getting boring every week watching the exact same thing and its been a LONG time since I watched NXT because of this.

Yoshi Tatsu may be taken somewhere with this new masked gimmick. Maybe a mid-card run perhaps?

Anyway, thats the last of my thoughts on everything for now.Hope you enjoyed my first blog!
