It's probably the only true 'Dream' Match left that is actually possible and legit. HBK can do what Undertaker does and turn it on once a year at Mania because he is 'Mr WrestleMania'. Rock has an incredible ability to disappear for months/years and come back as if he never left. He's never been the most technical wrestler but he's a very good concistent one. As a pure athlete, he's amazing.

These two would make the build up promo's alone truely EPIC. You get the feeling it would deliver in everyway Rock/Cena never did in the build up. HBK isn't Vince's blue eyed boy that needs to be kept safe and look good for the 10 year olds. HBK is a legend but doesn't have to be a robot. Being himself in a match that could be his last shot at the big time taking on arguably Wrestlings greatest ever Megastar would be incredible.

There is zero interest in Rock/Cena 2 and Punk is fading so fast from the limelight it's scary. It's got zero box office appeal. Besides, Austin is a better fit for Punk and hopefully Austin will decimate him.

For fans that grew up in The Attitude Era this will definately be THE MATCH of Next Years Mania. Nothing else will come close. Totally eclipsing the WWE Title bout which is a shame but that is the state of the business today.

Can you imagine if Rock actually grabs the title at The Rumble and then challenges HBK to finally face off at Mania............

Brock's return is becoming a real disaster. Rock V Brock 2 just doesn't get be jazzed up like The Ultimate Dream Match of Rock Vs HBK. HBK can truely stake his claim as 'Mr Wrestlemania' by beating the only man to beat Hogan, Austin and Cena at Mania. On the flip side Rock will be expected to win......

THAT is a true DREAM MATCH. His biggest career failing/character failing is the fact he simply can't, or stubbornly refuses to take ANYTHING SERIOUSLY. Everythings a joke. He just wrecks anykind of serious work or angle that's happening by ironically being himself. As bad as Johnny Ace is as a poor mans Vince he beat up Cena last week and what does Cena do in response?

Act like an obnoxious, lame, cringingly unfunny idiot. It was embarassing. By the time he was gurning like Carrey I wanted to wretch. It was beyond painful to watch.

WWE's spin doctors might have released a statement saying the reason he was SO CORNY was because after his personal troubles they wanted him to just have fun.

Do you think he ever watches the show when he gets back to the hotel room to see how it went? How the angle or storyline is going? Does he actually watch himself?

Yes he's got a major attitude on him but he's arguably THE GREATEST pure Heel I've ever seen. I say The Greatest because he was just evil at times, some of the stuff he did to lesser stars was a close to the bone as WWE ever got. You believed it because he was known as a real piece of work outside of the ring too.

He made fans go OOOOOOOOHHHHH and AHHHHHHHH all the time in shock and awe and how many of todays 'current' roster can do that? Most fans now just go ZZZZZZZZZZZ. In fact there isn't a single 'star' on the current roster that has even half of Lesners ability or ring presence. Cena may be as big a star but he couldn't tie brocks laces.

If he's there tonight then he'll interfere in either Taker/HHH (he said he like a shot at Taker in a match the other week) or more likely he'll interfere in Rock/Cena. Everything points to a Cena win tonight unfortunately but he'll never go over Rock clean, not in Miami. They'll be a full blown riot and the bullshit chants will be heard in Australia. Any fan with half a brain know Cena isn't anywhere near Rocks level in performance, Rock is a greater wrestler and as an athlete is a million miles ahead of a body builder trying to be a wrestler which is Cena.

Cena's even made it clear he has to win, he can't lose. I'd be just as happy if Rock went full heel on Cena who refused to quit. Almost a mirror image of the classic Hart/Austin match years ago. It won't hurt Cena one bit and might even increase his credability in the eyes of fans over 10. Cena would be lying to himself if he said it didn't bother him that people over 10 think he's a joke.

Cena doesn't have to go heel because he already has so much venom aimed at him anyway. Rock as a Heel is God, part of this build up is the fact that Cena is trying to make The Rock doubt himself. What better way than by Rock having to cheat or not having Cena counted out but unconcious. Rock gets the victory but doesn't win the war. Cena gets more legit even from a loss and the fued can evolve even more.

As far as Brock interfering. Rock literally passed him the torch in 2002. CLEAN. The youngest WWF Champion in history passes the belt to the new youngest WWF Champion in history. There is No torch to pass to Cena. Brock costing Rock the match doesn't make any sense. I'm sure WWE management would never have the intelligence or the cajones to do a Hart/Austin tonight, even though it would be an incredible ending. Not yet but it's getting close. I think what'll push me into that camp along with many other fans is if he wins at Wrestlemania. He's been pushed so hard and won and lost so many titles it doesn't matter a toss if he's carrying 'That Belt' at all. He's still the top man in The WWE. C.M Punk........Champion Yes. Superstar......I don't see it. Unfortunately Cena IS a Superstar. He likes to point out on a weekly basis he always gets a reaction, good or bad. Cena does the same promo every week.....after kiss assing the fans and the city that boo and taunt him, he tells them they paid their money to do so blah blah.

When he goes home at night what must he think?

Cena's lines are bad..........his promo's are beyond cringeworthy and were all supposed to think this guy is a No1 talent.

Vince and the WWE sitcom writers are equally to blame for how Cena's career has gone.

It's got to a point where most fans have become so jaded with where the companys been going for years that it couldn't get any worse. The writing is terrible and so are the storylines. Like someone said on this site, The current WWE is so corporate PG and as a product has ZERO edge anymore. It feels stale, lame, weak, boring and bland. Cena is THE FACE of all this. It's been years now but it has reached it's pinnicle. Everytime I see Cena I'm reminded of how bad it all is.

No one can question Cena's commitment to the company. He does what is asked when asked, even if it makes him look and sound a fool. After 5 years you'd think even he might think of changing, but no.

There he is, center stage. A man of 34/35 still dressing like a 10 year old.

Enough is enough.

It is being said that this will be Rock's last ever match. He already has a Legacy in this industry that only 2 other men can match. That is Austin and Hogan. These are The 3 Superstars that trancended the business.

The Rock doesn't need this match at all. He got in and got out with perfect timing. He was handed the torch by Hogan, He became The 1st 7 time Champion. He then handed the torch to Lesner. He has NO TORCH to hand to Cena if that's what people think. Vince and The WWE and Cena need The Rock, not vice versa.

I'm a Rock mark and an Attitude Man. Rock is a megastar and Cena isn't. I hope Rock has made it clear he's not back to lose to the abysmal 5 moves of doom. He's better than that. Rock was never the most technical wrestler but he's a fantastic athlete. He looks incredible and is even faster than before. He's simply on another level than Cena and the fans see this.

Cena's Legacy, when he retires will never be remembered with fondness. He's never had a truely memorable match despite winning the title 457839 times.

When he bastardized The Classic WWE Title Belt into that 5 year olds spinning toy he sealed his fate. The Belt still looks hideous today. For the sake of all wrestling Cena MUST LOSE. It'll be the biggest disgrace in history if Cena beats The Rock. Cena must lose and disappear for a while. Come back and let the fans have it.......FINALLY.

In fact in my last post I said that Rock already passed the torch to Cena 7 years ago when he left. That was wrong, he actually passed it to Brock Lesner at Summerslam. Brock was the next Big Thing and The Rock was the youngest WWE Title Holder in history at that point. He put Lesner over clean and gave him that honour.

Rock coming back to the WWE is really a favour to Vince, who needed a true megastar for his show piece. Unfortunately there are NO stars of his magnitude on the current roster. Cena may be the No1 star but a megastar he aint. When Goldberg returned to face The Rock at Backlash he actually asked The Rock before hand if he would go over clean and Rock said yes. Rock had just beaten Hogan again and Austin for the 1st time at Mania so he was at his arrogant Heel best. Goldberg is a Megastar and a monster so it was always a forgone conclusion that Rock in his final match would get his ass handed to him.

You belived it because both men seemed about equal. Goldberg would always win clean while Rocky wouldn't. If Rock won it'd be a screw job. The reason he beat Austin clean at Mania as a heel, was because he'd put Austin over twice before and now the favour was returned. He even thanks him in the ring after the match.

The Rock can easily turn heel because of his back and forth between Hollywood and the WWE fans, that other wrestlers point out all the time.
"You said you'd never leave but you did blah blah weep weep moan moan".
I'd love The Rock to go heel at Mania but as he's in his home town he'll still be cheered, probably even more so. As a Face he's great, but to me, Hollywood Heel Rock is God.

The Cena rise above hate angle needs to go from simmering to boiling and just focus on that. This weeks Raw was abysmal with all the other acts getting involved........get them away from Cena. Let them squabble about other things with other wrestlers. Anytime Cena or The Rock are onscreen it should just be about the two of them. It's Mania's Marquee Match and the one that'll sell tickets. It's the BIGGEST match of Cena's career so that should just be his focus, that and the fact he's slowly going over the edge after years of being a lame fool. If he doesn't turn Heel before or even in the match then he should definately lose.

What I'd love to see personally is The Rock screwing over Cena somehow in the match to get the win and then just get a chair and totally decimate him like he did to Mankind in that epic Rumble I Quit Match from 99. Cena can be carted out while The Rock as a Heel swaggers about the place with the mic taunting Cena's little fans. Cena disappears for months while other wrestlers get a shot in the limelight and then Cena comes back to interupt a title match with a whole new damn persona. No more hustle, loyalty and respect rubbish, no more wearing clothes from Babygap. Come back as a top heel and tell the fans finally what they mean to him, like Hogan did at WCW when he turned.
He could even form a group like N.W.O and just rule for years as a Heel.

Just something totally different to what he is now. The Biggest Loser Top Face star I've ever seen in Wrestling. It's not all his fault, the WWE management team are equally to blame but Cena just agrees to everything they say even if it makes him look like a joke. That is why I hope he loses at Mania. I just don't buy Cena as a worthy opponent in this. It's not a modern Hogan Vs Rock for the PG Era at all. That match worked because it had meaning. It had 2 Megastars facing off against each other. It felt Epic and the match was legendary. The Rock Vs Cena is a twitter battle. A feud that doesn't have meaning and just doesn't work.

If they wanted a match with no meaning, that would be incredible and one that could still work but will never happen then how about a dream match between

The Rock Vs Shawn Michaels

The build up and promo's alone would be the greatest ever as both men are showmen. It's the one match I would've loved to have seen but never will.

Anyway back to Rock Vs Cena

I don't hate Cena but he's soooooooooo stale on the mic and robotic in the ring I can't take him seriously, probably like most fans over the age of 10. He's also just never going to have a legacy or star power like The Rock, even if he wins 100 titles. He's already defiled the belt. It's still tarnished and looks hideous.

Another problem is that since this feud started it's been all Rock. He's been burying Cena since day one and the fact Cena does nothing doesn't help. I know he's got this rise above the hate thing going on but it makes him look weak and lame. His character is lame and stale and anyone over the age of 10 knows it. Rock was never the most technical wrestler but compared to Cena he's on a totally different level.

Cena is the one this feud must be centered on because the back story isn't really there between them. It will rise and fall with him because The Rock will always be great in the ring and be unparalled on the mic. Cena maybe a big star and the top billed on the current WWE but he's being made to look like a total chump so far. The 'This is Your Life' segment was a TOTAL DISASTER. Buried by his own father was embarrising beyond belief. Now he's getting slapped around by Roddy Piper! Who's next to come out the woodwork and make him look like a chump.

I know all logic points to Cena winning at Mania but he'll be despised even more by all the fans that have been bored of Cena for almost 5 years now. Goldberg came back to Feud with The Rock and win. At the end of the day The Rock is a megastar and Cena isn't. The Rock was unselfish in the ring when he wrestled full time but I hope to God he's told Vince he's back to win. END.OF.

Cena needs to lose at Mania and just disappear for a while. Come back fresh with an entirely different angle. Don't go back to rapping with a chain but.........just be different.
