Hello wrestling fans

I wrote about number 5 on my top 5 triple threat matches. I expected a couple of comments about it but maybe it wasn’t what you guys thought it would be. I wanted to do something different from other tops and my own ones by going more into the matches. On my 3 other topics about a top 5 thing I ranked them from 5 to 1 and wrote a little bit of the build up to the match and then a couple of comments about the match and then how many stars the match got. So after many thoughts going around my head I decided to go with doing number 4 on this page, number 3 and 2 on my next blog and the match ranked number one on my last. Sure comments don’t mean that a blog is good or bad but in my real life I want critics. I want to know if I should change this or keep this, if it was well written or was the whole thing not that good. Maybe it’s hard to comment something when you only have 1 match on your paper and the match is ranked number 5.

Okay I got that out of my mind. So now I can focus on this match. Let’s see who made it to number 4. Again this is based on 5 things named: Build up, the match, big moment, the winner and aftermath. All the ranking was based on my own opinion.

Nr.4 April 2, 2000 Anaheim CA (WWE WrestleMania)
Kurt Angle vs Benoit vs Jericho in a 2 fall for the European and Intercontinental Title
First fall for the Intercontinental title and second fall for the European title
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8s...t#.UXMTLbV7L0c

Build up
In February 8 on Smackdown Kurt Angle won his first title in the WWE by defeating Val Venis for the European title. 3 Weeks later on No Way Out 2000 Angle got a match against Jericho for the Intercontinental title. In this match Angle got the 3 pin and captured the title which at the same time became the third wrestler out of four to hold both the European and Intercontinental title. Jericho was given his rematch at WrestleMania 2000 but it wasn’t only for the Intercontinental it was also for the European title since Benoit got involved. Now in a 2 fall – triple threat match for both the titles who was going to leave WrestleMania as the champion. I rate this build up, 3 out of 5. It wasn’t something special leading up to the match. A guy getting his rematch and the other guy just came in for a shot.

The Match
Wow the match. If you haven’t seen it please take the 14 minutes of your time and watch the technical, high flying, suplexing, in ring action. Every time I watch this match it always reminds me of how excellent these 3 guys are and was at wrestling and storytelling. I rate this match a 4 out of 5 based on the talent inside the ring. The moves, the passion, the hunger in all three of these men were just too good to be true. This match in my opinion made them superstars. Maybe not Main Eventers but you knew that this is the future in this company.

My only problem with this match is that it felt to how can you say it, rushed. I like when the match is going a longer than 10 minutes but with 3 so skillful wrestlers in the ring at the same time against each other you could have booked it a whole lot longer and don’t forget it was a 2 fall match. But it was a very good match and well worth the time I spent watching it.

Big Moment
When looking for a big moment I found 2 things. One thing was that you saw two titles change and the other one was that Kurt Angle did not get pinned. I can’t remember if I have seen a match like this were two titles change hands but the holder doesn’t get pinned and therefore not “losing” it. And you could see on Angels face that this wasn’t the thing he had in his mind planned before the match. The reaction from Kurt Angle was priceless and hear him screaming “That is wrong man”, I could not stop laugh.
I rate this 4 out of 5 because of how it played out and the fact that Angle lost his championships without getting pinned was something special to me.

The Winner or winners in this case
I thought about this when watching the match and after watching the match, what if Angle didn’t lose any of his titles? Would it be better for him? In my opinion it was the right decision that Angle lost both his titles at the grandest stage of them all. And by doing it without getting pinned was another thing that made it better. Benoit was already a top mid carder coming from WCW as their WCW world heavyweight champion. It was clear to me that Benoit should get the first fall and he got it. He won his first title in WWE and doing it at WrestleMania pushed his status a bit higher. Jericho on the other hand had already held the title and lost it to Angle at No Way Out months before so he already was a top mid carder so he didn’t need the title in that perspective and by getting the second fall was just a way to build the fact that Kurt Angle did not get pinned but still losing his championship. I rate this 4 out of 5.

Aftermath
For Kurt Angle this didn’t do so much at the beginning. But a few months later we saw his push. He won King of the Ring 2000 by beating Rikishi in the final. At Summerslam Angle was involved in another triple threat match but this time against 2 main eventers, Triple H and The Rock for the WWF title. It didn’t go the way I think it was planned because of the botched announce table part but it was a test for the plans they got for him later on. And he finally got the win he fought for by defeating The Rock for the WWF title at No Mercy 2000.

Benoit stayed in the top midcard scene fighting to hold the Intercontinental title around his waist. He got involved in a feud for his championship with Jericho who still wanted to get back the title. This feud is in my opinion one of the best ones for the Intercontinental title. They produced so many good matches against each other. Their PPV matches was just so well played and so story told that it was amazing as a fan to watch it. For a couple of months they traded the title 2 times against each other. Jericho lost his title to Eddie Guerrero at RAW the night after WrestleMania. So he could focus on capturing back his Intercontinental he once lost and did it when he beat Benoit at Smackdown in May 2. But Benoit got his rematch and won it and again Jericho lost his championship. Their feud ended at Summerslam after their two out of three falls match but they fought against each other a couple of months later at Royal Rumble 2001 in a ladder match for Jericho’s Intercontinental title. I rate this 4 out of 5 because of the outcome it got for these three superstars. The Kurt Angle push, Jericho vs Benoit, both these things was well played and it was showcased at a time when WWE was at their top level.
In all I rank everything that this match had and did show a 4 star out of 5.

That’s all for this time and I want to thank everybody who reads the thing I write. Even if you only just click and read one word I still appreciate it very much. Check out my other 2 blogs that is coming up in a couple of days because in them we have number 3, 2 and number 1 triple threat match.

One on One match has produced so many classics in WWE. From Hogan vs. Andre to Rock vs. Austin all the way to Cena vs. CM Punk. With a stipulation added to the One on One match like a No Disqualification or a Steel Cage you can make the match more interesting. But how can you push that interesting match to another level? By introducing another wrestler to the match. This match is called, a Triple Threat Match. The first triple threat match on a PPV in WWE occurred at: In Your House Ground Zero 1997. This match was contested between Savio Vega, Crush and Faarooq. 16 years later we have seen 54 triple threat matches on a WWE PPV.

I did not choose matches from RAW and Smackdown because it would give me a whole lot of matches that I needed to spend my time on by just watching them and that would take forever. Out of all these 55 matches, I watched about 25 of them because I knew many of the matches would just take away my time. So I picked 15 matches out of 55 so I could watch them more in-depth. While watching these 15 matches I looked at 5 things that I compared to the other matches.

These 5 things were: Build up, the match, big moment, the winner, aftermath

Now that I got that sorted out I can now go down with the matches. If you have any questions just type them in the comment section and as you guys know this is my opinion so feel free to use that comment section to write your own. I’m not going to write so much about the actual match because I feel that you guys should watch it by yourself so you can build your own opinion. This is also the first blog out of 5 so be patient for the rest of the list to be posted. Well let’s see which match is ranked number 5 on this top list.

Nr.5 November 18, 2012 Indianapolis IN (WWE Survivor Series)
John Cena vs Ryback vs CM Punk for the WWE title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkxbHt18GV8

Build Up
After beating both Kane and Daniel Bryan at No Way Out 2012 and then ending the Punk vs. Bryan feud at the next PPV. Punk was asking for the respect he deserved and decided to continue the feud he had with Cena from last year. The first match these two had on a PPV was in a Triple Threat match with Big Show involved at Summerslam 2012. In this match CM Punk got the upper hand and won it. At Night of Champions Cena and CM Punk met again for the WWE Title. This match ended in a draw.

Ryback was starting to climb up in the ranks at the same time. Cena got a surgery and with him out of the title picture someone had to be the Nr1 contender for CM Punks title. Cena gave his spot to Ryback and a match at Hell in a Cell between Ryback and CM Punk got scheduled. The match ended in controversy since Brad Maddox performed a low blow on Ryback so CM Punk could get the pin and end Rybacks streak with a fast count from Maddox. With Cena healthy wanting his rematch after getting that draw and Ryback seeking for some justice since he got screwed, Vince McMahon decide to make a Triple Threat match between Ryback, Cena and CM Punk for the WWE title.
I rate this build up a 3,5 because of the unsolved business and controversial endings leading to the match.

The Match
I rate the match a 3 out 5. It wasn’t a classic wrestling match but it wasn’t bad either, a good match.
A couple of spots but nothing special that made the match a little bit better.

Big Moment
The biggest moment that got my attention and shocked me while I was watching the match was the debut of The Shield, especially Seth Rollins since I knew who he was. The thing that Ryback got suplexed by both CM Punk and Cena onto the announce table and later in the match being triple power bombed onto the other announce table by The Shield was something special. I rate this 4 out 5.

The Winner
We can all debate over who should win and who should not win but after thinking about if Ryback or Cena would do something better with the title I found out that the answer was no. With CM Punk winning he didn’t just win his 4th Triple Threat in a row and did not lose one since winning the title at Survivor Series 2011, he also passed that 365 day mark that so many superstars want to do. Add that it also was with the most important title in the WWE. When defending the title he got the 8th longest WWE title reign in the history of WWE. This is why I rate this 4 out 5.

Aftermath
So what happened after this match? Ryback started a feud with The Shield since they screwed him over title. He had a match teaming with Team Hell No against The Shield in a TLC pinfall or submission match at the TLC PPV, which resulted in a loss for Rybacks team.
Cena on the other hand got in a feud with Dolph Ziggler, particularly over Zigglers Money in the Bank briefcase. These two had a ladder match over the briefcase at TLC 2012. At this event we saw AJ Lee betraying Cena so Dolph Ziggler could grab his briefcase and win the match. Cena won his second Royal Rumble at this year’s event and challenged The Rock for the WWE title at WrestleMania.

CM Punk started to add day after day a new number to his prestigious title reign. CM Punk focused on how to hold the title till Royal Rumble so he could defend his title against The Rock, since he promised it. He had a one on one match against Ryback in a TLC match on RAW which he won thanks to interference from The Shield. CM Punk finally had his match with The Rock at Royal Rumble 2013 and lost it. He held the WWE title for 434 days and became the longest title holder since Hulk Hogan, who lost his WWE title in 1988 to Andre the Giant.

I rate this aftermath a 3,5 out 5 because I felt that CM Punk could hold the title for a longer time and drop the title at Wrestlemania. And the thing that The Rock didn’t do so many things with the title other than introducing a new design and losing to Cena at WrestleMania 29.

In whole I rank this a 3,5 out of 5 stars.

That’s all for this time and remember that we have 4 matches left on this Top 5 Triple Threat matches on a PPV in WWE. Thanks for reading this and as I wrote, type your own opinion :)

Hello my skeptical wrestling fans.

I have always said that sorry for my English language but blame the awful teachers here in Sweden.
Well this...

Hello my skeptical wrestling fans.

I have always said that sorry for my English language but blame the awful teachers here in Sweden.
Well this time I am going to give my opinion about a few topics that bugs me in a different way, either bad or good it doesn’t matter. I still feel that I should write this so I can get it out.

Wrestling fans

I have been a wrestling fan since 1998 and I taped and watched both WCW and WWF. If you didn’t figure this out yet I am from Sweden and I think we don’t have so many diehard fans here. So it’s very rare to talk with people here about wrestling. That’s why I always read everybody’s comments on EWN so I can get a view of how wrestling fans are and what they like or dislike. If we look at today’s fans we read a couple of hatred comments about wrestling today and we praise the wrestling from the past. But to me I think that almost half off you guys like what you are watching, well maybe everything, but most part of it. It doesn’t matter if it is WWE or TNA you still watch it every week even if it is bad or good.

And almost all of you don’t have a good solution or idea of what to improve or change even if we don’t have the power to do anything you can still give us your opinion in a good way. I have read a couple of comments that have “suck” “horrible” “awful” and etc. type of comments and to me if you want to join the “conversation” about the weeks show type a comment that actually matter to the topic. I don’t have any problems with “American wrestling fans” because some of you can actually do a mature conversation with other people and post interesting opinions.

Attitude Era

And to you “Attitude Era fans” and I am one of you guys, Attitude era wasn’t so good compared to today’s storylines/feuds. I have recently watched 2 months of both Raw is War and Smackdown from 2000 because I wanted to know what did we actually like or was it that good that we think it is. So based on the 2 months I recently watched (I know almost everything about AE : D) I actually discovered that it wasn’t so good. Well I should explain myself. Sure we had the McMahon-Helmsley faction which to me was one of the best things ever on WWE TV but apart from that and The Radicalz we didn’t have those good matches on TV, on PPV we always saw a 5star match but on television it was a rare thing.

That’s why I wanted to write about the Best WWF Raw is War matches but I didn’t get a chance by the EWN admins. But I am not going to bash us hardcore wrestling fans because if I do it I shoot myself in the foot. So if you are an AE fan and watch today’s wrestling please have this in your mind: Wrestling will always change but it is still wrestling even if we don’t see the moves we were used to watch.

TNA

I should start with that I have watched TNA since 2005 but started to watch it again in 2009 till now. And to me if we look at what TNA is doing now it’s pretty awesome. We have almost a decent or higher storyline on every match on the Bound for Glory PPV card. TNA has done a huge success in my opinion this summer. By just going live was a wonderful thing to do. But what’s sad to me is that even if we had a very nice BFG series for example TNA is still where it was before going live. We have seen really good matches every week and have seen good storylines over this summer, but still we have the ratings talk (and I should be included in that) because if more people actually saw TNA they would see a good wrestling show from the first second to the last second.

I think that TNA have shown that they actually have a chance to push WWE to a limit where WWE needs to do something. But if TNA doesn’t show their product to the whole “world” how they can go to the level WWE is at now. I hope from the bottom of my heart that TNA can go up in viewers a bit so they can expand their product even more. And maybe we get a new battle which doesn’t end in the same ending that it did in 2001.

WWE

Anyone interested in AJ? Well not me. I was at the time she was with Bryan but the whole GM thing doesn’t fit her. I was never positive about her as GM of Raw but I thought I should give it a chance because it cannot be worse than Adamle. I was right it wasn’t worse than Adamle but it wasn’t that good either. But I don’t blame AJ that much but the WRITERS! I have been writing on Excel Office about my own Wrestling brand. I included almost every WWF superstar from 2000 and put them in matches and storylines. For the first couple of months it wasn’t that hard to include them in matches and storylines but as the month went it was harder and harder to use my mind and have interesting matches (even if it was only for me I find it amusing)

But if we look at the WRITERS! We have seen no type of effort to entertain us wrestling fans. They use the same type of matches every week. We have a couple of tag matches here and a couple of Singles matches there. Sure it can be interesting if we see it say 3-6 times a month or so but have a Tag Team main event 3 times in a row is just laziness. I would example have maybe a Tornado tag or why not a triple threat steel cage match. Just a nice stipulation so the “Fans” doesn’t change the channel because it’s the PTP vs. Sin Cara and Rey in a regular tag team match or Del Rio vs. Kingston in a singles match. Put a stipulation, not every week maybe but so we can actually wait for the match and don’t regret it later after we figured it out that the match was boring or wasn’t that good.

This was maybe everything that was in my mind about wrestling. I am very known that these type of things get posted on EWN almost every time but I think this was a bit different than the others even if it’s not it was my opinion and I hope you guys can post your own or else my time I wrote this was meaningless.

Thank you EWN for this site so we wrestling fans can talk, express our feelings, be mad, be happy about wrestling in general.

Hi boys and girls and welcome to part 2 of WWE 13: Which wrestler? I am going to finish the work I did in my latest blog entry and this time I am going to include those wrestlers I think have a good chance to be in the game, more likely than some of the other guys that I include in part 1. Here are my choices:

Goldust. Hade some decent feuds in the mid card division. Won the Intercontinental title in 1999 during the Attitude Era. An underrated wrestler who should be included.

APA, Acolytes attire and APA attire. Farooq and Bradshaw 2 guys who was very over with the crowd and played the more adult version of the WWE very good. With their gambling and the beer they showed what Attitude means.

Owen Hart. I am sure that he is not going to be included in the game but I can always hope and dream about an Owen Hart character.

William Regal. Joined the WWE in 1998 but didn’t have a nice run because he got injured before he could make an appearance. He joined WCW but returned to WWE in 2000 and had in my opinion a very funny feud with Jericho.

Shane McMahon. In my opinion he should be include in the game before Stephanie or Vince since he gave 200% in the ring and was an excellent performer even with the limited training he got. Just those OMG moments he made could be used in the game.

Lita and Trish. Made the diva division even though the division was more about the sex appealing and these two women’s are very hot. Last time I played with Lita was in Smackdown HCTP (I had SVR2007 but never picked her) and same with Trish. So I would like to include these two hot divas in my 6 man battle royals.

Val Venis. Hello Ladies! Maybe not the most beloved character but I think he should be included to the roster thanks to his very edgy character. Just to be billed as a Playboy is something you wouldn’t see in today’s WWE.

Sable, Debra, Stephanie. Maybe not the best wrestlers in their division but they had the sexy body that made them superstars. Would love to have them in Universe mode as managers for Austin or Triple H.

Ivory? I loved her character when she was a part of Right to Censor and a very underrated diva who in my opinion gets overshadowed by Trish and Lita or Chyna.

Godfather? Could his character work in the PG WWE? NO! Could his Kama Mustafa work? YES! So it’s more likely we see Kama Mustafa than Godfather thanks to his entrance. Without the HOS there is no Godfather.

The Radicals without Chris Benoit. Could it work? Should they mention The Radicals or should they only include Eddie. But without Malenko and Saturn there is no Eddie as he started with those guys in the Attitude Era. In my opinion THQ should include them separately and not give some attention to Benoit even if we all know who he was.

Too Cool and Rikishi. 3 guys who got well over with the kids. Started in the Attitude Era and ended in the Attitude Era. Rikishis dive from the Steel Cage against Val Venis is an OMG Moment and don’t forget the Chokeslam he received from Undertaker.

2 guys that I don’t think complained about not getting a decent storyline or didn’t fight for the top gold but played their part of the Attitude Era and made their character something we could pay attention to, I am speaking of the Holly Cousins. Crash the guy who was billed as a 400+ pound wrestler and his “Cousin” Hardcore Holly made some memorable moments in the hardcore division. Crash Holly, The Houdini of Hardcore won the Hardcore Title 22 times and as I saw in his face he loved everything about it. So if THQ is going to have the Hardcore title (which I believe they are going to have) THQ need to include two guys who was a part of it almost the whole time.

In this list I am going to include wrestlers I think THQ are not going to pick: X-Pac, Chyna, Test, Albert, Raven, Bull Buchanan, Steven Richards, Jeff Jarrett, D’Lo Brown and Chris Benoit.
They all have something that I believe WWE doesn’t want to have in the WWE 13 game and therefor they are not going to be included.

Well that’s all folks! Please check my Part 1 and be sure to read my next blog which is about which wrestlers should be included in the WWE 13 game from the current era. And if you are not down with that I got 2 words for ya! READ IT!

Hello my fellow wrestling fans. I am going to blog about matches from Attitude Era that some of us maybe forgot and made an impact to the WWF...

Hello my fellow wrestling fans. I am going to blog about matches from Attitude Era that some of us maybe forgot and made an impact to the WWF storylines. I am only going to include matches that were on RAW IS WAR because in 3 weeks we are going to see the 1000th episode of Raw.
So I have made this clear now. If my spelling is bad then blame the 5 english teachers i have had in my life.

The first match i picked for the first blog of this type is a Tag Team match. This is unusual match because we had 4 guys who were faces at the time. The wrestlers were none other than New Age Outlaws vs.The Rock and Austin. I don’t know if any of you remember this match so much but this has some really deep storyline telling here. I am going to include every single piece that i found about this storyline so if i missed something please tell me.

I have said this in my other blogs so I am going to include this sentence every time. I am not going to spoil about the match because i feel that it’s better to watch it with your own eyes so you can build your own opinion about it. If you guys want me to put the match in my future blogs please tell me.
October 25, 1999 Providence RI, New Age Outlaws vs. The Rock and Austin

The main storyline for this match was that The Rock and Austin were in a rivalry with Triple H and feuded for the WWF title. Austin had lost a title match against Triple H at No Mercy 1999. At the same PPV The Rock beat Bulldog so he could remove a guy who was blocking his way to the WWF title story. After the win, The Rock challenged the WWF title holder for a match at Survivor Series. The night after the No Mercy PPV Austin also challenged Triple H for the WWF title. At this time we had two contenders so Vince announced a Triple Threat match at Survivor Series.

New Age Outlaws was a very hot tag team at this time and was involved in the World Tag team picture. They feuded with Foley and Al Snow for the World Tag team titles in almost a month to build up their Survivor Series match. New Age Outlaws won the tag titles from Foley and Snow a week before Survivor Series. Foley and Snow got their rematch at that PPV.

Oh I almost forgot this part. Why I chose this match was because it had all the things that can make a match be remembered. You have the 4 biggest superstars at that time in a Tag team match. 4 guys who were the most over guys in the WWF at that time. And you have 4 guys who could and can wrestle. Add a very hot Providence crowd who made this match even better. If I need to rate the match I am rating it a 4 star out of 5 stars. Just because of the in ring talent, mic skills and the insane crowd. And don't forget, the awesome commentary by Lawler and Ross.

Well that’s all for me and I promise you I am going to choose matches that had an impact to a storyline. Not just a random single match, but a match with wrestling, entertainment and logic to the build up.

Top 5 I Quit matches
We have extreme rules, last man standing and we have the I Quit match. No match is more brutal imo than the I quit match. To win an I quit match you need to make your opponent say the words I quit.

This time I’m going to rate the top 5 I quit matches in the wrestling history. This is my opinion about the matches so take your time and share your own opinion about this topic. As always I am not going to spoil anything from the match. Comment if I should spoil anything on my later posts.

Nr.5 November 28, 1985 Greensboro NC (NWA Starrcade) Tully Blanchard vs Magnum TA for the NWA US Title in a Steel Cage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfIWFLlzDJk

I was not born when this feud was on but i tried to get some information about it. This feud started sometimes between March and July 1985 when these two wrestlers started to feud about the NWA US Title. Magnum who won it in March hold it for 4months until Blanchard won it from him in July. For a couple of months they had a couple of matches but the match of the match was the I quit match at Starrcade. This match was the first ever televised I quit match and a good one too. I rate this match a 3,5 out of 5 stars because this match is a classic wrestling match and two very good in ring wrestlers.

Nr.4 May 22, 2005 Minneapolis MN (WWE Judgment Day)
John Bradshaw Layfield vs John Cena for the WWE Title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkhhXefE_lE

I don’t remember this feud so much, but I remember that this feud started before WrestleMania 21. John Cena won the WWE Title from JBL and they were no contender for Cena’s title. For the upcoming weeks on Smackdown prior to Judgment Day 2005 8 wrestlers demanded a title shot against Cena. JBL won the matches he wrestled and earned a title shot. At this time they both hold the WWE Title since Cena introduced the spinner belt and JBL used the old design of the WWE Title. The match they had at Judgment Day wasn’t one of the best one but I put it on nr4 because of the two brawlers they both are. Both Cena and JBL were pretty bashed and the blood just dripped from the head. I rate this a 3,5 star out 5 and I think this is one of the best matches Cena had.

Nr.3 November 22, 2008 Chicago IL (ROH Rising Above)
Austin Aries vs Jimmy Jacobs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1uirs_aFlI

I’m sorry but I haven’t watched a show from Ring of Honor and I wanted to include one match from them. I know that they produce very technical and fast wrestling matches and I think many of you guys haven’t watched this. I tried to find some background story from this feud and I found a little information about it. This feud began when Austin stole Jacobs valet from him. Jacobs got angry and they wanted to end this in an I Quit match. This is one of the brutal matches I have ever seen from Ring of Honor. The ending in this match just left me speechless and is a must see for you wrestling fans. I rate this match a 4,5 star out of 5 because in my opinion these two wrestlers just wanted to kill each other. This is a very technical match and just showed me that I need to watch a show sooner or later.

Nr.2 January 24, 1999 Anaheim CA (WWE Royal Rumble)
Mankind vs The Rock for the WWF Title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a18Ep1shPdE

This rivalry started in 1998 Survivor Series when these two met in the tournament final for the WWF Title. The Rock won the title thanks to the McMahons who helped him. The Rock became the poster boy for the stable The Corporation and Mankind the “rebel” who wanted to remove the stable from the WWF. These two later wrestled on the IYH Rock Bottom PPV for the WWF title and in the end Mankind became the new champion. The rivalry did not stop there and they challenged each other in an I Quit match at Royal Rumble 1999. That match was gruesome and very brutal. These two could really wrestle each other with excellent storytelling and two good brawlers. I rate this match a 4,5 out of 5 star because of the ending. If the ending was better I would rate it a perfect 5 star. But those chair shots was a OMG moment.

Nr.1 November 15, 1989 Troy NY (NWA Clash of the Champions IX)
Terry Funk vs Ric Flair in a non-title match
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bkey1MHblbY

I wasn’t born at this time and I have never watched a NWA PPV. I tried to find some information about this feud but it’s the match that made it to the Nr.1. Ric Flair the face in this match who was the biggest star at the time (Maybe Hogan) and Terry Funk one of the greatest wrestlers ever in my opinion. These two technical wrestlers made this I Quit match and showed that an I Quit match doesn’t need the brutality in it nor the blood. The match had it all, the brawling, the technicality and the excellent timing between these two excellent wrestlers. As I said I’m sorry for not telling the feud in the beginning but you guys need to watch the match and tell your own opinion about it. I rate this match a perfect 5 out 5 star because the technical and the storytelling between these two wrestlers. Two guys with a charisma some of the wrestlers don’t have or had.

If my grammar or my english is bad don't blame me blame my english teacher and the swedish schools. :D

Top 5 Ironman matches

When you watch a wrestling match you look at the technical talent inside the ring. A standard match often takes up to 20 min, but sometimes it can go for an hour.

This time I’m going to rank the top 5 ironman matches. An iron man match is a 30 or 60 min wrestling match with the standard rules for a match. The wrestler who has the most decisions at the end of the match is then the winner. There have been 13 ironman matches and I have tried to watch all the ironman matches but not every second of the match. I’m not going to spoil the ending so take a couple of minutes of your life and watch the highlights of every match if you want.

Nr.5 June 20, 1992 Mobile AL (WCW Beach Blast)
Ricky Steamboat vs Rick Rude
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xkt...ast-1992_sport

This feud started in February 1992. After Rude had won the WCW US-Title from Sting, Steamboat challenged Rude for the title at the SuperBrawl 1992. Rude successfully retained the title and the feud could keep on. This rivalry ended at Beach Blast 1992 when Steamboat fought Rude in a 30 min iron man match. I think this match is a little bit underrated and I don’t think many guys have watched it. Rude one of the best heels ever, showed WWF that he really was a top guy who should’ve won the WWF title at that time. This was the first televised ironman match and a classic wrestling match with two very technical wrestlers. I rate this match a 3,5 star out of 5 because this was a good match but maybe better with the title on the line because of the rivalry between them.

Nr.4 May 21, 2000 Louisville KY (WWF Judgment Day)
Triple H vs The Rock for the WWF title /w Shawn Michaels as special guest referee
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGtcEnqTGqE

This feud really started in 2000 after WrestleMania 16, but had been up and down for a year on. Rock who had lost the title at WM16 thanks to Vince tried to capture it back, which he did at Backlash 2000. For a couple of months they had a good rivalry which did not end at Judgment Day. At this PPV these two fought in a 60min ironman match. The match wasn’t the best technical match I have seen but it was a good match thanks to the crowd reaction both got. I rate this match a 3,5 star out of 5 because the match didn’t live up to my high expectations.

Nr.3 October 23 2005 Orlando FL (TNA Bound for Glory)
AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels for the X-Division title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25FPha3l7FM

This rivalry started in January 2005. These two wrestlers had a very good iron man match at Against all Odds 2005. At that PPV AJ Styles retained the X-division title. The rivalry took a time off for a couple of months but started again in September 2005. One month later at Bound for Glory AJ and Daniels would fight in another ironman match for the X-division title. This match imo was a little better than the first one they had. These two showed that they are the top guys of the TNA and thanks to them they made TNA. This match is one of the best matches I have watched in TNAs history, a very good technical match with very nice spots. I rate this match a 4,5 star out of 5 because of their long feud and their excellent timing with their moves they have together.

Nr.2 September 18 2003 Raleigh NC (WWE Smackdown)
Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle for the WWE title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36D0z9LbF8M

This rivalry started in July 2003 before the Vengeance PPV 2003. Lesnar and Angle fought for about 3 months for the WWE title. The feud would finally end in an ironman match at Smackdown. This is the only ironman match held on Smackdown and arguably one of the best Smackdown matches ever. In this match Lesnar really showed how a good wrestler he is and Angle imo got carried in this match. This match had it all from Kurt Angles moonsault to one of the best endings in a wrestling match. I rate this match a 5 star out of 5 because of the in ring talent and the timing between these two were very good. The only complain I got is that this match should’ve been at a PPV.

And now for the best iron man match and I think you guys know which match it is.

Nr.1 March 31 1996 Anaheim CA (WrestleMania 12)
Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart for the WWF title
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K843S7hw0sA

This rivalry started after Shawn Michaels won the Royal Rumble 1996. Michaels put his nr1 contender spot against Owen Hart and won the match, after the match he focused on Bret Harts title. This is the first televised ironman match in the WWE and the best one to. These two wrestlers would put an amazing match and imo one of the best Wrestlemania main events ever. You had two of the best technical wrestlers inside the same ring for more than an hour. I was impressed that the match went to 1-0 which made the fans get into the match more.
I rate this match a perfect 5 star out of 5 because of the in ring talent and the technical moves they delivered. This is a classic wrestling match you need to watch.

Thank you all for reading this and this is my opinion, feel free to share your own one. :)

My first official blog here, very unusual blog. We always like tag team matches and i think everybodys favorite feud was dudleys vs hardys vs E-C. Those matches were awesome and the team were paired up with 2 guys.

But what im going to rank is 10 man tag team matches. These matches are very hard to rank because often you have a couple of guys teaming up with no stoyrline involved. I found and watched a couple of BTB (big team battle) matches and was impressed about the talent in the matches, so here we go.

If im missing a match or two blame me for not watching them because im going from 1999 to 2012.

(I think i can only link 1 video so im saving it for the Nr.1)
Nr.3 November 27, 2005 Detroit Michigan (Survivor Series)
Team Smackdown (Batista, Rey, JBL, Lashley and Orton) vs
Team Raw (HBK, Kane, Big Show, Carlio and Masters)

This feud started in october 3 2005 at a homecoming show on Raw. The brand extension was at it highest peak and the rivarly was very hot. I liked this match because it was what i wanted to see, a match between raw and smackdown. The match was the Main Event at SS 2005.
This was also the event that Eddie Guerrero would have participated in but sadly he died 2 days before. It was also the return of the Undertaker who was off tv for about 2months.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gShw...eature=related
I rate this match a 3,5 star out of 5 and im sorry but i think its better that you guys watch the match than i review it.

I think im gonna get much heat from this but i placed this match the second just because of the booking.
Nr.2 November 18, 2001 Greensboro NC (Survivor Series)
Team WWF ( The Rock, Y2J, Kane, Undertaker and Big Show) vs
Team ECW/WCW (Steve Austin, Angle, RVD, Booker T and Shane)

The whole feud started at the last Nitro after Wrestlemania 17. WWF had bought both ECW and WCW so there was no competition left. Shane took over WCW and Stephanie took over ECW. After a very hot feud for about 4 months it was ended at the Survivor Series 2001 with a 10man tag team match for a winner takes all match. The match was pretty solid but you could figure out whos going to win before the event.
I rank this match a 4 star out of 5.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsAc5Fl5VWI

I placed this match on second place just because the angle would have been even better if the "Alliance" werent WWF guys. If they had brought in NWO, Goldberg, Ric Flair this feud would have been one of the best ever.

In my opinion one of the best matches and raw main event ever.
Nr.1 February 7 2000 Dallas Texas (Raw Is War)
Team Triple H (Triple H, X-pac, Beniot, Malenko and Saturn) vs
Team Mick Foley (Foley, The Rock, Too Cool and Rikishi)

I dont know but i love this match and i probably have watched it more than 10 times. This was a very hot feud between Triple H and Foley. It started in late 1999. These two wrestlers had a pretty nasty street fight at RR 2000. After that match Foley got kicked from WWF but reinstated by The Rock and the rest of the roster. The Radicalz had made their debut, but could not get any contracts as they failed on Triple H challenge. Foley got them a job but Radicalz betrayed him and they got in the match.

This feud led them to a match which Triple H made a 5 on 1 match. The Rock and Too Cool, rikishi got involved and the match was a 5 on 5 match.

As i said im not going to review the match itself because its better you see it with your own eyes. I rate this match a 4,5 out 5 star because the crowd was just awesome and the talent inside the ring was very good.

I hope you guys enjoyed this very unusual blog and i accept any kind of opinion as this is my first blog. Please take a moment or two and watch the matches.
