Oh yeah, certainly. Their's a huge mix on here before even considering the other millions of fans.
I like the spectacle as a whole, I enjoy wrestling but the entertainment keeps me watching.
Some storylines are just so good I'd go out of my way to watch, it's what brought me back a few years ago. (Nexus) And it's what'll keep me around for a while yet.
That makes sense. If you're more for the storyline and "show" aspect, then I can see why the Indies aren't up you ally. I find it interesting though and it only helps affirm the theory that we all watch wrestling through a different set of lenses.
Personally, it's the athleticism in the choreographed matches that keep me watching. I'd rather watch a TV drama like Suits for a storyline, but I can see how the extravagant stories in wrestling can hook someone for that aspect alone.
Haha! Never even heard of it, although apart from football I don't really care for other sports.
To be honest I don't even watch most of the wrestliing on RAW or Smackdown as I'm more a fan of the entertainment, promos, storylines etc. Probably why I don't care for indies.
Fair enough... I didn't know that you guys thought World of Sport wasn't big enough in its prime
But that's okay; just trying to spread wrestling knowledge, ya know
Fair play son! But I agree with Akkie on this, no interest in any wrestling that doesn't have flashing lights.
Only to the Brits that I consider worth conversing with
I thought the interview with Carrie Dunn was interesting enough and figured most of you guys who had the chance to experience British wrestling might enjoy it.
An no, I sent it to Robstar too... He's not American but in no way is he a Brit.
Did you send this to every Brit on here?
While I'm thinking about it...
I'm listening to this podcast now. The interview with Lex was nice and makes me want to read his new book. The interview with Carrie Dunn made me want to start searching a bit more British wrestling. Nothing news worthy, but if you get a chance, check it out.
Great blog son, 5 stars!
Haha nice, I freaking love Will Smith and MIB!
