Yeah, it was really, really good.
Have you seen Fruitvale Station yet?
Yeah, the sandwich-grenade scene is one of the most fucked-up, insanely compelling scenes in the history of television. No hyperbole, either. My jaw was on the floor for a good 20 minutes after that shit happened.
"I'm sorry, man... I'm so sorry!"
And the last line of the episode? Chills.
"We're gonna find out who did this, and we're gonna kill 'em."
I recently had resumed watching The Shield from season 5, Forest Whitaker was exceptional in every scene he was in with that lazy eye and evil smile, but I can't believe what Shane just did to Lem.
Oh you wanted it as a pm
Hey, could you PM me that Only God Forgives link? Would be much appreciated.
I did think the show peaked around season 4 but yeah, the quality of writing by Mathew Weiner is still at the highest standard.
I've yet to catch the episode from this past Sunday, but I've seen everything else. And so far, the show doesn't appear to be missing a beat. It's one of those rare shows, like The Shield or Breaking Bad, where it just gets better as it goes.
What do you think of Mad Men season 6 so far?
I didn't know Glenn Close is on the show, she's stealing every episode she's in for me, what a legend.
The general supporting actors hired are more high profiled now as well, I've noticed.
