R.I.P. To Matt Hardy's Fans

Hey guys. I for one was a very huge fan of Matt Hardy's. I've been backing up everything he's done that people complained about for the longest time until his last mix up with TNA and arriving late for shows.
Now I will be completely honest, I will always respect and adore Matt Hardy the performer, but the person has really lost a lot of my liking. I wouldn't say I disrespect him, however I'd say I don't really understand who he is anymore.
I did not start watching wrestling until 1999 in which I was 8 years old. Kids in my school were buzzing about The Hardy's & Edge & Christian's matches so I had no choice but to watch and have been addicted since and Matt was the one that kept me watching.
Matt's Downfall #1: Bad Booking
Let's be honest, fan or not, Hardy deserved to have a higher spot on the card when he was with the WWE especially in 2005. His name was buzzing with the whole Edge & Lita thing and his work really improved then.
Matt's Downfall #2: Lack of Credibility
Matt has turned into a big mouth idiot. He's been a midcarder his whole life and I begin to feel that if it wasn't for basic technology aka the Internet, we wouldn't be discussing him. He's made himself credibile by having a big mouth. Its not good credibilty but in his mind it is.
Matt's Downfall #3: Lack Of Maturity
Matt has to realize that complaining on the internet to fans via youtube about your spot is not going to make your employers very happy. I supported him just because I was a fan but deep down I knew he was nuts.
The Difference Between Hardy & Zack Ryder:
Zack Ryder was a nobody. He's new to the game. He had no pull backstage. He couldn't walk up to Vince or confide in a veteran because he had no stripes earned.
Ryder took it to the internet so people could find out just who the hell he is and I respect and commend him for that. If they won't book you, book yourself and thats what he did.
Matt Hardy however was a seasoned WWE veteran. He knows the in's and out's of the business. He had a large amount of friends backstage. He had respect. I don't see why he couldn't have reasoned with the creative team in a better way.
I'm sure Matt tried his best to reason with the WWE over his spot but just because they say no doesn't mean you literally make an ass of yourself on the internet.
Matt Hardy vs Shelton Benjamin
There's a more mature way to walk away from the company. I always think of Shelton Benjamin and how respectful he was after being released by the WWE. Shelton might have been the most underrated and under-utilized talent this business has ever seen. He had decent mic skills but absolutely was AMAZING in the ring.
Shelton Benjamin spent 10 years as a midcarder and part-time jobber. He was then released but instead of crying, he paid respect to the WWE for giving him a chance. He was not bitter at all and handled that like a man.
We internet fans complained publically more than Shelton for his own release.
Matt Hardy couldn't handle his situation like this.
The Straw That Broke The Camels Back:
The TNA trouble with him arriving late really summed up the kind of person he is.
Matt did everything to get out the WWE and I applauded him because he kept promissing that he would "CHANGE THE FACE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING FOREVER". That's what he said.
He had his opportunity to do just that in TNA and can't even arrive to shows on time. Not only is he disrespecting his fans but he's disrespecting himself.
We had your back when you were bashing the WWE on your videos when they sent you home but now TNA has also sent you home. You literally pissed off two companies within less than a year.
You did all that talk and you had a golden opportunity to shake things up in TNA but you can't arrive on time? Cmon Matt, your too talented for that
My Mistake #1:
I recently made a blog titled "Matt Hardy: Thanks For Making Wrestling Interesting". You can read that blog at the link below.
http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/commun...ng-Interesting
I defended him and bashed the fans for always bashing him. I explained how he used the internet to make himself a factor again.
After looking at some of his videos again and now looking at how he's screwing up in TNA but also taking shots at them...I realize that I was wrong. His videos make him look stupid.
I realize that he's only human but damn.
My Mistake #2: Writing This Blog
Writing this blog is a mistake because this is exactly what Hardy wants. He loves to be loved and hated at the sametime. This is the amount of attention he wants.
He knows that Ryan Clark has the most visited Wrestling Site and he personally hates Clark so I'm sure he visits this site. He wants the attention. We are all giving it to him. Sad but true, we are giving this man attention which is only fuel to his fire.
My whole life, I've been always saying "Look at how cool Matt is" everytime people bring up Jeff's drug problems. I always used to say that Jeff should learn from his brother. Now I think Matt learned from his brother.
If I sound bidder its only because I love Matt Hardy dearly. Watching him embarrass himself is like watching my favorite NBA & NFL teams (The Atlanta Hawks & Minesota Vikings) be defeated in the playoffs. Thats what I feel like when I watch Hardy.
Note To Hardy:
From a dear fan, please read this.
I'm representing all the true Hardy fans. Please stop doing this to yourself. I know your human, we all make mistakes. The difference is that you have alot of good to offer to the professional wrestling industry whether its the WWE, TNA, ROH, AAA, or whatever promotion.
It's not too late to make a comeback. You busted your ass and lost a ton of weight and thats commendable. You looked the haters in the eye that called you "Fat Hardy" and lost the weight.
It's not too late to prove to Vince or Dixie that you can be a factor. If you ever decide to go back to the WWE, remember that Vince loves contreversy. He will accept you back just to make a buzz for the WWE.
I do believe its too late for Jeff but theres still hope if he can overcome his demons. Hardy you've been a workhorse your whole career, you carried the Hardy Boyz but Jeff got the attention because he did the risky highlight reel moves.
Cut the crap, stop all the talk and do what you do best...WRESTLE.
Sincerely,
Your True Fans
