WWE: A New Frontier...

Ok first off I am new to this scene but I have been looking through here for about 3 weeks...ever since CM Punk shocked the world with his infamous rant I have been searching for the real story behind it. It led me to this site where I have been finding a lot of interesting reads. Now I am motivated enough to give you some of my ideas on how the WWE should proceed and bring back the excitement that has been missing for so long and sorry in advance because I tend to get long winded.
So after MITB there's this period of confusion about what's about to happen. CM Punk is gone from TV as the champion and now they are trying to crown a new champion and after last night it's clear that HHH is going to be taking over for Vince on-screen and behind the scenes in real life sometime soon...now everyone has their own theroy on how to proceed from here and here is mine....
Is it me or does anyone else out there love HHH? I have followed his entire career from the time he created DX with Shawn Michaels. Even when Michaels left and HHH assumed control I followed him through that journey and never stopped watching. You could say I'm a big fan. So I feel that before he fully assumes the reigns of WWE behind the scenes and maybe as an on screen character that he should be properly retired from the ring. Like I said I followed his entire career and more than anything I respect him for his wrestling abilities. He was a technical assassin and a true in-ring legend and I think he should be retired properly before he moves into the corporate role.
The Undertaker is the perfect man to do this...at Wrestlemania....Hell in a Cell!!!! How awesome would that be? The two men who are defined one of the greastest matches in history get it on one more time in a match they made famous. HHH retires and Taker can retire too with his streak at 20-0. Now I know some of you are gonna say that this is unbelievable and a bad idea but think about it...that would be a huge draw and after the match they put on last year this match has the chance to eclipse that. But most importantly it is the foundation of a revolution in the WWE.
HHH retires and becomes a suit. Now for those of you that don't remember HHH proved that he can pull off an on-screen boss role with the McMahon/Helmsly regime so it already is believeable. The key though is that now after Wrestlemania HHH no longer looks like he can beat up half the guys in the locker room. That is important because remember it has to be believeable and how would anyone feud with the boss if it seems like the boss can just kick their butt anyway. So now HHH is a full suit. Maybe he can pull out some style with some custom made suits like he did in Evolution (the guy can do it all!!).
Since Wrestlemania is a way off and it would be too early to build this match now what should happen in the meantime?? Well the WWE crowns a new champion. At Summerslam CM Punk returns and claims that he is the real champion. The two champions clash to determine who is the true WWE champion. After that they feud for a couple of months back and forth for the title until around December. The you could build for HHH/Taker at Wrestlemania. Also at wrestlemania Rock/Cena have their match...you can have Orton/Sheamus/Christian for the World heavyweight title...CM Punk/Miz for the WWE title but none of this is really important in the grand scheme of things so these matches are just examples..the only important thing is that HHH is retired and CM Punk is WWE champion.
Now HHH is a suit. Immediately after wrestlemania he comes out..introduces a few 'stooges' and an enforcer (sound familiar). He says that CM Punk is not the kind of guy who should be champion, beginning their feud. Then HHH selects 'his guy' and CODY RHODES appears. Now before I continue let me defend the choice of Cody Rhodes. Rhodes is a guy who I wasn't a fan of at first but the guy clearly has it. Mic skills and in ring ability and the ability to be a heel but more than that it is just a good fit with HHH. The Legendary boss hand picks the son of a legend to lead the company into the next era. Cody is the guy. Now Punk is seen like the Stone Cold of the WWE always trying to regain the title especially after he has been slighted his entire career. One of the opportunities this brings up is the chance to transition from this PG era that many believe (including myself) is killing WWE. HHH is a badass dude so he can be the one who leads the way by cursing a little more and having superstars assualted backstage.
Now this next part I expect will be highly scrutinized and that's fine but remember it's just my kayfabe little idea. The big change that HHH institutes in his attempt to show that he is the new boss unifies the WWE once again!!! No more split rosters. Unify the WHC and the WWE title..keep the Intercontinental title and the US titles as the mid-card titles. Also this is gonna be huge for those of you who have called for the resurrection of the tag team division in WWE. With one roster that can share two shows per week and 3 hour PPV there is now room to have at least 3 solid tag teams to showcase. Now for those of us who grew up in the attitude era we remember what being in a tag team can do for a young career...Edge, Jeff Hardy, Christian etc. So this is a chance to give guys like Trent Barretta and Zach Ryder a chance to show us what they're made of. Another great thing about unifying the brands is that now you have all the top talent going against each other. It can be done without it always having to be Cena vs. Orton..I remember it wasn't always Austin vs. Rock...they had Rock vs. Mankind..Austin vs. Undertaker...Rock vs. HHH so it is definitely possible to keep it fresh. With two mid card titles guys like Ted Dibiase, Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Alex Riley, Daniel Bryan all have something to do to keep them relevant. In the Main Event Scene you have guys like Punk, Rhodes, Mark Henry, Sheamus, Christian, Miz and others and have them rotate especially when injuries and fatigue start happening. Also this allows a chance to start up new factions. Wrestiling was fun when you had groups like the coporation, DX, the Ministry, even small groups like the Brood! In fact, let CM Punk have his straight edge society and let him go up against HHH new coporation! Some things I'm kidding about because you don't want to re-live the late 90's entirely (well, I do!) but the important things like unifying the brands and having HHH as boss I think would actually save the WWE from the pitiful state is has been in recently.
That's how I would work this all out...HHH as the boss...no more PG era....unify the brands and the WWE title...keep it fresh in the Main Event..more tag teams and push guys who have paid their dues. With Triple H as the new boss both on screen and backstage I think that is one thing that is important to him...push those who deserve it because we've seen recently guys like CM Punk, Christian, Mark Henry, Sheamus, Drew McIntryre all showing that they have the ability but are not receiving the proper push. And I know HHH and I remember when he felt slighted during his career. Well I know that was rough and I still didn't get to say everything I wanted but remember it was my very first blog so don't be too hard on me
