I was there when Cena made his debut against angle on smackdown. this guy went from looking and acting like a robot (which was expected because in ohio valley he was known as the prototype) to a silk talking rapper all in a mere short months. who remembers that smackdown halloween episode when he dressed up like vanilla ice? lol anyway from there a funny thing happened he began to get popular and went on to win the title this you already know now heres the intresting part......
why do people hate Cena? he is nothing more than a puppet and vince is pulling the strings. if management books Cena to be unstoppable then thats what he's gonna do its up not to him. he doesnt have creative control over his character. i dont think people really understand that logic thats y people hate him so. because he was "forced down people's throats" kind of like the rock when he debuted after awhile people turned on him and we all know where that lead to....
I figured out they were making Cena the new "it" when i was watching smackdown a few episodes before WM21 and it was cena against all 3 members of the FBI (nunzio johnny chuck) and he beat them in less than 10 mins. i mean come on 3guys and you dominate them? i knew then what management was doing was i thrilled about it? no. did i understand? yeah i did. He makes the company so much money in dvd sales merchandise and represents the company well on tv shows and talk shows thats why theyre still hesistant about turning him heel all the way notice hes not wearing a nexus shirt just yet. And i can imagine the uproar if he is the one to stop the undertaker's streak at WM talk about mass hysteria.....
Say what u want and im not a Cena fan but fact is fact. you wana get to the top you have to do what you're told. plus moving merchandise and having charisma helps along the way.
