Joplin: 1 Year Later and Wrestling.

I don't know when this will get posted, but it is time for me to reflect on the year gone by. 1 year ago, my hometown and my home personally was blown away. I will never forget what happened that day. I'll admit, compared to a lot, I a lucky person. I didn't lose anyone in my family. I didn't lose a single friend. So many others did.
I don't have many possessions left from before the storm. Nor would I really want them, I think. This town lost so much more than me. But through it all, it is getting so much better. I love my town.
One of my hobbies is being an avid wrestling fan. WWE and TNA both. It is one of the things that helped me through such a trying and tense time. I could live vicariously through the wrestlers. I could live through them for 2 hrs on Monday and Thursday nights. I could get a way mentally for awhile.
The things they said. The way they acted. What they did. Saying what I couldn't say. Acting out in ways I didn't. Doing things I wouldn't. I did it all through them. Through that. I experienced some joy, when I had the time.
I have Family, Friends and Wrestling. I wouldn't give that up for anything.
