This Blog is about the recent comments of Former WCW/TNA/WWF Superstar "Kevin Nash". Here are the comments he made that has sent a rage in the wrestling community. Not only in fans but more so in wrestlers.

"When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business," he says. "Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two f****** guys that were great workers that were the same height as the f****** referees, and I'm sorry, man. Are you going to watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick? Even if you're not gay, you will not watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick. That's not the standard in porno films. So you put a 5-foot-7 guy as your world champion."

The moment that is being debated.

He has the same problem with today's Internet heroes, Phil "CM Punk" Brooks and Bryan "Daniel Bryan" Danielson.
"They are not bigger than life," he says. "I bet they could both walk through airports and not be noticed unless they have a gimmick shirt on and the belt."


Alot of people are pointing out how Nash is a terrible worker and couldn't wrestle a watchable match unless Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels dragged him kicking and screaming and alot of people have been arguing how Kevin Nash has the right to voice his opinion and people shouldn't give him backlash. Well I wont spend alot of time talking about Nash's Work ethic cause I cant say anything that has not already been said before, Even Nash himself admitted at times he is not a great performer. To the members of the IWC that will say that he has the right to voice his opinion I agree with you but you have to suffer the consequences for everything you say and expect the backlash and those who don't agree with Nash have the right to voice their opinion also.

Nash compared Wrestling to a porn, He claims that Benoit and Eddie wrestling was like a porn star with a 3 inch penis, Basically claiming they had no right to be in the wrestling Business.... Well here is how I will debate that. Lets say there was a Pornographic movie staring a man with a 3 inch penis and that penis was constantly erect and the woman starring in the movie was beautiful. Not only was the man using his penis but he was also performing oral sex on another woman and using his 2 hands to make 2 other women orgasm and all 4 women have a intense orgasm at the same time......... Now their is another Pornographic movie with a man who has a lets say 10 inch penis but it was useless, it couldnt get erect in any way and the woman he was staring with was out of shape and unsatisfied. Which porn would Kevin Nash want to watch?....... Is this a stupid comparison? yes it is very dumb, just as dumb as Kevin Nash comparing Great performers as Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit to 3 inch penises. These men have passed on and without a doubt that was a rude comment by Kevin Nash. He said he considered himself a friend of both men? Then he should of been more sensitive to these mens remaining family members and Friends and worded himself in a much more respectable manor.


Now When Nash talks about Size he is talking about a person looking intimidating, Like they could beat anyones ass in legit fight. Well I ask the wrestling fans, If you were walking down the street, who would you be more intimidated of, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit or X-pac and Shawn Michaels... Shawn Michaels maybe a excellent performer and a inch or so taller than Benoit but Benoit has about 20 pounds of muscle mass over Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero about 10 pounds. I would be much more fearful to tangle with a Eddie Guerrero or a Benoit over a Shawn Michaels or a X-Pac.

Now to Nashs comments about Wrestlemania 20 killing the business cause of Benoit and Guerrero being in the main event, Nash claims business has been going down ever since and it killed the WWE. Lets see how correct those facts are.

The lowest buyrate in History for a Wrestlemania is Wrestlemania 13 with the main event being Sid vs The Undertaker. These men are close to 7 foot tall but still it has the least buys of all the Wrestlemanias at 237,000....
Wrestlemania 20, The one that killed the business and made wrestling go in a never ending downward spiral had 1,007,000 PPV buys, Which is over 4 times the Buys of the 7 foot monsters main eventing..... Nash then says that the business has never recovered after that moment. Well since then Wrestlemania numbers have been high with 23 breaking all records then Wrestlemania 28 shattering that record.... so im not understanding where Nash is getting his information from.


Kevin Nash needs to understand that by himself he is not a draw. Sure the NWO was a huge Ratings success but Nash was just a brick in the wall. It was mostly cause people thought the NWO were still working with the WWE to destroy WCW (which isn't really too far from the truth except they weren't working for WWE). Nash on his own wasn't a huge draw.

also Bruno Sammartino was about 5'7 was one of the biggest draws back in the WWWF territory days.

I understand where Nash is coming from but to say smaller guys dont belong in main events or to say that Benoit and Guerrero being champion destroyed wrestling is just insane and a very poorly thought out comment.
