Would They Be Better Off: Punk, Bryan, Ryder, More

Hey fans. DK Wrestling Savior here, putting out a special blog based on something I was thinking about. Now, I stopped watching WWE after Raw 1000, and while there are definitely some things I miss, it's a decision I don't regret. Based on things I've seen in passing, or read from blogs that are written by some friends of mine on here, or updates from my brother who still watches, I have a decent idea of what's happening and I'm not exactly missing a whole lot. Staying dedicated to TNA is just fine for me. I've spent some time catching up on TNA from like 05 and 06. Boy did I miss out. And one stand out during that time, is a current WWE wrestler who made an appearance at this past year's Slammiversary...Christian...or Christian Cage as he was known. So, that compelled me to write this blog.
In what I know about WWE since Raw 1000, it's that Christian has lost two matches in which he was putting over a younger talent, but it was in virtual squash fashion. A total disservice to someone like Christian if you ask me. I know he's aging and will probably not accomplish much more in WWE, he's someone who could have a very successful return in TNA. He had a great reception at Slammiversary I would love to see him back.
But...That Goes Without Saying. In the midst of all this mid carder unhappiness that's being reported, I've compiled a list of wrestlers who might be better served in TNA, rather than WWE. Remember, I'm not saying they should or will go, I'm saying it might be better for them.
Drew Mcintyre
He got pushed in a big way when he debuted. But it just never happened for him since. WWE had opportunities to move him back into relevance, and they opted not to. Now, at this point, he's completely tainted, and if not for Linda's campaign, he would have been released already. A move to TNA would give him a fresh start.
Alex Riley
Here's another guy that has ability, and WWE just refuses to recognize it. He feuded with Miz and then dropped off the face of the earth. I don't consider NXT or Superstars to be anything but a joke, so if he's not on Raw or Smackdown, he would probably be better served on Thursday nights. He's young. He has good size and talent, and really deserves a chance to really show what he can do.
Evan Bourne
X Division. Do I really need to say more? What a great addition this guy would make. He is made for an Ultimate X match.
Trent Baretta and Yoshi Tatsu
...see above.
Okay, I got the obvious ones out of the way. Now I think it's time for some shockers.
Zack Ryder
I'm cheating a bit here because his name has been linked to the unhappy mid-carders, but he seriously would benefit from the change. He hasn't been involved in anything significant for a while, even though he's very popular. He could keep a similar gimmick, or get a fresh start to be more serious. Or he could take out his wannabe Jersey Shore boy, Robbie E. Either way, he'd be over instantly and I'm sure he could put on good matches on Impact.
Jack Swagger
Here is a guy who when I hear his name, I think, total injustice. He is such an athlete. Since TNA really focuses on quality wrestling, he would be a great fit. Matches with Angle and Joe would be awesome stuff.
And for the second biggest shocker of them all....I stand by what I said post Wrestlemania.
Daniel Bryan
YES YES YES, I said it. Let's face it. DB has already maxed out in WWE. Yes, I'm making a pretty bold statement there, but think about it. He lost to Sheamus, now there's a list for that title. He lost in his feud with Punk, now there's a list and a plan for that title. He's jobbed to Cena and to Oton. WWE again will put him in positions where people won't take him seriously. He's nothing right now, but a "Yes" catchphrase. He'll always lose to Vince McMahon's "bigger superstars" and probably won't see another top title. In TNA, he can find himself in a position to be the face of the company. The top dog, the main man. He would have great matches not just with Styles and Roode, but with Angle, and rekindle his ROH feud with Joe. If you ask me, it would just suit him better. And that leads me to...
THE BIGGEST SHOCKER OF THEM ALL...
CM Punk
Okay, yes, CM Punk is like a 5 or 6 time champ in the biggest promotion. I get that. But what does the future really hold for him? In all honestly, and there's really no way of getting around this, Punk is the top star, out of the ones who aren't top stars. He won't be headlining Wrestlemania...ever. It will always be John Cena. It will always be The Rock. It will always be some other star from the past, who has reached elite status. A status he just doesn't have, nor will he ever have. In my opinion, he's peaked. WWE did him right at the end of his last contract. They signed him back and gave him a chance at the top. But even so, he always sat second chair behind Cena. That's where TNA comes in. As would be the case with Bryan, he would have a chance to be THE MAN. They can build around him down there, and he can be it. Imagine, not only could we get more epic battles with him and Hardy, We could see Punk vs Styles or Punk vs Roode or Punk vs Aries. The situation could suit him better, and he could also be the type of talent that can take TNA to the next tier.
I'm going to close this out by rehashing what I said in the beginning. This is just food for thought. I'm not saying it's going to happen, or that it should happen. I'm not claiming that any of it will happen. All I'm saying is, What If. So before the WWE marks or TNA haters get their panties twisted and start blurting out shit like, "Well the Ryan Clark Reported This" or "The Dirt Sheets Said That", just remember, this is just a hypothetical.
Thanks for reading everyone. I'd love to hear your thoughts on who might be better served in TNA, as long as they are logical. Be Safe Everyone.
