The Five Best Suitors to Challenge the Streak

Rate this Entry
Hey everyone, last wrestlemania the legendary Undertaker became 20-0 and continue his streak. This years wrestlemania has a lot of star power as well as some veterans who would like a chance. Here is my list of the top five who may take on the Undertaker and his streak:

5. Sheamus
Sheamus has had a huge year all ready and has been on a tear since winning the royal rumble. Sheamus hasn't even lost a match in months, and has even stated he would like to face Undertaker at wrestlemania. Sheamus may have a chance at the streak since he has mass starpower over the wwe universe and his match against the Undertaker could be a classic.

4. The Rock
I know, I know many of you want to see the rock take on the undertaker but it doesn't seem likely to happen since he placed himself in the wwe championship scene. The Rock and Undertaker would be a classic matchup and a great, refreshing fued in the sometime boring WWE program.

3. Brock Lesnar
Since Lesnar returned to the WWE he has been an angery heel and wants star power over the whole company. Lesnar has a good shot at facing Undertaker at mania since they are paying him so much money and this match would be a definite blockbuster. This is Lesnar' s suposed last match on his massive contract so WWE would want a superstar type of match from him and what better opponent than Undertaker?

2. Chris Jericho
Even though they never fueded in his long career, Chris has the starpower to make this match a must-see main event. Back in Smackdown, i believe it was 2008, they both had a few amazing matches that fans want to see more of. Jericho and his mic skills would help evlevate thegreat fued, and would be a pleasure to watch in the ring.

1. John Cena
Cena and taker would be a blockbuster for all WWE fans. Cena claims he did almost everything in the current WWE setting-except one major challenge- face the undertaker at wrestlemania. Its everyone's dream to face the taker at wrestlemania and cena can put on a show for the ages. Cena would add great star power to the match and with the other veterans on the show- Wrestlemania 29 could be a show for the ages.

I want Taker to retire undefeated at WM. but if he is going to lose, I do NOT want it to be to any of these guys.

Sheamus: not there yet, and I honestly don't see him ever being there. He's pretty boring IMO and as much as HHH likes him, I don't ever see him being THE guy. A loss to him would take away from Taker's legacy.

Rock: legitimate challenger and believable. The problem, it does nothing for Rock. He's going to be gone again once it's over.

Lesnar: f*** Lesnar. He has disrespected the business too many times to get that honor.

Jericho: another legitimate and believable challenger. But once again what does it do to further his career?

Cena: the most logical choice since he's the current face of the company. But to me he just doesn't need it.

IF they are goin to has someone end the streak, it needs to be someone who is Good enough to benefit from it and be the next face of WWE.

There is no good opponent for him now imo.

Kane getting a clean victory or Shawn coming back to end his career would be a great end for his streak. Barret and Sheamus would be regular standard matches. If Cena fought him it would make so much sense to let Taker win that WWE would let Cena win imo

Win or lose, Kane would make a great choice for a final match. If they are going to have someone end the streak who doesn't have a long career ahead, it should be Kane.

I honestly think he should hang it up now. If he comes back then it should be the last match. A lot of people praised the HITC match at WM, but I didn't find it to be that good. He's just not mobile enough anymore. I've been a fan his whole career and he has nothing else to prove.

Undertakers streak is so long right now that it cannot be broken. There's no one on the WWE roster that currently derserves the honor of breaking that streak. That should be one record that stands the test of time. In fact, they should start building another streak to show the importance of the current one. Like being 49-0 as a Heavy Weight in Boxing. It's never been matched or beaten. This streak should be treated with the same reverence.

Its hard to get everything we want out of tankers match. We all want him to feud with someone hes hasnt but thing is, who has he not already feuded with that is worth hes time? Just about know one he faced pretty much everyone. Even the HBK and HHH matches he did those already with them.

Just comes down to who do you/they think is the biggest threat to end the streak. And Brock is the biggest threat if atm since he beat the last guy tanker was against.
