Honestly is this the start to the long awaited heel turn by Orton? My memory is useless when it comes to Randy Orton trivia (who can blame me) but has he ever used the punt as a face?

I've noticed that this has been a very prevailing topic among the Internet using wrestling fans of the EWN and I think it's safe to say that this same topic has been discussed on other forums and discussion boards as well. If you can't tell what I'm talking about from the title of the thread, I'll get into more detail:

From what I've been reading for you guys since Brock's return, most of the time, he's looked pretty damn weak. He's 2-2 now with one loss from John Cena at Extreme Rules last year and another loss to Triple H at Wrestlemania 29. His two victories come from two victories against Triple H with one from last year at Summerslam and one from last night at Extreme Rules. Now, before Triple H won against Triple H last night, a lot of people were saying that Brock's been looking weak. Do you now feel the same way now that Brock Lesnar has defeated Triple H in their rubber match? I'm sure that anyone interested in this topic will surely leave a comment but as for me, the answer to this question is yes.

The reason I say this is because for me, the two most influential matches in Brock Lesnar's recent tenure were against John Cena and his match with Triple H last night. For me, these two matches could make or break Brock Lesnar's mystique as an ass kicking machine. Right off the bat, his loss to John Cena ruined it. Despite playing so many mind games and coming out of left field to make Cena's life a living hell, Cena was able to overcome the odds and defeat Brock Lesnar. And then, you have his match with Triple H in that steel cage match. Sure, Brock won, but I couldn't help but be bothered with the way he was carrying himself in the match. Despite being the obvious antagonist, Brock acted more of a babyface than Triple H did. The way he was screaming and crying about his knee reminded me of a five year old who skins his knee and wants mommy to kiss it and make it better. It was kind of pathetic. Then of course, Paul Heyman had to come in and ensure that Brock would win after directly interfering with Triple H's plans to take out Brock with a sledgehammer.

So overall, despite winning the best of 3 series with Triple H, I still think he looks weak and despite legitimately looking like someone I should take seriously, I can't.

Fun little poll. Gotta know guys. Who do you see out of three wrestlers in the Shield being the most successful? Not just in terms of popularity, but title reigns and overall production of good quality TV.

I honestly think THEY ALL have the potential do great things in WWE. Each one brings something different. Roman Reigns has a GREAT look, gives off an intimidating feel, and works well as a powerhouse wrestler. Obviously, Seth Rollins is the most refined and innovative wrestler of the bunch and that might allow for some awesome matches in the future. But, if I had to pick one, it would be Dean Ambrose. He is the best talker and has the best character out of three. He has a different in-ring style that helps him stand out and someone that I easily see winning world titles. When this team splits up, I'll be watching eagerly to see what they do with this man going forward.

Your thoughts?

Actually the sequence of matches were perfectly predictable but this particular match seemed off...it looked a little to me at least like Y2J was struggling to pull a decent match out of Fanny this time...it was almost written across his face at moments like "what are you doing?" It was not the worst match on the card perhaps but it was not very well executed in the grand scheme either....thoughts?

Yea Cena is WWE champ but I am still taking this as a positive WWE is moving forward, If someone told me that these Superstars would be champs a year ago I would have laughed. I still know its WWE and it has a long way to go but I for one am glad WWE seems to be moving in the right direction and trying to build new stars. ( Time will tell if they actually do)

By no way am I saying this is going to make the titles better or more value etc, I'm saying its nice to see WWE putting trust in newer stars.

Was anyone else baffled at the sight of a WWE official going to the monitor for instant replay in the World Title #1 contenders match last night? I mean, they have always had the capabilities and never done it before. Think of all the injustices that have happened that could have been fixed with instant replay and, of all nights and matches that they could choose to run that angle, they choose that match at Extreme Rules? Whats next, are they going to review the Montreal Screw Job to see if Bret tapped?

Not the first time instant replay had been discussed tho. I believe the Bushwackers set the idea back a few years at WrestleMania 7.

Why do people keep referring to Roman Reigns as a big man? He really isn't that big. He's 6'3" and 265lbs (billed height and weight). That is not a big man by wrestling standards. He's a little above average in weight and very average in height. The likes of Swagger and Barrett stand about 4 inches above him and aren't far off in weight. He's talked about, by some, in a similar light as Batista. Yet Batista was 20 lbs and 3 inches above Reigns. Just because Ambrose and Rollins are on the smaller side doesn't make Reigns a 'big guy'.

Fuck me, I am 6'2" and was 260lbs last year, before I trained down. I certainly didn't consider myself a particularly big guy. So what is the thinking behind the constant references to his size?
