Alright buddy here goes;

At the very top of your screen you'll see "Log out" "Settings""New Posts" "Notifications" and a welcome. Click the Settings button to go into your profile. From there you'll see "Edit signature". Click it and you should be ready to rock n' roll. You can add pictures to your sig by either copying it off of a website or adding one from your computer.
