Thanks for all the suggestions my friend! And just so you know, I did try to make a Pavlova on Wednesday, but I mucked it up pretty good. My wife, however, managed to make on Thursday that I am sure was closer to how it was supposed to taste. Great food and great time’s man! Thanks for the help!!

The hit of the night were the Chocolate Crackles (which my wife thanks you for introducing her to. She loved them) and they were gone virtually after they were served. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any of the Australian beers you had on your list, so we stuck to the cheap and easy route with Coors Lt, but the girls managed to finish off a few bottles of Yellow Tail (I know, it's not the best, but it did have a Kangaroo on it! lol) I think this was one of the better themed dinner events we have hosted and everyone got a kick out of getting to horribly mangle the Australian accent. It's even better when you consider just how bad our southern draw is and then picture one of these country boys trying to mimic their best impersonation of the Croc Hunter.

Alright buddy boy; I will say that the party was a success! I went with the meat pies for the main dish and gave it a bit of a twist by adding chunks of sweet potatoes and diced carrots. I made about 24 of them (I had to borrow some smaller pie tins from my mother, but they worked nicely) and was left with 1 for lunch today. Pretty good considering there were 5 couples at the party. They were small enough for a single serving but they packed such a great taste that everyone went for seconds!

It was the 'Willis and Doodleberries' bit wasn't it? :P
