ROH issued the following:
“The Gatekeeper” Kelly Klein rode her streak of not being pinned or submitted straight to the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever Women of Honor Champion but was shocked by the winner, Sumie Sakai!
But even though she was the wrestler that lost to Sumie in the finals, she was not the first challenger to Sumie’s newly-minted title. Instead, that went to Jenny Rose, a woman that Sumie had taken under her wing early in her career. Feeling slighted, Kelly has issued a challenge to the first challenger to the Women of Honor Championship for New York City to prove that she should have been the first wrestler to challenge for the title!

Kelly Klein looks to take out her frustrations on Jenny Rose when the two meet at Ring of Honor’s International Television Taping in New York City! The two competitors have met once before, with Kelly winning via The End of the Match guillotine choke but the two competitors have traveled the world since their last meeting.
Both Jenny and Kelly traveled to Japan in the approximate year or so since their last confrontation, competing in STARDOM rings against the top international talent. Both competed in the Women of Honor Tournament, and both have been in matches with the championship at stake.
