Winning 4-0 against Portugal with Bayern. And he quits after 56 minutes!
I'll post one.
A bit of background:
I'm managing a team known as TSV 1860 Munich, a 2nd league German team that actually shares the same stadium as Bayern, who is also their rival. This is very important to note. At the time of the match, which was probably 4-5 days ago, I was sitting at #4 in the 2nd Bundesliga, just outside of the promotional playoff spot. I had just tied the top team in the league 1-1 at home and I was heading into the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal, the German Football Cup. I had upset a pair of 1st league teams on my route to this match-up. This semi-final was the last step before I got a chance to play my way into the Europa League for some major money for the club.
The semi-final was against Bayern Munich. At the time Bayern was in the top 3 of the first league and they were clicking on all cylinders as they hadn't given up a goal in their last 3 games (maybe longer). This was our only match against the team all year and, since we shared the Allianz Stadium, was a double home game. The game starts and the stands are a sea of red with just a section of blue standing out. Not exactly welcoming for a "home" game.
Bayern gets the ball to start the game and they waste no time shreding my 2nd league defense. Bayern blasted a shot off the left post after just 3 minutes, but it bounced out of bounds for a goal kick. My goalie launched the ball to midfield and I was able to spearhead into the Bayern third, but sliding tackle and quick boot and my defenders were screeching back. Unfortunately they weren't fast enough and Gomez gets it one-on-one against my keeper, Ochs. You can guess how that went. 1-0 Bayern, 5 minutes in.
The next 40 minutes is nothing more than back and forth passing and tackles, with a corner kick for 1860 that rocketed off-topic off a header. We head into half time down a goal against one of the best teams in the world, which had me in great spirits. We came out of the lockers ready to fight. We got the ball for the second half and played it safe out of the gate, holding the ball for several minutes with some great passing. A strong pass up the pitch and good cross into the box--boom, HEADER! Thomalla punches it in with his head!
Offsides! Fuck! We got a ball past the all-Germany goalie and it gets called back. The goalie boots it into the air and an errant pass by a Bayern midfielder puts it back into my possession. Thomalla drives down the pitch and gets a good look, punching the ball towards the goal. However, the great goalie makes a spectacular save. He rolls it back into play and STEAL! Rakic, my other striker, nabs the ball and punishes the goalie, striking the top right corner. GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! The Munich Derby is all square at 1 a piece with 25 left to play!
The game goes back to boring passing and defense all the way up into the 80th minute before a bad pass breaks it up. A deep lob by 1860 puts the Bayern third with a no one in front of Thomalla. One-on-one with the Bayern Munich goalie! Thomalla jerks back to punch the ball and BAM! Neuer steals the ball and Thomalla goes flying. Neuer punts the ball back in but the ref blows the whistle! Penalty! I don't really know what the penalty was for, but I get a penalty kick! The time is in the 82nd minute and I get a penalty kick to try and break the 1-1 time! This kick could mean millions for the club.
Thomalla lines up to take the kick, the crowd holding their breaths. He wastes no time and kicks the ball. Neuer dives left, but the ball sails straight were he was standing! GOAL! 1860 takes the lead with 8 left on a penalty kick, embarrassing the goalie with a simple shot. Everything gets set up at midfield and play resumes, but Bayern is in a paniced frenzy that results in ball after ball booted away by my defense, Bayern unable to get off a single shot in the last 8 minutes and a single minute of extra time. The team goes nuts as the ref ends it--1860 upsets Bayern in the Semi-finals of the German Football Cup! That victory sent me to the finals were I punched a 2-naut victory and a Europa League berth (where I'm 1-1-1 in the group stage).
Probably not the best game, but definitely my best so far in the short time I've played.

1 win, lose and draw you mean. Plus 6-5 in goals with a 5-2 beating isn't anything amazing :PQuote:
