If we go old school then Bruno, his 2 on 5 backstage fight with those guys trespassing is really something amazing. Plus that was in early 90s when he was out of his prime.

If we want to talk about about old school guys there's a certain badass of Iranian origin that likes to put people in the camel clutch, break your back, do unmentionable things to your ass, and make you humble.

I can tell you why CM Punk is legit. It's because he has a background in Muay Thay Kick Boxing & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I doubt very highly that he'd back down from ANYONE.
