EDIT: I enrolled to University of Hertfordshire doing Film Marketing. :)
Was bored and looking through the tea-spot and I came across this thread. A perfectly good thread with no replies. So I decided to get it going!
I studied Music at Bangor University in Wales (one of the top universities in the UK). Did 4 years of that finishing last summer (summer 2011).
Failed in my search for a job in the months that followed, so around Christmas, I really had to consider what I was going to do next. I initially thought about going back to university to do a masters degree, but decided against it because of how much it would have cost.
Eventually I decided to look at what courses were available at the local college in Bangor (since I've stayed up there to live, despite not being from there). In the end, I decided to enroll on a full time course to study electrical installation, where I'll gain a level 2 diploma in electrical installation and an NVQ in electrical engineering. By the end of the year, I'll know everything there is to know about electrical installation and I'll be able to wire a house if I want. In simple terms, I'm training to become an electrician.
The first year of the course is full time, and then there's 2 years part time to follow (during which I'll be working with a company as an apprentice).
So that's me. Who wants to go next?! :D
i tell you about my current college course if you want
i wasnt smart to go to uni
Wire a house? Work for the FBI wiring suspects houses!! (just started watching The Wire, LOL)
No timeforlong answer, I'll elaborate later. I have to defend my master's project next week. It is called: "A murderer in disguise? The Ethics of John Connolly's detective Charlie Parker."
I'm a business major currently working on my Associate's degree (about 2 years) then probably transferring to get my Bachelor's (about 4 years). Other than my basic classes I'm taking/taken statistics, macro & microeconomics and 2 accounting classes.
I'm not sure what I want to do but I figured business was broad enough I could find something I like. I know for sure that I don't want to be an accountant though lol.
Digital Filmmaking at Santa Monica College. First Year of College and I'm still in my first semester
Well i start in 2008 at WIT (Waterford Institute of Technology) graduated in 2011 with BSC in Apllied Biology with Quality Management couldn't find a job and this September i returned and am now studying for a BSC in Information Technology!

Who's next?!
Perhaps not surprisingly- for the guys in the efed & BtB section- I'm doing Creative Writing at Derby University in the UK.
I'm in my third year now though so I'll be finished around May.
Haha! Not that kind of wiring a house man lol! I mean I'll be able to fit all your lights, sockets, any other fitted electrical appliances in your house!
Although, There's every chance I would be able to wire a house, as in bug it lol!
Nobody else want to share what they're studying?
