The Olympic thread

May as well have 1 for the rest of the sports. It probably is better to have a football Olympic thread separate since not everyone is into football banter lol


So may as well start this off with a bang. Which sports are you closely going to be following.

For me, Football and Basketball will be the closest watched.

Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls will be playing for Team GB so hopefully we can get very far whilst avoiding Team USA.


I'll probably end up watching 90% of all the events (Except for the really boring ones.) in all honesty but I'm hoping Team GB can work off doing great in Beijing 4 years ago.

Oh I also forgot to mention the Boxing. :)

...Maaaybe womens Judo and womens Beach Volleyball too...For the sport...Of course.

I love watching swimming... can't wait to see Adlington tear everybody else to shreds! But I'll be watching everything I can get, in particular the likes of water polo, canoe slalom, football, archery etc.

Plus, I've got tickets to see volleyball. Can't wait!!

Only thing I care about - Phelps and 100m final.

I am supporting Team USA all the way no matter what. Really excited to see just about everything. Some sports not mentioned yet; I love taekwondo since I have taken it for years, fencing is cool to watch, trampoline is the main part of gymnastics I like to watch, just about everything will be good lol.
