I saw what they were doing but there were few if any belly laughs. I like the 'wait and see' approach of the show, with the characters developing and events unfolding in due time. I can be patient. It's not as in-your-face as the Aussie version was...not that it was very. You get what I'm saying?
Family Guy - When I was young, I didn't get the hype of this show but now I fucking love it. The jokes are so rude and inappropriate at times, I have to laugh with shameful guilt.
I liked Family Guy for the longest, but sort of fell out of it. I think it's because there's so many re-runs aired on so many channels. Personally, I think American Dad is better... But my favorite "Family Guy" related TV was the stab South Park did at them with the Mantitees (spelling?). I thought it was hilarious.Quote:

The first 3 seasons of Family Guy were great. It's basically been rubbish ever since they brought it back from the dead, though. I gave up watching a couple of seasons ago, but now whenever I catch a random episode here and there it only affirms my decision to walk away from it.
Still watching Justified. They're definitely taking apart some classic Elmore Leonard stories. It's not bad but it's not how I would have done it.
Loved Get Shorty. Didn't know he was doing Justified. I caught 2 episodes in the first season, but I am waiting til I get a big enough selection on netflix to get the seasons as a whole. I did that with the first 4 seasons of Entourage and was VERY happy. I am planning to do it with Sons of Anarchy too as soon as I can.Quote:

In the UK one or two episodes are shown late nights, so the repeats are at a minimum. Except for the Star Wars thing, god they rinsed the shit out of that.Quote:
