Tosh.0!! FTW
I've only started watching it a few months ago on DVD, but The Wire has to be the greatest show to ever grace the silver screen. Ever. (Except maybe Twin Peaks and Carl Sagan's Cosmos)
The Wire is, indeed, every bit as fantastic as the critics say it is. Its 4th season is probably one of the greatest seasons of any television show, ever. Up there with the 5th season of The Shield and the 3rd season of Breaking Bad.
South Park
Tosh.O
How I Met Your Mother
Rasing Hope (Its made by the same dude that made Yes Dear and My Name is Earl)
Family Guy
and a few others
I think the creators of South Park and Family Guy have just been phoning their episodes in for a few years now. Especially Family Guy. I mean, it was never going to be as great as the legendary first three seasons after it was un-cancelled... but it really took a nosedive around the time Brian went from "charming, witty talking dog" to "pretentious political mouthpiece for Seth MacFarlane and the writers".
Comedy Central has done an admirable job of successfully duping the Net Generation into thinking than Tosh.0 is something other than just a smug repackaging of America's Funniest Home Videos. I seem to be the only person who has caught onto this, though. Will probably be a few more years before people realize that, just like Dane Cook, Daniel Tosh was never particularly funny in the first place.
I have been addicted to watching Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, and The Walking Dead. They are really amazing shows. I mean omfg! They finally made a Television series (That I am aware of) dedicated to zombie lovers! I am really, really happy about its existance, but sad that the end of the current season is approaching us rather quickily.
As for South Park I will usually watch it on random nights when nothing else is on television. I lost interest in watching it frequently back in 05.
Yeah, waiting a whole another year for the second season of Walking Dead is going to be brutal. On the upside, at least we'll be getting twice as many episodes next time around.
