YES! I'm not ready for it to end just yet!
Just watched episode 11 of How I Met Your Mother, and I can safely say that this was the worst episode in their history. So many cringe moments done with cheese to the max.
Hopefully the final episode improves a little :/
Edit: The website I watched it on combined the last 2 episodes so my assessment for episode 11 applies to 12 as well. Just want to point out again how bad the last episode was, The throwing someone in the pit analogy, and each character throwing a ladder at the end to show progress or some kind of bullshit, dear lord that was horrible. Then the completely outrages and totally believable twist of revealing how Barney planned this from the start and revealing it in steps until the final one, Sitcoms need to stay simple and not become a rom com fucking movie.
But I am still happy they renewed it for another season because I have to find out how Ted met his kid's mother, I really do.
I haven't really seen much of How I Met Your Mother. I have seen the odd episode here and there, but never followed it. It seemed decent enough, but it falls into the same formularic bullshit that a majority of US sitcoms do. A little sentimentality is fine when used right, but overbearing schmaltz can fuck right off.
Hey does anyone here watch Impractical Jokers? Its my favorite show on television.
Most-pirated shows of 2012, One episode of Game Of Thrones did 4.2 million illegal downloads which was more than it's television audience. To think how TV could've been if the internet didn't exist, TV ratings shouldn't matter as much anymore.
1. Game of Thrones
3. The Big Bang Theory
4. How I Met Your Mother
5. Breaking Bad
6. The Walking Dead
Anyways, I watched some of the older episodes the other day, and I can see where some people are saying the product has gone down hill. I'm sure some could make the argument for Friends, Seinfeld, Scrubs, or any other show that lasted more than 5 season. In my eyes though, you are either a fan, or you are not.
I'm re-watching The Newsroom this weekend. Good shit.
So i miss blogging, but honestly, haven't been watching Raw each week, mainly catching mini parts or reading what has happened. I might start doing mini blogs about episodes of shows I watch each week like Go On, Raising Hope, Revenge, Once Upon a time, ect. Would anyone be interested in reading?
