WWE should have kept the WWECW Championshit going,guys like Kofi,Wade Barrett,Gillberg 2012,R-Truth could have used it as a stepping stone from the IC and US titles to the WWE championship and WHC.As well as guys who have fallen down the pecking order like Del Rio.
Kofi brings the Intercontinental Championship down, after it was being rebuilt in the hands of main event level talents like The Miz, Christian, and Big Show. The Miz carried himself like a top star even though he was holding a midcard belt. Wade Barrett has that same ability to make any thing he's doing seem important. He can boost the prestige of the IC Title.
I would rather they give Barrett the IC Title, so that it can be brought back up to its pre-Attitude Era status, and they can move towards unifying the World Titles.
