And there we have it EWN voted 94.44% in favour of Wes and he gets a contract and that concludes i believe the most predictable gutcheck so far.
Sidenote: This marks the 8 contestant on Gutcheck since it started of those 8: 5 gained a contract (Silva, Hendrix, Shaw, York & Brisco), 2 failed (Lewie, Markopoulos) & 1 got a non-development contract Ryan.
Thats a fairly high success rate!!
One remark about the Gut Check match / Brisco's moveset. His finisher is ridicilous. He pinned Bischoff but was on the mat with both shoulders for the whole three count.
They should fix that.

Tell you the truth; I think Wes would have looked better if they picked a different opponent. I understand why they chose Garrett (he's shitty enough that a GutCheck contestant could go over him and he loses no credibility because he has none) but I just think it was a horrible choice to put a guy who is trying to become part of the roster against a guy who (in MY opinion) shouldn't be on the roster. You could have gotten a better result with using an appearance for (saddened to say) Sonjay, Douglas Williams, The Pope, Kid Kash, or even Crimson because all these guys have been booked so weak the last few times we have seen them, it wouldn't hurt their credibility too much and produced a better match than what Wes had.Quote:

It wouldn't make sense, storyline wise, if Wes beat Angle. Kurt is supposed to be his wrestling trainer, that would reek of corruption(storyline wise) on Angle's part.
And I think they are going to feud with Angle, once they get exposed. So if Wes had beaten Angle already it would be p. awkward.
It doesn't make sense that Garratt has a contract, so anything involving him will also fail to make sense. With his ability and charisma he's only make sense in a nepotism angle as comic relief, never in a serious angle and never in anything other than being the victim of a squash match
To the Garrett part; I know the direction of the story, which is why I said originally that the way the whole Garrett vs. Wes Gut Check was done was far too "predictable" and only used to advance the A&8s story...Quote:
