One of them got a DUI(I think) and tried to bribe the cop that pulled her over, then lied about where she worked in an attempt to not get caught by WWE officials. I think she's got one more incident to her but I don't remember. The other one apparently missed dates on WWE's recent UK tour.
EDIT: Come to think of it, I think it was speeding and not a DUI.
I'll prob get some heat and I know the Uso don't want to do this, but lets face it, what they are doing is not making that big of a impact now.
You can point out the Rock, but again lets face it, he doesn't look like a stereotypical Samoan. He has a ripped African American type body. The Usos on the other hand look like stereotypical Samoans and they needed to from the get go, OR try to change it now be a cannibalistic savage team like the SST/Headshrinkers, with a manager. Tamina would have worked perfectly.
I've heard they don't want to be Umaga type Samoan savages, BUT it works and they could have made it work and they would have been a bigger draw IMO is they did or do so. One of those teams like the SST when the Michael Myers music hits people get afraid and intimidated.
Just my thoughts.
The Usos are a really good team who can, given a chance, put on some amazing matches. Their feud with The Ascension on NXT was one of the best I had seen in quite sometime. Every match the two teams had was outstanding.
It bewilders me that the Uso's are so liked. I don't care for them in any way - just two dated stereotypes in my opinion. Don't like the movesets: splash, elbow, headbutt etcetera.. If 90's Hogan could do every move you do you need to work on your moveset.
That said: I don't care for them, but I do respect them. I believe they work their asses of, job when asked to. I don't mind seeing them in the tag team mix - with the emphasis on mix, four five six decent teams of which the Uso's are a midcard one.
The Rock worked his way into a ripped physique. As Rocky Miavia he was a little pudgy. Not fat by any means, but he wasnt ripped like he is today. The Usos simply dont connect well with the fans. I think a heel turn would do them well.
