Too much Miz TV

I'm a fan of The Miz and all, but do we really need to see the talk show segment every single week? When MizTV first started out, it was only once or twice a month, which was fine. In fact, that's right where it should be. Once on Raw, and once on SmackDown. But now it's turning into overkill. They already had it this week featuring Cody's mustache, and the week before that it was CM Punk's lie detector test. Team Hell No is featured on SmackDown tonight, and there's going to be another segment at Tribute to the Troops with The Muppets. I'm sure there will be a Christmas edition before the month is over too.

I don't recall Peep Show, Highlight Reel, Cutting Edge, or VIP Lounge EVER getting featured so often, and they shouldn't have been. A talk show segment is fine to do every now and then as a special treat, but it shouldn't be a weekly deal.

On a side note, I've noticed that with the increase of MizTV, The Miz himself barely wrestles anymore. In fact, he hasn't wrestled on Raw or SmackDown since his face turn at Survivor Series. Unless creative is planning on having him replace Vickie Guerrero as the GM, then it dosen't make any sense.

Just saying. MizTV is great, and talk show segments have always been a part of WWE. But they need to cut it back some.

The miz just recently turned face. They just want to give him more face time cutting promo's as a face.. it hasn't been over kill to me yet.

No it hasn't been too much Miz TV. WWE is testing the waters for new main stream faces currently and they are getting edgier. They are giving the Miz the Face turn Roddy Piper push.

Miz TV is getting better also and his face character is getting over more and more each week, without having to change his actual personality. It's wrestling evolution 101.

Everytime I hear Miz use the term "talk show" when he says it's the most must-see talk show, I think there's a portion of the audience that thinks to themselves "shut the fuck up... this is wrestling, not Oprah."

But I'd like to see him actually feuding in the ring with someone right now too. Talk the talk AND walk the walk. Right now, there's too much of Miz interviewing, commentating, and trash talking, and not near enough wrestling. We've yet to see him beat a prominent heel as a babyface yet.

The heel Miz got over as a heel for trash talking, and then backing up what he said. If babyface Miz wrestled as often as he hosted Miz TV, he'd be far more over as a good guy than he currently is.

Too much MizTv? No such thing.

A lot of talk with limited wrestling equals more anticipation when he actually dawns the tights and wrestles, even if it's not a championship match. Just like Piper, Henning, during their face days and Ventura during his day. People get more invested in personality then actual in ring ability. If that wasn't the case Tyson Kidd would be Champion.

IMO, Miz is hardly a bad wrestler. Considering that he was a reality Tv star prior to being in WWE, he's now a half decent wrestler. He's com a long way.

Didn't mean ability. You're reading too much into it. Limited wrestling. Meaning actual matches.

You said The Miz hasn't had a match since his face turn at Survivor Series. You are wrong. I'm sure he had a match with David Otunga on the Raw after Survivor Series. To get back on topic, I do kinda agree with you that there might be just a little too much MizTV but that might just be because the WWE has no other current plans for him until like the Rumble time. Hey, at least he's on TV.
