that is what cm punk wore during his commercial for the wwe 13 game - looks like the stuff the sheild wears. could this be the clue people over looked? - is it a clue or is it just pure luck that this happened and nothing will come of it?
No it's not a clue that we overlooked, WWE aren't that clever, and they probably didn't even know that The Shield was going to debut several months later when they did the WWE 13 commercials.
It's nothing more than a coincidence that you're reading too much into.
just like how the wm28 main event was made one year before it happened. - i bet they had it planed out - just like they planned rock vs champ at royal rumble and had punk promo on raw 1000 - like 6-7 months before the match. wwe has been doing some long term planning - i would not be suprised if this was one of themQuote:

WWE change plans on a weekly and even day to day basis. When they were filming WWE 13 commercials, I bet my house that they didn't slap that bullet proof vest on Punk because they had plans for The Shield. Like I said, I doubt they were even aware at the time that they'd be calling up Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns in a few months time.

Yes, the WWE has been doing long term planning, but considering the factor that at the time of the WWE 13 commercial, Ambrose wasn't even being used on NXT, Seth Rollins was becoming a big thing in NXT, and I'm not sure on Roman, I can't see this being all part of a long term plan Sorry
I think it might actually be possible that cm punk is not involved with the shield they just attacked the people he was facing because they are heels and cm punk and the people punk were facing were faces!? crazy thoughts :)
