like others have stated above- it all depends on the character. Some can do mixtures of both, some all the way funny, some all the way serious, some can do shocking- doesn't matter as long as the writer can pull it off. And you do it great

But when you give an option like "None- you suck" I have to click it.

But in my opinion, you seem to do both nicely. I especially enjoy the Hollywood Homeboys and Eddings wreak havoc, but I'm getting a taste for Bushido too. I think you do a great job bringing your characters to life - keep doing what you're doing!
