Where does the US-championship belong?

It's definitely viewed as the 4th most prestigious title in the eyes of WWE management, however, I think Cesaro is doing a great job with it right now. I'd like to see it featured more prominently but I can't see it happening anytime soon.
In fact, with Cesaro involved in this Intercontinental Cup, I wouldn't put it past WWE to unify both IC and US title.

I think the United States Championship is a lot more prestigious then people make it out to be. I mean guys like Ric Flair, Sting, Goldberg, Stone Cold, and other great WCW Talent have held the belt. Also look at the WWE Greats who have held the titles include Booker T, Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, the Miz, Big Show, Daniel Bryan, JBL, and Sheamus. That's an impressive list of former champions and look at the current champion Antonio Cesaro who is dominating the WWE right now.

Drop The ic or us title... and bring back an older title... I wouldn't mind cesaro just turning the us title to the european title as a heel move either.

WWE treats it the way it does because it's a WCW belt. That's why the WHC is lower than the WWE Title as well. The U.S. Title is pretty much the modern day equivalent of the European or TV title. It's been held mostly by lower card stars since the end of the brand split while the IC Title was held by former World Champions or guys who are on the cusp of breaking through to World Title level.

You might be on the money about Cesaro outgrowing the title. I hadn't thought of it that way before.

I'm saddened by the devaluation of those belts - and I was always WWF over WCW back in the day. But the rich history of the NWA being just cast aside - to me the WHC should mean much, much more than that piece of crap WWE title.

Right? I've never really been able to understand how being the champion of the WWE is bigger than being the WORLD champion. Prestige aside , its just plain logic.

Yeah that isn't happening anymore.

But i do see it being unified sooner rather than later.

I heard they may be doing it, and having Main Event elevate the IC title, much like RAW pushes the WWE Title, and SD pushes the WHC.

Which is surprising, considering Cesaro is usually the one on ME.
