It's supposed to be downright putrid. And that's not early word; it's pretty much the final consensus.
But again, I'm not sure why this would come as a surprise to anyone. John Moore is the hackiest of hacks. And teaming Willis up with a son who, until this point, has been entirely irrelevant, speaks volumes about the creative bankruptcy at play here. What's next? Are they going to have a 70 year old, legally blind McClane and his seeing eye dog sidekick, Nakatomi, fight their way out of a license renewal at the department of motor vehicles? C'mon.
So saw safe haven and beautiful creatures yesterday. Beautiful creatures was good, and looks like if it proves to be a box office success, the replacement to the twilight fans. As for safe haven, i actually really liked it. If i compared it to other romance movies ive watched, id have to give it an 4/5.
My girl inexplicably wanted to go see Safe Haven, but then her friends mercifully informed her that it was awful (which was backed up by the pitiful aggregated scores it has on the tomatometer and metacritic), so I dodged a real bullet there. Saw the utterly fantastic Silver Linings Playbook instead, which I'm certain was an exponentially better choice.
Safe Haven was actually filmed about an hour from where I live.
Total Recall.
Longest two hour movie I've ever seen.
The Bourne Legacy - Highly recommended just hope they include Matt and Renner together in the next movie :D
Michael Bay has actually cast Megan friggin' Fox as April O'Neil for his production company's new Ninja Turtles flick.
Hahahahahahahahhaaha. That bit of hilarity has officially made my week. Hahahahahahahahhaaha.
EDIT: Oh, SHIT. Apparently, also up for the role were the likes of Jane Levy and Anna Kendrick (both of which would have been awesome choices). And they went with Megan. Fucking. Fox.
There simply aren't enough hahahahahahahahhaahas in the world to encapsulate the comedy at work here. Jebus.
