Smaller breweries always do it better. The mass produced stuff is generally shit. European beers aren't fussy like that, they're much more concerned with producing a decent beer, rather than flooding the market with it. Some of the better Aussie beers would be Coopers (especially vintage), Mountain Goat & Little Creatures.
