Speaking of regional food, another great munch that only exists in Scotland: Stovies!
(pretty much just potatoes, onions and some kind of beef mixed together and eaten with oatcakes and/or beetroot)

This piece of glorious food was invented right around the corner of my house and I've been loving it for 7 years.
Don't eat too many though, it's bad, but oh so delicious.
Wikipedia says it has 1800 calories?
What is basically is: Fries topped with schawarma( ugly word in English, damn) on that is garlic sauce and possibly sambal, then 2 slices of cheese on it, put it in the grill for 30 sec-1 min -ish, and to top it off there is salad put on it.
