Would anyone else like to see ROH do a huge tournament like the Jim Crocket Memorial.

Cup. For the news fans that was a tag team wrestling tournament back in the day. Or a Super J cup kind of tournament bringing in talen from around the world? ROh is the only american fed that would do something like that right.

Their Tag Team Turmoil DVD from this year had a mini tag tournament in it - although by mini, I mean it only had two rounds.

#1. The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Bravado Brothers
#2. Future Shock vs. Coleman & Alexander
Winner of #1 vs. Winner of #2
I agree that they should hold a (bigger) tag team tournament though. With their main event scene being pretty slim pickings at the moment, their tag division is currently their best asset BY FAR. It's positively loaded, even with the loss of Kings of Wrestling:

    The Briscoes
    The Young Bucks
    Future Shock
    The American Wolves
    The All-Night Express
    World's Greatest Tag Team
The House of Truth (Strong & Elgin)
    Coleman & Alexander
    The Embassy (Ciampa & Rhino)
Corino & Jacobs (they've never actually tagged AFAIK, but they're "together" so to speak)

Something that you should definitely look into is PWG's annual DDT4 tournament. (Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament) This is the [spoiler free] brackets from this year's DDT4, which was an awesome show:

#1. The Young Bucks vs. Willie Mack & Brandon Gatson
#2. The American Wolves vs. The RockNES Monsters
#3. Kings of Wrestling vs. The Cutler Brothers
#4. The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Nightmare Violence Connection
    #5. Semi
    #6. Semi
    #7. Final
PWG have a 5 DVD's for $40 sale right now too. Check the PWG thread. You can collect all five of them for peanuts!

Oh, how embarrassing, I forgot to namedrop Chikara Pro's annual King of Trios tournaments. They're three-day long six-man tag tournaments featuring guys from all over the world, and they're always great fun.

As far as singles tournaments goes, ROH does have their annual Survival of the Fittest tournaments too.... although the way they work is they typically have six "qualifying matches", with the winners going on to the six-man elimination match in the main event. The winner gets to book a #1 contenders match whenever he feels like it.

A couple of good tourneys from ROH history: The TV Title Tournament from 2010, and the Pure Title Tournament from 2004 (the first one; haven't seen the second)

All of them are typically just between guys on the roster, though. Nothing in the league of the Super J Cup, or the Best of The Super Juniors round robins.

Again, PWG does an amazing singles tourney each year with their Battle of Los Angeles shows.

Actually the NWA would as well..... if anyone could pull off a 20 or 30 some team tournament the NWA could....
The Dark City Fight Club- NWA World tag champs
    The Usual Suspects
    Team Mega-NWA East
    Bad Krama- NWA Mountain State
Steve Off and Dan Murdoch- NWA Mountain State
    The Tribe- NWA Hollywood
    The Family Stone- NWA Hollywood
Rave approved Mike Posey and Corey Ellis-NWA Anarchy
    Los Luchas- NWA Hollywood
    Rockness Monsters- NWA Hollywood

The list can go on and on from federation and territories....
We all judge others even if it isn't our place to judge, but supposedly at the end we are all judged by one!!!
Wrestling, women and money who could ask for more???

An ROH & NWA combined competition would be very nice. Maybe even get some Japanese teams aswell.

Also forgot to mention wXw's annual 16 Carat Gold tournament, and CZW's annual Best of The Best tournament. The ECWA Super 8 is still going about too, but I've never actually watched one.
