Yeah, us Marlins fans are few and far between. When I first came to Lafayette, I went to the Hat World store in the local mall to get a Marlins hat, and they didn't carry any. However, they carried all of the 29 other MLB teams.

Fermanagh GAA

Why: My girlfriend is Irish born. She likes this sport whilst I have no clue of the rules/scoring system. She asked me to pick a team (A part from London, who look a lot like London Irish in Rugby Union!) since I should support 1 team from Ireland or Northern Ireland. So I picked these guys. Although they play mainly in Green they also play in white which keeps with my theme of all my teams either play in Blue and/or White.

Plus it can't hurt to give it a shot next time I'm in Ireland. I enjoy new things so why not.

Lacrosse (MLL):

Ohio Machine

Why: Not to be mistaken with my NLL team the rush. This is played outside whilst NLL is inside and have a few different rules.

I chose these guys because they have turned professional this upcoming season. I have no team in Ohio and I'm hoping for some fun times with the outside version.

I've been supporting them since 1999.

Best Moment: Defeating Ottawa in the 2002 Stanley Cup Playoffs to advance to the Conference Finals.

Worst Moment: Way too many to choose from.


MLB (Baseball)

Detroit Tigers

I've been supporting them since 2005.

Best Moment: Going 95-67 in the 2006 Regular Season

Worst Moment: Losing the World Series to St Louis in the 2006 post-season.


NLL (Lacrosse)

Toronto Rock

I've been supporting them since 2010.

Best Moment: Winning the NLL Championship against Washington (state) 8-7 at home after losing the championship to them the previous year 15-11 on the road.

Worst Moment: Losing to Rochester in the 2012 Playoffs Semi-Finals 17-13 at home.
