The Wire is probably the greatest accomplishment in the history of dramatic television, and I can assure you that there weren't any performances on the show that could be construed as easy (no matter how some Youtube snippets may make it seem).

Playing this again. Goddamn I love this game and my Saturn emulator.

I think it's due out on XBLA soon (in HD + long awaited English translation), so you should definitely pick it up if you're a fan of Ikaruga/Sin & Punishment/Touhou/whatever.

Sega Saturn died before its time.

Started playing Castlevania Harmony of Despair on the XBLA, quite fun multiplayer game.

Fuckin' A. Perhaps the most underrated console ever?

I can remember driving around 3 or 4 separate counties trying to track down an available Dreamcast on its launch day (this was back before I got into the practice of pre-ordering and waiting in line for new systems). It took 6 or so hours before my buddy and I finally found a place that wasn't sold out of them, and once we got one we grabbed just about every game that we could get our mitts on. I've got some seriously fond memories of the days we spent tearing into the likes of Sonic Adventure, Blue Stinger, Ready 2 Rumble, House of the Dead 2, and Soul Calibur, too. Aside from Soul Calibur, though, I have no idea if any of those games still hold up (they were all a friggin' blast at the time). I've heard some really nasty things about Sonic Adventure, in particular, and I've been sort of avoiding revisiting it for fear of tainting those memories. Part of me still wants to think that game is awesome, and the same goes for the other ones.

Yeah, I remember buying Soul Caliber and House of the dead 2 when I first got my Dreamcaast. The hilarity of the ultra cheesy dialogue in House of the dead 2 is what really stands the test of time with me. The ill conceived plot and dialogue is like a B movie on steroids.

Have you played House of the Dead: Overkill on Wii? It takes the B-movie grindhouse aesthetic to a whole other level.

Love that game, it would be interesting to see if Sega continue that trend with other possible HotD games.
