That is the first time i've heard that complaint about Assassin Creed. For me the control system is perfect. The second one changes the mission structure, not the controls I love me some Assassins. It's easily the best new ip/series this generation has to offer

That sounds like something I might want to look into.. Shoot ive bought games that were insanely difficult like Flower, Sun, and Rain (I also buy games with crappy gameplay but the story draws you in like Rule of Rose) just so I can say I slayed the beast.. Im hoping Catherine has some kind of logical ways of solving problems, because Flower, Sun, and Rain was all based on going back to the manual that comes with the game, and it would still be left field from there lol.. What systems does Catherine appear on?

Isn't Flower, Sun, and Rain a Suda51 game? If so, I seriously need to get around to checking that out (even though, like you said, the gameplay apparently blows).

It's on both the 360 and the PS3.

Yeah its from Suda51, which was the main reason I bought it .. But let me tell you that this game lacks a lot of the things people love about a Suda51 game.. It has the Suda style character-wise and japanese modern jazz music from the late 90s j-games (think marvel vs capcom 2's character select music, im gonna take you for a riiiide), but thats about the only thing that stands out in the game, everything else about it is the equivalent of a do it yourself lobotomy kit lolol.. If you do end up purchasing the game (which should be about 10 bucks brand new, the same price I paid for it last year), be prepared to force yourself to finish it just to see where Suda51 was going with the story.. Its gonna be excruciating my friend, but if you really do go for it, I must commend you.. It is a truly a chore..

Wow. So, like, is the pay-off worth toughing it out, or would I be better off just taking your word for it?

It depends on you and how you play really.. I mean I couldnt start a mystery and just leave it.. So I was satisfied after making sense of everything, but that's just me and the satisfaction was bitter sweet.. Basically its all on your threshold for pain lolol, if you can put yourself through it.. Would I recommend the game to anyone?? No I wouldnt, but then again you're not just any gamer.. If you want to conquer what seems like an impossible puzzle, you want to see what Suda51 created for his very first game, or you like to solve mysteries then I say this game is worth the feeble ten bucks.. But if you're the type to bang your head on a desk over a tedious puzzle then you might die from repeated trauma to the brain as this game will constantly put you in difficult situations that are so out the box, you'll be in a constant WTF state lol.

Has anyone else gotten any Platinum trophies on PS3 (or whatever the Xbox 360 or Wii versions are)? I've only gotten 3 because I never tried untill recently and the games I've gotten them on are WWE Legends of Wrestlemania, Infamous and NCAA Football 12.

I go through phases of being a massive achievement whore, then somtimes, just not caring. Im not caring at the moment, but I suppose it just depends on the game really. Like you I got the full 1000 on legends of wrestlemania, because Legends of Wrestlemania is one of those rare beasts that is really easy to total, and really fun to total

Loads its rather easy with some games. Especailly on the 360 i have them for all the Bioware games and for Oblivion and for most Smackdowns and Legends of wrestlemania.

But really apart from the Bioware ones ( Mass Effect 1 + 2 and Dragon Age 1+ 2) the rest were kinda easy just time consuming

I have a few werid ones as well like does anybody play the Warrior series uknow Dynasty, Samurai, Gundam, Ochichi i have 1000 for each of them apart from the most recent Dynasty Warriors.

I have platinum trophy for Heavy Rain and Yakuza 3. Theres another one as well but cant be arsed to turn my ps3 on.

    - Eve's arse atleast now we can look forward to Divas matches.
Even Maryse cant resist watching her shake her arse
