The Sorrow games are indeed both dope. I actually enjoyed Order of Eclesia a lot, though I know it's not particularly popular amongst fans. I'm typically a big exploration kind of gamer, but I still generally enjoyed Order's experimental emphasis on more linear level chunklets. Loved the hub town, too, as it felt like a callback to Simon's Quest (a nostalgic pleasure of mine).

I was lucky to get Mirror of Fate pre-ordered when Newegg was offering it for $29.99 (I just looked and it seems that the deal has died)..

Oh man, Order of Ecclasia was the only handheld Castlevania that I didnt beat.. I still own the game (card and rom) and this reminds me to get on the proverbial ball. I have a friend that writes a comic strip called Kingo Comic Club, and he praises Order of Ecclasia highly.. I actually took a photo for Mirror Of Fate at Comic-Con, and he commented it on Facebook, stating his love for Order of Ecclasia.. You were the second person to praise this older title this month, so I should take it as a sign and get on it lol..

Word on it seemed kind of mixed, so I was just going to wait until it dropped to $20 or whatever. I heard that it has The World Ends With You characters in it, though, so that's definitely got my interest piqued regardless.

Yeah it looks like I will be buying it, I seen the scene with Neku on a trailer too.. Speaking of World Ends With You, how ahead of its time was this game?? Dual screen controls and the hip yet dark storyline.. Oh I would love to play another World Ends game, or even a Shenmue 3 (Can we please get some closure on this game????)..

I'm saddened that they never made another Castlevania game in the style of Super Castlevania IV... I don't know of another one like it anyway. It was the perfect evolution of the NES games. The NES games had obtuse controls and the controls more than anything else made the NES Castlevania games difficult. Super Castlevania IV gave you 8 directions of whipping, the whip-flick thing which is good for getting rid of projectiles and hitting things at odd angles, a dedicated special weapon button rather than up and attack(which wasn't really an issue in the NES games except when you were near a ladder), and a little crawl.

The World Ends With You was most definitely ahead of the curve. Hell, here we are 4 years later and there's still nothing out there quite like it. I'm not even bullshitting when I say it's probably one of the Top 3 games available for DS.

And as of April, Tetsuya Nomura was dropping hints about a World Ends sequel, so there's still hope.

The new 3DS Kingdom Hearts game is more of the same. If you are a die hard fan you may like it, but if you didn't like the previous handheld games, you will probably not like this.

One 3DS game I found myself addicted to was the Theatrythm Final Fantasy game. I'm not usually one for rhythm games, but fantastic soundtrack kept me playing.

Well im hoping for a 3DS iteration, the system needs a strong library.. Im also hoping the continue the tradition of a secondary game when you finish it like the original.. Ramen for all..

Thanks bruv, the only thing I didnt like about the previous KH handheld games were the limited spaces to move around (that was my peeve for Okamiden).. I'm still going to buy it though, for some reason, I always fall for a new KH..

So I got my hands on Sleeping Dogs a day early...and holy shit. Finally, a sandbox game with combat mechanics that don't suck. Not only do they not suck, but they actually really friggin' rock. Hard.

I'm only 2 hours in, but I'm looooooooving it. It's taken a bunch of my favorite things (sandbox games, kick-ass hand-to-hand combat, and Hong Kong gangster flicks) and seamlessly tossed them altogether, resulting in a sort of fresh, crisp videogame slaw for action enthusiasts.

Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do when Darksiders 2 shows up tomorrow.
